This happens because you use the news magazine demo. Every demo has it;s own style. The background color for the text is not present on this demo. It will only change the underline color for the titles, but there is no way of adding a text background from the settings. You can use css to do it though. FOr this you need to assign a custom class to the row containing the element: http://screencast.com/t/XZDTwAgGgsOH and then you can use it inside this code like so:
.mycustomclass .block-title span{
background-color:red!important;
padding-left:15px!important
}
You can add the code in the theme panel -> custom css box.

your images should be at least the size of the biggest thumb from that grid. Your site could not show the correct thumbnail if you have not regenerated them after switching themes. In this case please use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/

Sorry but I cannot see any sliding elements or crooked layouts. Where exactly is this happening? The homepage does not even have any theme blocks on it.
Please try to restore the theme to it;s default code as you may have added some custom css that breaks the layout. Be careful when using visual composer and use this guide: forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/

You can enable Visual Composer on posts from plugin’s settings: http://screencast.com/t/DHKVOXPfb7 Note that theme’s blocks were not designed to be displayed on posts so there might appear some issues with layout if you use them there.

If you want to remove this drop-down menu, you will have to use a bit of CSS code to do that. Try the code below and place it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area.
The code is ->

Also, please notice that this drop down menu with the bar items come from Ajax filter which displays all the categories available for this Block. So, the drop down menu bar appears because these categories are too much and its cannot fit only the first row and that’s why the drop down is created. If you want to remove this you will have to use the above code but please notice that these categories will not appear.

I am trying to get title background for blocks and modules on the first page of my site at http://www.womensgolf.com. I’ve selected ‘Optional – Choose a custom title background color for this block’ on block settings on the page but this only changes the line color. I’ve also selected ‘HEADERS BACKGROUND COLOR Select a global header background color’ in the GENERAL Theme colors.
I’m not having any luck – there are no css code related additions added.
Any idea what I’m doing wrong.

I was playing around with some of the block elements on visual composer and for some reason something happened and the content area is now fluid. It is sliding around the background as opposed to remaining fixed. Also, the sides of the content area look almost crooked.
I have had things like this happen to me with other themes as well. Please tell me exactly why it happened and also how to fix it if it ever happens again. I tried going and removing all margins and paddings and stretched rows and everything else, but it is still sliding around and it looks terrible. Please help!
Okay. Woke up this morning to this:
All of the sudden block 1 and the social count and widgetised sidebar won’t “share” the space. I haven’t changed anything, yet the site now looks like the picture.
I’ve tried everything. Tried to roll back to a earlier version. Tried on different browsers. Tried to move the blocks around. Nothing helps.

On our site http://www.virtualmagie.com/ when you are on the homepage there are a lot of blocks and menu a sub menus.
When you reduce the windows of the navigator you see the look on mobile… normaly.
But in fact, when you go on the site through a mobile (Android Chrome or FF), the homepage have only a list of the last artices and menu don’t have submenu anumore… except the 3 last ones (which are pages instead articles like the first ones).
Any idea why, solutions ?

Please note that td-composer is still a beta version. Also it was mostly tested on Newspaper theme but works good enough with Newsmag too. However we can’t recommend it yet as a page-builder for a live site as there is still a lot of work to do until the plugin will work properly from any point of view. We release the plugin so users can test it and give us back their feedback.
Instead we hardly recommend the usage of Visual Composer plugin which is tested and works fine with our theme. I mean DIFFERENT placeholder images in the ONE block/module. I have a lot of posts without featured image so it would be great if placeholders (of the same size) appear by random or cycle way. Probably I should have the library of same size placeholders and Newspaper selects one of them automatically and random or by tag/category.

I checked and it’s abit close to what I’m looking for.
Just to be clear; if I want an ad to appear within the article, all I have to do is add [td_block_ad_box spot_id="custom_ad_1"] to anywhere I want within the article. I did this and it works for desktops but not mobile (I’m using the mobile plugin theme).
Is there anyway to get this working with the mobile theme?
