Hi – Thanks for the quick reply. Your suggestion did not work. I want to be able to set up a row of images, as Block 16 does (like this screen shot), with the titles below the images. So when I click each image, it goes to a URL that I define (for example, to a page on a different Web site). Your example looks like it should work fine, but it did not.
Instead, I still get this (See this screen shot). I entered the CSS that you gave me, into the Theme Panel Custom CSS (See screen shot), but it shows the resulting layout with the titles still inside the images. Could I have done something wrong?

Sorry, I explained this very poorly in my original post. On the *NEW* server, with the Newspaper theme, I had created a bunch of pages. But when we transferred the *OLD* site to this new one, it over-wrote all the new pages I had made.
I saved the shortcode for each in the hope that I could C&P at least the layout, but now I am trying to put the shortcode into a page on the new site and it isn’t working, it is just showing up as the shortcode…
I’m trying to add this code to the file instead of the original comment box, but it’s giving an error.
Which line exactly do I have to replace with this code?

When you view the AMP version of the site fortworthbusiness.com you use to be able to click the mobile menu icon and get the menu, but now you don’t, it looks like it tries to load and if you inspect the code it looks like it is there but you can not click nor does it display? I don’t know if related, but I experimented with the new Mobile Templates from cloud template and decided not to test further and deleted the page, I checked my Mobile settings in the Theme Panel, I tried Mobile+AMP and just AMP, checked the correct menu was selected and changed the menu to test others same result, if you are not logged in the menu doesn’t display. I don’t know if it is leftover from the Mobile Template I tried to import or something else, I am trying to test plugins compatibility, but when I only activate Newspaper theme and its plugins, I am still logged in, and I can use user switching but still logged in, and when you are logged in, the menu appears, it is very weird. It had been working before. Any suggestions? I am limited minus actually disabling all the plugins, which I can’t do on the live site. NOTE: if you just do screen resize and look at the page, which I believe is just the Mobile version, menu works fine, so strictly an AMP issue. Maybe I can disable and remove the AMP mobile plugin and reinstall, but not sure what settings will be lost. Posting in part if others have the same issue and if it was in fact related to testing out the new Cloud Mobile Template.
Hi, I’ve just bought and installed the theme. No third party plugins. Why it’s so slow? Google Page Speed Insights – 55/87. For example, after I install Twenty Twenty – Google Page Speed gives 100/100. You landing page promise people “blazing fast”. Do you understand that you are just cheating?
Do not send me the link to speed optimization instruction. It just doesn’t work. I did it with another customer. Blazing speed is impossible with your theme. I even wanted to pay your guy to optimize a website of my customer who had your theme. But your guy wrote me that the theme is fully speed optimized when it had 30/70 Google Page Speed.
Please, fix it ASAP. Do not decieve people.
I’m having two issue with Global template settings.
1) Is it possible to change pre-existing posts to global setting without going to each page individually?

I am using a template header called “Header Template – Medicine Pro” and when I mouse-over a link (e.g. News), it shows one of the links twice. For example, ‘Wall Street Journal’ appears in blue text and then also below in black text. I don’t want the one in blue text. It shouldn’t be there.

From Newspaper v10.3.3 was add a better support for WPML plugin -> https://i.imgur.com/vAjt3aG.png now you can set the header, footer, category and single template on each language in them panel, for this you need to use the translate for cloud templates -> https://i.imgur.com/Y99kgbB.png in this way on each language you’ll have only the templates made for that language, for example https://i.imgur.com/UJbzFFp.png -> https://i.imgur.com/TWZLxQZ.png -> https://i.imgur.com/CjsSkAC.png
You can duplicate a cloud template like this -> https://i.imgur.com/BLYyLc4.png after that you can edit it with tagDiv Composer.
In your case you need to do the same for 404 cloud template.
The second method is the classic one using the strings translate, this is more harder -> you need to use the this option -> https://i.imgur.com/59kl17v.png in order to use the string translate, for example for the header -> https://prnt.sc/rumozl and in WPML String -> https://prnt.sc/rumqn5 then you need to set the id of the header you want to be set for that language -> https://i.imgur.com/ghCu54I.png -> https://i.imgur.com/UAgVTC6.png -> https://prnt.sc/rumrbd

Now if I understand correctly you need to hook the theme search function, the file for this are these:
The search from Composer, when you do not use standard pack-> wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/parts/search.php
Standard search from standard pack-> wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/search.php
The search from cloud templates-> wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/shortcodes/search/tdb_search_form.php
Now I do not know the right implementation of that code, I did not set it before in our theme to know how it need to be set and how it should work, but if you can set it for a default theme it should work with our theme too, but on a standard search not on live search.

If the pages from the old website were made using tagDiv Composer then should be no problems, only if it was use other builder. For the example if the pages were made using visual composer (WP Bakery) then you have a change to still work if you use that builder, but is possible that this to no longer be recognize by WordPress 5.5

We have images throughout our site that we’ve used for third-party ads. We simply insert an image and add a link to it. Suddenly this doesn’t work anymore, and when you click on the ad, it just opens it as an image. Please advise, as these images have become inert across our entire site and we’d like to resolve asap.

Here is how I see your website on my mobile -> https://i.imgur.com/oau5fFw.png this is because you are using the mobile theme plugin.
Using the mobile theme plugin, you’ll gain a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders or shortcodes ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor -> https://i.imgur.com/ho41rUl.png and this content will be display on mobile theme, also the mobile theme will not display any sidebar)

centumcellae.it uses wp 5.5.1 latest version of newspaper and all plugins are updated. It is an online magazine and has almost 70,000 posts (select count (*) from wp_post returns 69,700 or something like that)
It happens that when you publish, or to be more precise, a few seconds later in particular sometimes for several minutes the site is very slow both in the front end and in the back end and we see that there are from 4 to more than twenty sometimes queries as below

I don’t know if it depends on wp fastest cache (which deletes the cache after i publish a new post) or if it depends on newspaper (maybe it’s too heavy?).

I decided to use the responsive version to keep it just like my desktop. (Less complicated). I believe I followed the instructions provided e.g.
1. disable the mobile theme plugin,
2. amp disabled,
3. In Mobil settings, do I enable or disable the Mobil Theme? I have it Enabled but my mobil theme does not display correctly. ???? Can U check with my credentials I sent you under jorgevila550@gmail.com

The articles shown on the big grid flex have the sub-category shown but I want the main category to be shown.
Example:
I have an article in the category “news” and in the subcategory “leagues” because that’s where we post all the league news. But I want the category label to say “news” and not “leagues”.
Can someone help me?
