The author box will always show the same ID, it will not adapt to the actual author of the post when placed in a post template. It isn’t an element created specially for posts.

Maybe duplicate the cloud post template and create one for each author if possible, with the author box configured for each author – http://prntscr.com/n6e3v1
Then each of the author can select their template for their posts, you could rename the templates to be easier to use them – http://prntscr.com/n6e47z – http://prntscr.com/n6e4f0

I use cloud templates with Newspaper version 9.6 in my blog articles. I have two problems with the “Simple Post Template 34” template, or I haven’t found the right solution.
Problem 1: In the template, I see my information in the “Author box” element on the right. But I am not the author of the article. What do I need to do to get the author of the published article? I’ve done this temporarily like this: I wrote the author’s Id information in the “Author Id” section, but that’s not the right solution.
Problem 2: Social network icons appear below the author’s information on the page. All authors’ social media settings are correctly defined in the WordPress users section. Whichever icon is pressed on the page, it will redirect to the same page. You can see an example of this from this link.

That should still work, the woocommerce authors changed the functionality a while back. Now you have to enter the code provided in that page in the theme or child theme functions file

2)If you need to remove the image from your author box section, you need to use the code below and place it in Theme panel -> Cusotm CSS area.

When you click on an author box on my posts it begins to route to the author page, but then goes back to my homepage. How do I get my author pages back? Thanks!
I posted this in the comment section of the theme on themeforest but no one answered me. Hoping for more success here. Ever since I updated the template 2 days ago, I have these “wp_booster error” messages in certain places in my site and now the footer copyright portion is missing!
These two errors are present directly beneath the author box within every post:

If you want to add the Author Box below the content on the page, you simply need to add the Author Box from the TD Composer and place it as you wish.

My website uses pages instead of posts and I would like to show author info at the bottom and meta information at the top. I also need to keep these as pages. I tried inserting the tagDiv composer block at the bottom, but this made the page look strange (full width without formatting) and also removed the sidebar which I require.
Basically I would like the exact functionality of a post with the ‘by author, date and comments’ meta at the top and then the author box at the bottom which links to their own individual author page with all their authored pages.
Please can you assist me with this. I’m surprised this functionality is so difficult to implement. Is there a shortcode I can potentially copy into every page at the bottom and top or a plugin you recommend using? (only inserting on pages with authored content – not pages such as the about, contact, categories).

I know that TagDiv newspaper doesnt natively support RSS feed import, but was hoping somebody could give some advice on this.
I want to be able to put an RSS feed in a news block and have it show the featured image, title, author, date and a short excerpt. and then I want the “read more” to point to the rss origin site.
I was using the FeedWordpress plugin and then using Auto Post Thumbnail Image Pro plugin to get a featured image out of the RSS.
for the most part this works, but the FeedWP plugin doesnt give much control as to what is pulled.
although it does pull the article into a category which is essential for TagDiv composer to make a newsblock out of.
But FeedWP doesnt allow for you to set the amount of posts and sometimes it runs wild pulling way too many updates.
I was able to successfully get the featured image and feed to appear and behave using a flexi block.
but since the FeedWP plugin grabs the image as part of the feed the image would show up twice, thus ticking the box to “hide image” in the flexibox worked. but the image from the feed excerpt doesnt resize uniformally since it is embedded from the feed plugin and not a featured image. and the excerpt length or content cannot be controlled using the flexiblock layout settings.
So even thought this combo works, it isnt perfect and customization seems a little janky.
Thus this combo doesnt work for me.
I am now using the plugin called WordPress Automatic, (it’s a fantastic plugin btw, and under $30 which is very worth it as it can pull almost anything from anywhere into your site, feeds, articles, Amazon, Youtube ect.)
but it pulls the full content into the site as a post and not just as a feed, thus making the user click the article from the block, then the article is displayed in the same site, which doesnt help to direct traffic to the origin site.
although you can set a template structure to add links to the source, you cannot automatically trim and automatically have newsblock “read more” point to the origin site easily and automatically.
Has anyone had any success in creating soemthing like this and have it behave well using news blocks?
basically, my question is how do I pull in RSS feeds, display the necc desired content and have it link to the original site?

**also, a note to the developers…Tagdiv is great, easy and robust but not having a native built-in RSS function on a template system that is primarily centered around displaying “News” seems a little disconnected.
and it would be nice if there was some better options for Woocommerce since it is becoming the goto pluign for wordpress ecommerce. There should be better native support and stlying included for product display and newsblocks, styling ect.

Unfortunately, the Co-Authors Plus plugin has not been tested with our theme and therefore, we cannot say for sure if it will work or not as expected with the theme, sorry!

The options to hide the author’s box have been disabled from the theme panel, however, the problem is not solved as I would like.
I would like you to delete the URL that points to the author, I would simply like this name, but not the URL.

The author box for the post has a special design and for pages have another design. You should customize it yourself though such custom CSS code.

I did manage to install the theme, however, I have so many unclear issues. First, the theme is different than the one in the demo. How can I design it similarly to the demo? Can I insert the four posts template at the homepage as it is on the demo? How can I find the video section and insert videos that are displayed on different posts? I get many categories that are not relevant to my site (recipes, lifestyle, etc). I want the theme to synchronized with my data. Another issue that I have is that the posts are displayed randomly and not according to the latest publication. Instagram is not updating, the author box appears in the middle of the homepage, your social icons and weather are not updating.
Please, I will appreciate if you can help me with that, I have traffic on my site so I have to fix these issues as soon as possible.

There is empty space at the bottom of the image “box”.
I use 4:3 images and I tried different sizes but the result is always the same, both on the desktop and on the mobile.
I asked the authors of the plugin for information and they replied:
“The space above grid layout is loading through theme, if you are also facing this then you need to set it from theme settings”
So I ask you how you can solve it from the theme settings.
