I made a comparison of the original image used and the logo image when set

They would be the same quality as far as I can tell. As long as the full image size is used when uploaded the image will be displayed as it is.

After I bought the theme, I tried to upload both ways via WordPress or FTP but do not work at all. I also researched on your support forum and saw answers suggesting to go through steps like developers would understand. I am designing a page and using Big Grid 1, Style 4 (aka “Bottom Box”). You can see what it looks like in your own example:

You can see the bottom box behind the white text is BLUE.
1) is there really no way to change that blue without custom CSS?
2a) If not, can you tell me the custom CSS?
2b) I found custom CSS in the forum archives but it isn’t working. I can change the color slightly, but not completely. For instance, if I change the color to black or gray in the CSS, it doesn’t actually change at all. If I change it yellow, it becomes green.
This is the code I have been trying:

I adjust the background-color, but it just always stays a shade of blue.

Hi,
When I create a new page it has the standard breadcrumbs at the top of the page. All of my regular blog posts also have the breadcrumbs.
As soon as I open the page in TagDiv composer to lay out a custom design, the breadcrumbs disappear. How can i get them back? I don’t like that they are visible on blog posts and un-edited pages, but are not visible on edited pages.

I’m using Mobile Theme on my blog and would like to have the category filter and description in category page being the same as the responsive layout, ie. I prefer the category filter shows all the subcategories by a dropdown menu and the description (& the category title) is aligned left. Please can you guide me how I can edit the Mobile Theme to achieve that?
The below image elaborates what I want in the category page of Mobile theme (same as responsive layout)
Just open the page with tagdiv composer and then click on a block or element. Where you see row>column on the left (like this https://prnt.sc/j8pytg for example) click on the ‘row’ option. Then scroll down until you see “row stretch” and select your preferred setting from there. Repeat this for all items you have on that page.

1) Is there a way to do a featured image gallery post? I don’t see how to do this.
2) For each post can we get the option to turn off post features like author box, bottom share buttons, no sidebar, previous/next article section. I think some posts that have video only looks better without all of these things under the video. It would be great to display video only and footer and and ad for example.

Hi, I’ve just installed the Travel Blog demo and in the online demo you can navigate to the categories in the main navigation bar as well as the sub categories. In my demo site, you can’t navigate to the main categories, only to the sub categories. For example “Place”, “Food”, “Tips”, “More” all have “#” but in the demo site they go to the actual category pages. So in summary, I’d like the demo I’ve installed to be exactly like the demo website. Thanks

I created a very basic black text logo in Illustrator in PNG format in the recommended dimensions (240x94px and 480x188px) for Header Style 7. However, on the homepage (collabhype.com) the logo looks very fuzzy and unclear. What should I do to ensure my logo is displayed clearly/sharply while maintaining the proper sizing?
Also, when using the recommended dimension, the menu bar seems to have too much spacing in height. Is there a way to make the menu height more compact so there’s not so much white space? For example, can I make the logo smaller and more centered with menu items to the right, similar to hypebeast.com? Another example is when I scroll down the homepage, the menu bar shrinks. How can I a more similar sizing with a slightly larger logo?

I’m having a hard time working with translations. I bought WPML by recommendation of yours. It is a great pluging thou.
But I’m having trouble with some parts of newsmag.
1) First of all, the default widgets in the sidebar. I wanted to translate the default widgets per language. Down below in each widget I see a combo that let me to select the language I want the widget appear in. I click “save” and the value always return and stays in “All languages”.
The problem is in deed the widgets ( [tagdiv block 9] & [tagdiv] popular category ). For example, the RSS Widget works just fine.
2) I got the idea of making one sidebar per language and assign it to each translation of the main page (SiderBar English, SidebarFrancais, SidebarEspanol) . So I did that and that worked *** only for the main page***. I realized that I had to assign a sidebar to the blog and post template and for other sections too in the “theme panel” config section.
But the problem is that the settings in Newsmag Theme Panel aren’t localized per language, so, if I select the “SideBarEnglish”, it will appear for the other languages too.

I understand what you’re saying, but I’m not trying to change the setting – rather I’m adding new css properties to one and not the other.
Example.
Flexbox 1:
(do nothing, keep it normal)
Flexbox 2: {
border: 1px grey solid;
box-shadow: 1px 0 20px grey;
}
The only thing I’ve been able to find that changes it is
.td_module_flex_1 .td-module-container but that changes both flexboxes.

You are requesting a limit to the manual excerpts you added to your posts.
The theme cannot interfere with the manual excerpt you add. If a manual excerpt is placed in the post edit screen: https://www.screencast.com/t/qTcE5JZ6r
When doing this, the theme cannot limit the excerpt in any way. Catalin understood the problem but there is no solution from the theme side to this request. It needs custom modifications in order to work. You can try a WP customization like mentioned here for example: http://www.transformationpowertools.com/wordpress/automatically-shorten-manual-excerpt
We have not tested this implementation and it could not work properly, but you can find similar topics on the subject with different solutions to the problem. I notice when I use Post Template 1 and I want a quote centered next to the post picture the box is over the picture. How can I fix that?

Sorry, there is no color change setting for galleries. What colors. I will add this to our list for future updates but this has to become more popular if we are to consider implementing it into our theme.
Maybe a bit of css can help in this regard though. Please provide an example of what colors you want changed and I will try to provide the code needed.

You can use a code similar to this one that affects all the links on posts and pages.

}
The problem with this however is that it will affect all links including blocks like so:

That is why it is problematic changing link styles as there are lots of links all around a website.
In order to target just specific links, the proper way to do it is to wrap all the links you want affected by the change in a div tag like for example:
<div class="customlink"> --add link here--</div> and then you can use css like so to only target the specific links that have these tags:
.customlink a{
text-decoration:underline!important;
}
you can also add a background-color or a color to the link or a font size and it will only affect the links inside of the div.

I’d noticed that when we use the TD Composer to set up certain blocks, when images are used I cannot find a way to change the size of the image shown. For example, I’m using covers of a book, but the blocks do not show the whole image within the container. How do I change that?
