also, if you get a message like this“Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.” , then you can solve this problem in this way:
go in Newspaper> System status and replace the url from: -> https://i.imgur.com/WlRnszw.png

And try after that to activate the theme.

Hello this is my second site with Newspaper & I’m so excited, though I have a huge problem. Any photo I add to the header (background) space on the beginning of the page turns out awful & pixelated as seen on http://www.itsallgreektome.gr How do I fix this guys? There is this strange bug on mobile only, when you click on a main Category on header menu, on desktop, all is ok, articles showing on the Flex Bloc 2 and 1 are loading the correct current Category articles.
Desktop Beauty Cat :

but on mobile, i’m getting articles from “AUTOMOBILE” categroy, in these Flex Blocs 1 and 2 instead of current cat articles.

Look at this page for example :

and look at it on Desktop and also on mobile, you will see that on mobile, it loads ATOMOBILE articles instead of BEAUTE articles in the top flex blocs.

No need after all, it seems it’s a problem of Facebook Mobile Browser.
It’s affecting every site redirecting the link (in our case, redirecting to amp)

The only feasible workaround for now is to disable automatic redirect to amp for all mobile users, and use a mobile theme.

Early I use mobile theme + amp that time I have an issue with the Facebook browser, now I change the only mobile theme. now working fine.

After that, you should be able to see that option AMP enable/disable when you edit normally the category in the Gutenberg editor.
Also, please make sure you have the AMP plugin installed and active.

I need some help with Armyvoice.gr Last days, after sharing the news on Facebook, if I click the shared link opens in a blank page.
I use the official AMP plugin and I tried to rollback to the previous version. The problem persists.
We have added social links in the theme panel. We added the full link example: https://www.instagram.com/hustle.chronicle
However, when I click any social icons on my page https://www.hustlechronicle.com/# (this is the link it redirects to) .When I manually edit social elements in the home page using tagdiv composer and add the links it comes up as https://www.hustlechronicle.com/instagram.
How do I add social links and make sure they work?

Usually, this problem when the mobile theme is displaying on the desktop, the plugin for the cache that you are using do not recognize the mobile and desktop cache. We recommend using the WP Super Cache plugin https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
The mobile theme plugin uses a standard layout for mobile to make it faster, but for this, all your pages need to be remade using the mobile editor (so you can only add the elements that are present in the toolbar, without shortcodes (blocks) and the shortcode for the contact form (if you copy-paste the code will not work)).

If you created the mobile pages with TagDiv Composer, then when you install Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin.
The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For example if tag is “car” I would like that:

I am not talking about SEO title and description. I would like it to be on tage page.
I see there is Tag description element.
I hope it is possible to use dynamic element in some of the elements (HTML,….)

I Want to enable AMP in few categories, though it is written in the AMP tutorial that we can enable disable AMP in categories. But I didn’t see any option. Can anyone help me out here.

the problem is: When you import your theme settings to another site using Newspaper, you have to copy&paste the sourcecode of every page to the new site. Then you must create the blank template’s and copy&paste the templates to the news one. And then you have to create a blank mobile version and copy&paste also the sourcecode of the mobile one’s.
On my hosting provider (raidboxes) I can use dev-sites and staging-areas to handle this. Or you can use the plugin WP Staging. But it is still complex and error-prone.

Just to be clear and avoid misduerstandings, what preloading are you referring to? For what elements and how exactly are you planning to preload them, or what option are you referring to?
Preloading or prioritizing the content above the fold is indeed useful. The blocks have an option for preloading the posts they display – https://i.imgur.com/3DpX6Mz.png That is available for blocks and per block only however, not the whole page or other elements from the page.
Preloading posts in a block means they will be displayed faster when using the ajax menu filter, as they are already loaded on page load. Opposed to using the ajax menu and waiting a little for the posts to load.
The relatively new CSS analyzer tool we added a few updates ago also helps, with the CSS. It will split and load the critical CSS first, and the rest will be loaded in the footer.
Preload capabilities are usually provided by optimization plugins or caching plugins, for example – https://onlinemediamasters.com/preload-key-requests-wordpress/ Some have options to preload specific resources and URLs. The theme has no actual general preload option/setting for a website.
