Hi,
If you are using the last version of the Newspaper theme ( v9.7.3 ) there was implement some new conditions for a better compatibility with WPBakery, therefore, some elements will not be available in the tagDiv composer. This was made to prevent issues with the respective elements. The single image, separator, empty space, widgets element, raw html… are some of them.
If you want to still have theme you need to deactivate the WPBakery plugin or replace the tdc_map.php from wp-content>plugins>td-composer>includes>tdc_map.php withe tdc_map.php from the previous version of Newspaper theme.

The mobile version is look like that because you have the mobile theme plugin that provide you a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on mobile theme)

I have seen this in a few cases, it is happening because of the new WPBakery update 6.0.3.
We recommend to not update the plugin where possible (purchased premium plugin) until we include the update along theme updates

The version of WPBakery currently included in the latest theme package is 6.0.2. Please try to use this version and there should be no problem. Let us know if you have more questions.

I do not see any settings when I click the edit button for each of the elements. I troubleshooted the browser and shows the same thing for Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Brave.

This is unacceptable. As I purchased the theme with the plugin installed from you and not directly from WPBakery, WPBakery will not support their plugin – that falls to you. I’d like a fix to my issue please.

I’ve reviewed your website but it appears that is not working. And you need to activate WP Bakery only if you have used it before and have elements made with it. Also please make sure to check for a plugin conflict. Please disable all non-theme related plugins and delete the cache.

Maybe you have (or the plugin has automatically) updated WPBakery to version 6.0.3. I have seen some similar reports from our users mentioning issues with the latest WPBakery version.
We recommend that you do not update WPBakery when available (purchased plugin)

The current WPBakery included in the theme package is version 6.0.2, which works with the theme just fine.
If what I mentioned above is correct, please remove the 6.0.3 WPBakery and install the previous version. It should solve the problem. We will include the new plugin in the next theme update, after we test it.

No the WPBakery plugin in not necessary, is just an alternative builder; we recommend to use tagDiv Composer, the theme builder; also the layout will look normally, and you’ll have access to all elements from tagDiv Composer.

in fact i have the same problem as picture below (it is’t my photo but someone who post it the themeforest.net)
when i want to modify a item
the problem exist because i use 2 editors : TAGDIV Composer or WPBAKERY Visual composer
the 2 plugins are active. if i desactivate TD Composer, WPBAKERY works normaly

Hello. We’ve been using the theme for a few years now with no issue. I realize this is a major update, so we’ve set up a dev version of our site to test the update on, and when I activate 9.7, the theme breaks badly. We’ve used WPBakery as our main visual composer since we initially set up the theme. Typically when we’ve done an update we’ll see some issues, but when I deactivate the TagDiv Composer, everything clears up. This isn’t the case with 9.7. What should I do?
Ive just updated wordpress to the new version and began to have an issue with the WPBakery Block Text. When I try to edit some text in the page, the block text settings popup but the text field is blank and there is no option to edit the text. The General and Design Options also disappeared.
Do you know what should I do to solve this issue?

At the moment WP Bakery 6.0.2 works perfect. Our developers are working on adapting the new WP Bakery but untill then 6.0.3. won’t work. You can see what version of WP Bakery is compatible is with our updates by looking on the changelog.

Hello, I’m trying to build a block with tagDiv Composer to show a DIV with a url, but it does not show me anything, I’m trying to use the Text with title module (which I do not know if it’s the right one) I’m doing it right? or should I use another module? This DIV WITH WPBakery worked fine, but now I have decided to dispense with WPBakery in my WP and only use TagDiv.
I also ask what module I use to insert Adsence code flat text?

Please make sure that you have activate the tagDiv Composer.
Also notice that we recommend to use only the WPBakery builder that comes with the theme package.

Newspaper does not work with the plugin WPBakery Page Builder version 6.0.3, and that’s too bad.
No matter how sad I used your theme for over 3 years and many clients were advised to buy this theme but for the last 2 updates did you kill your product in my eyes. I have never and no one will advise your Newspaper.

Hi, I’m migrating from WPBakery to TD Composer. Everything seems to work well – with a little work and imagination you can overcome the obstacles. However, there is something that I find impossible: save the text in Text with Title. No ‘save’ button appears when the editor opens and, if I close it without saving, all the edited content is lost.
The site meets all the technical requirements of Newspaper and I have disabled all the plugins to see if it was solved, but there is no way.
Second, I’d like to know how could I have a different header style on the home page and another for the rest of the site.
Finally, I also do not find the way to insert a shortcode in the pages. There is no module for it, although I have seen that it can apparently be done by inserting the shortcode in Text with Title, but, of course, for that first I should solve the first of the points.

Unfortunately in Newspaper v9.7.3 there is a problem between WPBakery, tagDiv Composer, child theme and tagDiv Cloud Library, if you have the child theme activate the post templates will not longer work,this problem will be fix as soon as possible!
