- NewspapertagDiv Composer Tutorial
- NewspaperWhat’s Included in the Newspaper Theme Package
Hi,
@rozemarijn If you want three images in a row in the post content you could simply add them there like that, when writing the post. For example
– https://www.screencast.com/t/2VuZDboble
We don’t recommend WPBakery on posts, as the guide mentions
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/
In the past that created layout problems when also the tagDiv composer was active, we fixed most of them however.
I can’t say at the moment if the tagDiv composer will be available for creating actual posts (post content). I am not aware of such plans at the moment. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Thanks
Hello,
I wrote my problem here https://themeforest.net/comments/20793623 and after installing the cloud library plugin I can finally edit post templates. Thank you, but my third question wasn’t really answered.
How I can actually use a pagebuilder on the post content itself? I mean not to edit a template, but for edit the post itself. For example I want to be able to insert colums in the text or add divs and change the background etc. Actually same as editing a template but editing the post content. I hope you get what I mean.
I’ve already read some other posts here in the forum which asked the same question and you say that it’s just not possible and we should use the WPBakery plugin instead. If I edit a post with that plugin, will I still be able to use the template for it + sidebar etc? Will it just edit the post content or the whole post will have an empty template and I have to build it from scratch without sidebar?
However, if I activate it, I can’t edit any post at all anymore. If I click “edit”, I just get “Error 500”. If I deactivate WPBakery, I can edit my posts again.
Do you plan to support posts-content by the TDcomposer in the future? Or at least give it support for third-party plugins like Elementor. That would be great. I don’t see any possibility to add simple things like colums, divs with bg etc. in a post right now at all. For example on other websites I always used Elementor and it worked perfectly. I could add textboxes, divs with content etc.
I have to say that it’s really disappointing for me to use Newspaper so far, since it is only possible to write simple text (with pictures) and nothing more as posts.
Greetings
Hi,
Please try the suggestion mentioned in this article: How to remove WP Bakery (Visual Composer) tabs animation -> https://www.willis-owen.co.uk/how-to-remove-wp-bakery-visual-composer-tabs-animation/
Hope this will help you.
Thanks.
Hi,
So if I understand correctly the only way to get 3 images in a row in the post itself is to use the WP Bakery Pagebuilder in the post? And make a surrounding template in the Cloud Templates. Will that work or will it break the page in some browsers? I mean; is that a recommended stable solution?
Or are there other ways to layout the post itself?
Should I use HTML?
It would be great if Tagdiv Pagebuilder also worked in the post itself.
Hi,
That page is built with the tagDiv composer and contains multi-purpose elements, editing it with WPBakery will not work. The shortcodes will not be recognized by WPBakery.
The cloud library plugin also only works with the tagDiv composer
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
Pages that are built with the tagDiv composer should only be edited with it.
Please let us know if you have more questions.
Thanks
When I edit any page, Wp-baker builder like this code…
WP Bakery like this. What can I do?

Thank you Calin.
Works but on some elements not because they have different tabs.
Example: http://www.clipular.com/c/5950073125732352.png?k=wbyQwQNZC71M-xQtMb2VoHm4Gfk
I change the code (for WPBakery)
.vc_ui-panel-header-container .vc_general li:nth-child(3) {
display: none;
}
And for exceptions (Video Player example)
.vc_ui-panel[data-vc-shortcode="vc_video"] .vc_ui-panel-header-container .vc_general li:nth-child(2) {
display: none;
}
Hi,
If I understand correctly you refer at this css tab https://www.screencast.com/t/hnCSLsIqOON , if is so, then is no option to hide or disable the tabs.
You can hide it with custom css , for example Please the below custom css in Newspaper>Theme panel>Custom code>Custom css
.tdc-tabs a:last-child{
display:none;
}
see results:
https://www.screencast.com/t/EsqnG3Xp
For WPBakery
https://www.screencast.com/t/j1dByLMcJg
https://www.screencast.com/t/nT1kJaRl
Hope this will help you.
.vc_ui-panel-header-container .vc_general li:nth-child(2){
display: none;
}
Thank you for your understanding.

Hi,
In the tagDiv Composer and WPBakery, its possible disable/hide the CSS tab on all elements?
Hi,
1. There will be no problem if you’ll continue to use WPBakery Page Builder, we try to make our best and offer support for both composers.
2. Is possible in some case to have issues if you have both composers activate, that’s way is not remanded, but as log you don’t edit the same page with both composers will be no problem ( but is possible to be some elements that will be display wrong with both builders activate in the same time ) .
Sorry for the inconvenience.
3. We’ll continue to include in our theme updates the last version of WPBakery Page Builder, unfortunately this time a mistake has occurred and has not been updated the last version of WPBakery in the theme update.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and ask for WPBakery Page Builder 5.5.5v and we’ll provide it to you.
Thank you for your understanding.
Hi,
So you restored a backup and there are problems with the thumbnails now? Or the problem is with image elements?
Maybe the issue is having both composers active. Note that after the theme is updated the tagDiv composer will be activated automatically, so if you used WPBakery to build pages there could be problems with some WPBakery specific elements.
If that is the case and both are active, try and deactivate the tagDiv composer.
Am I going to have issues in the future with using my Newspaper themed websites if I stick to WPBakery Page Builder and I don’t switch to tagDiv Composer?
Also since you can’t turn on both page builder programs at the same time, how would I ever be able to update large websites.
Also, you need to update WPBakery Page Builder to 5.5.5. It needs to stay up to date for security reasons. You are going to continue updating WPBakery Page Builder in the future, right?
Three good questions I’m also worried about mate. It’s Sunday so hope they will reply Monday. Cheers!
Am I going to have issues in the future with using my Newspaper themed websites if I stick to WPBakery Page Builder and I don’t switch to tagDiv Composer? I have purchased many plugins that work with WPBakery Page Builder and my websites have thousands and thousands of pages. Also since you can’t turn on both page builder programs at the same time, how would I ever be able to update large websites.
Also, you need to update WPBakery Page Builder to 5.5.5. It needs to stay up to date for security reasons. You are going to continue updating WPBakery Page Builder in the future, right?
In case you advice me to only use WPBakery on my Homepage, how can I even delete ”Latest Articles”? I tried to delete it or deactivate it, but it’s not possible.
Let’s say you advice me to only use WPBakery on my Homepage and you even show me how to delete ”Latest Articles”, I still have problems with the widgets that are on ”NewsPaper default” and can not come to the blocks of WPBakery.
Really hard to use this.
Hi,
I’ve installed WPBakery Page Builder and enabled it for posts and pages.
Everything is fine but I’m experiencing a strange issue when adding elements with CSS animations capable.
Even if I set the CSS animation to “none”, items are always appearing with a default animation.
As an example, I created a posts with WPBakery and added a tabbed content with just 2 tabs. Every time I switch between them the content enters with an animation. CSS animation is set to NONE in every section of the hierarchy. (main tabbed element > tabs > text).
Regards,
F.
I want to add some thing on my Homepage besides the latest articles. I’m using WPBkaery and whenever I put some extra things BELOW the ”latest articles” it keeps messing up. Everything I add keeps coming above although I clearly put them below ”latest articles”.
HEre are two screenshots that explain better: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/tcr1fgl26rk3upz/AAD_EESho6eItw6kwZQ6C6Vba?dl=0
On the site business-stability.com, I’m using the TagDIV Composer to create the pages. On the homepage there is too much whitespace. How is that made smaller?
For example, above the headings Preserve the Success and Keep the Cash Flowing there is too much whitespace.
How can that be controlled? In the Column or Element it appears as though there is a lot of extra room above the title. For that element I’m using the Text with Title element.
After installing Newsmag, I started creating the pages with WPBakery. But, then noticed there was too much whitespace on the homepage – the exact situation mentioned above. If I wanted to use WPBakery again how would I control the whitespace there? There are some settings on the rows and columns, but they don’t seem to remove space, just add space.
After reading your material about TagDIV Composer it convinced me go with your composer. But, maybe that wasn’t a great idea.
So, how do I control the whitespace in either situation? TagDIV Composer. WPBakery.
By the way, I’m not running both concurrently. The WPBakery plugin is deactivated now.
The URL is business-stability.com. On the homepage the font in the paragraph is too small.
So when using the TagDIV Composer, the font size can only be changed with CSS? What about the font style?
I’m not a coder, so messing with CSS isn’t something I do comfortably.
I have 3 other licenses of Newsmag purchased over the last few years. When I’ve had some questions or issues previously, you folks provided the code to be placed in the Custom CSS section of the Newsmag theme panel that solved some issues.
But, when using the WPBakery page builder, the fonts are controlled from within the Newsmag theme panel?
Why have it two different ways?

Good afternoon,
I am facing problems with the visit counts in my blog posts. Since three weeks, I think it is not registering correctly as I passed from an average post views of 1.500-2.000 in 7 days to a 60-300 in 7 days…
– Usual views (post published 3 weeks ago): http://www.glutenfreeadventures.net/restaurantes-sin-gluten-en-gante/
– Views in the last post (it was published yesterday, and usually at this time I would have 500-700 views already): http://www.glutenfreeadventures.net/restaurantes-sin-gluten-en-avinon-1/
Has something changed on the “post_views_count” feature? Usually all my visits come through our facebook page (organic and sponsored post).
As I am not using any caching plugin, I have the “ajax view count” disabled through the THEME PANEL (NEWSMAG); and I have active the “WPBAKERY VISUAL COMPOSER” and the “tagDiv Social counter”.
Could you please help me finding out what I did wrong?
Thank you,
WPBakery is always included in the theme package, in the plugins folder

Hello, Catalin. Thanks for your answer. I had read the documentation when I wrote, but have not found information about various topics which are very important. For example:
- How do I create new blocks using pre-existing modules
- How do I insert new blocks or modules in the header area. Header seems to be all presets just controlable through parameter twicking
- Is Tag Div and WPBakery the same thing? If not, why I do not see a TagDiv menu on WordPress back office, but do see a WPBakery one?
Thanks again for your response.
Guillermo
The site URL is business-stability.com. We’re in the early stages of design.
The homepage was originally created with WPBakery. The top edge of the first image was cut off – probably 40px.
Then, we tried the Tag DIV Composer. That caused the sides of the image to be cut off – about 40px on each side. We tried different settings and that didn’t help.
So, we went back to WPBakery and the top edge is cut off again.
It would seem that this should be really easy to resolve, but where’s the information? In the documentation? On the forum?
The image size is 1000 X 510.
Does the container size for the top image need to be enlarged?
What is the default and current width of the page?
Thanks,

Hi,
So you are having problems installing the WPBakery page builder? If you install it by FTP all you need to do is unzip the plugin and upload it in the WordPress plugins folder
– https://www.screencast.com/t/JtpQLGVQIR1
– https://www.screencast.com/t/d48vInFv7
Then activate it in the plugins section.
Or install the plugin with WordPress. Either way should work. What exactly are you doing and what is happening?
Thanks
WPBakery is always included in the theme package, in the plugins folder
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/whats-included/
– https://www.screencast.com/t/4rHXCpGgL
This bundled plugin version dopes not require activation, install it and use it
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Is WPBakery included in the latest newspaper theme update? Or it’s a completely standalone premium plugin?
