but all articles aren’t in AMP version now…
You can check searching mondonapoli on google
After the latest update Modal Images are no longer working although the global setting is set to active.
Please note that all post images were previously set to ‘modal’ on a per image basis as well.
Newspaper Theme Panel
> Layout Settings > Post Settings > General Modal Image Active
I manually activated the ‘modal’ image on a post image and that also did not work.
Example: (click on first image in post)
https://cubanartnews.org/2019/05/29/going-going-great/
Navigation arrows show as if modal images are all active on page however it shows an error:
“The image #1 could not be loaded.”
The image/media loads fine and is available:
https://cubanartnews.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/Fabelo-Volutas-2015-Christies.jpg
Please advise on fix asap.
Thank You!

Hi – I can’t figure out how to customize my category pages outside of your templates. I would basically like my category pages to organize their content by the subcategories like my homepage does for my two top level categories using blocks. Is this possible?
HAVE: Homepage – Sailing & Travel Categories
WANT: Sailing – Life Aboard, Boat Projects & Gear categories
WANT: Travel – North America, South America, Caribbean and Europe categories
I can get the categories to display under the headline, but I can’t figure out how to organize the content by subcategories.
Thanks.
Hello
I just upgraded for the second time in less that a month my NPP Theme.
The first upgrade was trouble less but the second upgrade via Envato seems to be different.
All the ‘TD Search’ thingy are gone and I had to remove them from the Edit the page and the second trouble is that in a post the photos doesn’t show when you click on it “Photo #15 could not be loaded” …
I don’t know what to do and would like to know why the ‘search boxes’ are gone from the Add Element features.
Thank you
Gunter https://www.eucmh.be
Thanks for your reply.
In your screenshot of the header-amp.php file, you show the change needs to be made on line 197.
When I check my header-amp.php file however, I see the line on 393 instead (see screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/oK1Y8ZH). I’m using Newspaper V 9.7.2, I’m presume this is ok?
Also, I guess I don’t need to add rel=”nofollow” to the following ones as well?:
{{post_url}}
{{post_cat_link}}
Sirs,
Based on this comment in another thread:
“Moving forward with such requirements, a child theme will only work with functions.php, and style.css as there are very few files left in the main theme as envato requires all functionality to be added through plugins.”
Am i to understand that moving forward:
1) Newspaper will still support a child theme but only for functions.php and style.css changes?
2) Any other changes will have to be done on each update manually within the TagDiv Composer plugin ?
3) Will child theme support changes to editors-style.css as a major frustration has been amendments to for example quotes show in front end, but not in the editor, so it is not a wysiwyg environment?
4) Based on comments in other threads, the following line in child theme function requires to be changed from 1000 to 11 so it shows: “add_action( ‘wp_enqueue_scripts’, ‘theme_enqueue_styles’, 11);” – is this correct, as it is not in the update guide?
5) Can their be a guide created for child theme users from 9.7.3 onwards, as the guide is clear for non child theme users, but not for those with a child theme.
I’m building it on a localhost MAMP, no link to provide yet.
A plugin is useless with such a high number of transients, what I did was:
I deleted them using WP-CLI
I stoped using the official pluginAMP + Newspaper, because the integration is poor (toons of DB and search console errors)
One of my sites is now using Newspaper + AMP for WP plugin, the other one is using the Generate Press theme (very fast btw) + official pluginAMP
But I’m still looking for real MOBILE-FIRST news theme solution, I don’t understand why every theme is still desktop-first
Thanks, Calin. I eventually found a plugin which does the job very nicely without too much overhead (https://gehrcke.de/wp-geshi-highlight-demo/).
The only issue that I have is the “&” is being replaced by “&” which seems to be a Gutenberg issue (https://wordpress.org/support/topic/ampersand-character/). If anyone knows an answer to that, I love to know!
After the correct update to version 9.7.3, older posts are only displayed in AMP mode an an error on the bottom of the browser (Firefox and Chrome) “The website has technical difficulties”. Turning off the plugin, deleting it, reinstalling it, deleting the cache removing all AMP things etc. did not help at all. Can anyone help solve the problem please?
Does 9.7.3 have many more problems than the already listed ones? Then I would be glad to know, so that I can go back to 9.7.2. Our site depends on a working theme, thank you very much!
Hi,
I have checked your website and it seems that all of these errors happened due to your inappropriate implementation for your Facebook Pixel -> https://www.screencast.com/t/kTwGIDCGU9. You should check the following topic from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/amp-errors-6/ because there was discussed that problem. Try to add the Facebook Pixel code to the right section from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/50DKjWcMW
Thank you!

Hi,
What did it break exactly and how? We could take a look if you can post a link to the website.
Most demo homepages are provided in the cloud library and can be imported
– https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/Homepages
Or you could copy the homepage shortcodes from the tagDiv composer plugin files
– http://prntscr.com/nvepvb
Each demo has the homepage there, for example – http://prntscr.com/nvetip
Thanks
Hello, can anyone help me implement google’s automatic ads? Google gives me two codes, a script that goes in the header of the site and another one that would be the announcement block that is stuck in the announcements part for amp.
The doubt is that the code that goes in the header is
<script async custom-element = “amp-auto-ads”
src = “https://cdn.ampproject.org/v0/amp-auto-ads-0.1.js”>
</ script>
But in the personalized code of the mobile theme says this message:
Add custom JavaScript easly, using this editor. Please do not include the <script> </ script> tags.
NOTE: On AMP scripts are not allowed so this is code will not be included on amp templates.
The question is how do I paste this code
<script async custom-element = “amp-auto-ads”
src = “https://cdn.ampproject.org/v0/amp-auto-ads-0.1.js”>
</ script>
Without using the <script> </ script> tags, or am I implementing it badly?
Can somebody help me?
Hi,
The logo will be h1 in these cases – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/h1-of-pages/
The theme will make the logo h1 when there is no page title. For example in a category page where there is a page title the logos will not be h1
– http://prntscr.com/mx6nj4
If you don’t want the log to be h1 select the page template page with title
– http://prntscr.com/mx6nxm
Thank you!
I managed to fix the error myself, but when I use the AMP validator, it displays The mandatory tag ‘head > style[amp-boilerplate]’ is missing or incorrect. I checked the documentation and found an AMP Boilerplate Code. Will I put this in my header tag has explained in the documentation or how do I go about it?
Hello, how to show page views in archive?
How to show related posts in More Article Box for example for last or to weeks (7-14 days)?
Thank you for help
Hi,
You need to edit yourself the AMP folder from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/6n5V3sDzh
Thank you!
Hello,
i have a problem. I use theme responsive for mobile, not plugin mobile.
In theme Options -> ADS -> “article Top Ad” I need it add two different banner for ad mobile and ad desktop. My problem is in a desktop, not show banner because in a html div “master” is a display:none.
on mobile it works, but only because maybe it’s in first position
This is a example:
<div class="td-visible-phone">
*CODE FOR BANNER MOBILE
</div>
<div class="td-visible-desktop">
*CODE FOR BANNER DESKTOP
</div>
Hi,
I have seen the plugin you mention being used in websites together with the Newspaper theme. So it should work alright as far as I know. We haven’t tested it for ourselves up to this point however.
Maybe check the documentation for the plugin, there could be a setting you are missing
– https://ampforwp.com/tutorials/
Thanks
Hi,
The AMP will be apply only on the first post/page that came from google search, when you navigate on others posts/pages you’ll be redirect on the mobile version.
Thank you for your understanding.
