Today I updated Newsmag Theme 4.7 to 4.8 via WordPress. After it I had fatal error like here above. I called my webhoster and they renamed the plugin AMP. After that I was able to go to the dashboard deactivating 4.8, deleting and uploading 4.7 again. Now my website top energy news is online again. 4.7 is working. May be the plugin tagDiv AMP must be deactivated and deleted and then updating to 4.8 is possible, isn’t it? Should I delete the child theme also? There is a problem with one or more tagDiv plugins. What do you think? WP Bakery Theme 5.7 is working. I updated it from Newsmag 4.8 Package. Regards

Sorry for the late response. I’m home late from work and completely tired. I just updated everything and the complete website (except homepage) is completely messed up. Not to sound harsh, but just because you see pictures doesn’t mean it’s not messed up…
Can you see what the problem is, because I only have a thousand issues with Newspaper. Never with Divi or other themes. I think it has to do something with your pagebuilder and that of WP Bakery that are causing the problems. Maybe setting of WPbakery I don’t know. Please help.
https://www.perfectkickboxing.com/kickboxing-agenda-2019/ (completely fucked up and the most important part of my website. Perhaps go to history of how this page looked and you can see this is wrong. You can’t even see the picture it’s completely zoomed in)
https://www.perfectkickboxing.com/kickboxing-organizations/ (same here, completely fucked up with the images and zoomed in. Must be something wrong with WP Bakery and it was AFTER the update…)
https://www.perfectkickboxing.com/male-kickboxing-champions/ (Do I need to say more…)
More pages are messed up after the update and I have a company looking at it any time soon for ads. please help me ASAP. I will bring my laptop to work Monday, so I can reply quicker.
Webshop seems fine and I only use your pagebuilder here: https://shop.perfectkickboxing.com/
Really think it has something to do with the 2 pagebuilders causing problems even though I only use 1 pagebuilder per page like you guys said.
Hello
I have just updated the theme to latest version. And I had read about the new amp developments.
1- The issue is with WP Bakery
Some functionalities are not working when tag div composer and wp bakery? For example we disabled some rows so that they are not visible on frontend. But they are still visible. Yes, tagdiv is installed and enabled.
2 – The issue with amp.
We are using WPML for multi language website. The view of homepages and posts are different than each other. Please see the screen shots here. Are we missing any steps and modifications?

https://pasteboard.co/Ic2MHjd.jpg
3 – When we test some posts with google amp tester, first we get non-amp submitted result but with a reference. Seeing the amo version result confirms that it is a valid amp page. Is this normal?

Thank you
The reason for this may be you have made the website using WP Bakery Page Builder or other page builder software.
I also had this problem. Kindly go to Newspaper -> Plugins and update “Tagdiv composer” and “tagDiv social Counter”
Once you update it, the website will become normal as before.

When I create a post with WPBakery, the contents of those posts will no margin both sides on the phone with Mobile Theme, but if I use the classic editor, there will be. How can I solve it? Thank you

Hi guys,
We’re used to be working on WPbakery and we’re new with the Tagdiv composer.
Is there a way we can just use the visual composer other than the tagdiv?
We installed the WPbakery but it still shows tagfiv codes http://prntscr.com/ngrhg9
We really like the design and we just wanted to use the builder we’re used to.
Thank you! 🙂
Hi, I have some enquires that I would like to ask. I bought tagDiv newspaper theme, however after i install. WPbakery ask me to activate the license. So do i proceed to purchase the WPbakery? As i can’t seem to find the license code in the zip folder of the theme.
I use WP-Bakery. After updating the frontpage of my site shows a lot of code. Looks like this:
[td_block_trending_now style=”style2″ header_text_color=”#0367bf” header_color=”#f2e63c”][td_block_big_grid_3 post_ids=”17195,17202,17186,17190″ tdc_css=””]
[td_block_15 custom_title=”Laatste nieuws” category_id=”25″ limit=”9″ td_ajax_preloading=”preload” header_color=”#1284e8″]
[td_block_15 custom_title=”112-nieuws” category_id=”26″ limit=”6″ header_color=”#1284e8″][td_block_15 custom_title=”Sport” category_id=”31″ limit=”6″]
[td_block_15 custom_title=”Opmerkelijk” category_id=”30″ limit=”6″][td_block_7 custom_title=”Archief” category_id=”67″ limit=”” td_filter_default_txt=”” ajax_pagination=”load_more”]
Hi,
If you want to split your Header section into 6 columns, you need to use the Header Manager functionality and split your ROW into 3 columns and then, inside each column, you need to add an inner column which has to be split into 2 columns as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/HAhi4K5ER Also, notice that if you want to achieve these, you need to use our page builder. Also, for better theme results we recommend using Td Composer without WP Bakery because might appears some issues.
Thank you!
Hi,
Unfortunately I’m can not see your screenshot -> https://www.screencast.com/t/qurH8oRm9i5
The mobile theme is a plugin that provide you a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on mobile theme)
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/ebUIzt4se
If you want the responsive version and amp you should use this opinion -> https://www.screencast.com/t/jZct5ueBqOrb but if you have amp activate on pages you’ll need to create in Mobile editor a content for AMP version of page.
Also please check our documentation for Mobile Theme: Automatic Optimization for Mobile with Newspaper Theme -> https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/
I think that you are referring to those 3 blocks, for those you’ll need to have set seam feature posts (that have set feature category) -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/ -> https://www.screencast.com/t/QsJ6ppY4
You’ll need to add some post in feature category -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/ if you do not have this category you can create it, just make sure that you set the category name to be
Featured
Let me know if you have more questions!
Thank you!
Hi
Ive been using wp bakery but with the changes in 9.7 i want to move over to tagdiv composer. One issue, how do I create a 5 or 6 column menu? I use this layout for some mega menus, and I don’t want to loose this layout option. Can you please advise.

by the way, literally every page has been messed up… they use wpbakery and the homepage only tagdiv and like I said I think things have changed also at the homepage without me doing anything after the update.
Please help
Dear Bogdan,
(second link)The reason you don’t see messed up content is because you don’t know how it looked first. This is TOTALLY wrong and ugly compared to how it was. Could you perhaps see how it was first somehow and then see the huge difference. This is not how I made this page with wpbakery.
(first link)This is the homepage and this also was completely messed up. I had to re-do it and still I think there are some things different than how it was first. When you scroll down you see the 3 facebook video’s next to each other with white space and that was not how it was first I think. Do you know/can tell how I can see how this page also was in the past before the update?
Please help…every time I update something I have to work hours to fix it because I’m not a developer or wp builder….

I am coming to see where the problem lies.
I have someone who posts for me on http://www.bayonline.co.nz and it seems that they have installed a plugin ‘WPBakery Page Builder’. TagDiv Composer causes images to be cropped off (specifically on the right-hand sidebar of the magazine Bay Waka cover, and the link behind that), so I disabled TagDiv a while back to correct that problem.
From this experience, it seems that we need to disable ‘WPBakery Page Builder’ and instead reply on TagDiv Composer. Is that right?
I tried turning off WPBakery Page Builder and the site broke immediately.
Do you have any knowledge or experience with what I am talking about, enough to state your advice?
Thank you.
Regards, Antoon
Hi,
Please notice that all of your data should have to be loaded into your database if they were created by you and not edited from such a demo with dummy data. It’s very good if you have a backup and it’s recommended to do it all the time before updating the theme to avoid losing all of your data. You should simply install what demo you want, in your case, is talking about Old Fashioned from the Demos section. Also, you can use it with or without dummy content. If you will choose the first way, you need to edit your homepage elements using the Td Composer like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/exxKsCxVqxYm As you can see, all of the elements are there and these can be set up with our page builder.
Regarding on WP Bakery, please notice that we do not recommend using it to our demos because all of these were created with TD Composer and not with WP Bakery plugin and might appears some issues, sorry! If the problem is still there, please let us know and provide some useful screenshots with your errors encountered so we can identify them.
Hope this helps!
Thank you for oyur message!
Hello,
Which plugin are you trying to install? TagDiv composer or WPBakery page builder?
Try installing the plugin via ftp: https://www.wonderplugin.com/wordpress-tutorials/how-to-manually-install-a-wordpress-plugin-via-ftp/
Thank you!
Hi,
If you do not have tagDiv Composer activate Newspaper theme will be like a default theme from WordPress, is not need to use it, but you need to have it activate.
There will be not difference if you choose to by a license for WpBakery, this plugin will work the same.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello,
When you’ll be updating to the Newspaper 9.7 version, you’ll need to activate the tagDiv Composer to keep the Newspaper theme functionality you’ve previously used.
Otherwise, you will have basic WordPress functionality, complying with Envato WordPress Requirements – https://help.author.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000472383-WordPress-Theme-Requirements
Please note that activating the tagDiv Composer doesn’t mean that you are required to use our custom page builder on your website.
You can use the WP Bakery page builder as you did before the update
We recommended you to do not use the tagDiv Composer and WP Bakery page builders on the same page though, because you cannot edit with WP Baker blocks and shortcodes created with tagDiv Composer or vice-versa.
Please make a backup for your website before updating. If you need help, please don’t hesitate to open a new thread on forum.tagdiv.com or send us an email with all the details at contact@tagdiv.com.
Thank you for understanding!
Hi,
I have WPBakery Visual Composer on version 5.2. Right now the updated version is 5.7 and I would like to got it.
I download the newspaper-tf and inside plugins folder I have the td-composer.zip.
If I try to install td-composer.zip, It crash. Maybe first of all, is it neccesary to delete previous version?
Same problem here: completely messed up:
I have both tagdiv and wpbakery activated, but this page only used wpbakery and still messed up. Same with other pages
Hi,
So I want to install a new TagDiv theme (Old fashioned) and make a new frontpage. I would like to keep my blogs/articles, pages and menu’s.
When I Install Old Fashioned the »Edit With TD Composer« disapears. I have tried deactivating plugins without luck.
My menu’s and most of my pages also disapears.
I have a backup.
Is there anyway I can change to another TagDiv theme and still keep my pages, menu’s and get the »Edit with TD Composer« to work?
Another thing, I can’t get WP Bakery to work so I can delete blocks created with it. When I go to >pages>frontpage and use Bakery, the blocks I want to delete are not there. 😀
I will take my time and finally take the time to learn your awesome builder and set it up properly, thanks!
Unfortunately as per the new envato requirements, https://help.author.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000472383-WordPress-Theme-Requirements we had to move all of the theme functionality to a plugin. We chose tagDiv composer as it was a required theme plugin and most users already benefit from it’s features. It was the best choice to move the functionality to. unfortunately, having more than 1 page builder can have downsides indeed as in most cases there are elements that conflict with each other. Wpbakery is going obsolete as even the developer stopped investing in it so we decided it was time to work with our own page builder instead. What you can do is revert back to the previous version of the theme for the time being (you cna download the previous version from here: http://cdn.tagdiv.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/Newspaper-tf.zip) and we strongly recommend moving over to tagdiv composer as all of the theme functionality will be added through the tagDiv composer from here on. You can make the move slowly on a separate install so you do not affect your live website. You can create a testing environment and create the pages there over time and replacing the ones on your live site once you are done for minimum impact on the front-end. You will then be able to use the tagdiv composer instead of VC and benefit from all the functionality of the composer and cloud library plugins.
Thank you for understanding
