Hello,
There is no option in the theme to remove the gradient, but it can be done with a css trick.
It can be removed with this custom css:
.td_block_big_grid_8.td-grid-style-1.td-hover-1 .td-module-thumb a:last-child:before{
display:none!important;
}
Thank you.
Hello,
Please check to see if you have entered the correct id’s for your plugins and fonts. Also make sure that the quotation marks of your added code are identical to the ones in the default code (problem in php)
Please check all the steps again from this topic https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ and if all render blocks are not detected, you can follow this topic to see how to change the priority of speedbooster:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/help-in-using-speedboost/
Thank you!
Hi
I am not sure why this happens on your site as I’ve checked your site again and the color of the block title on hover remains black. It could be a cache issue so try to clear all caches an test again.
Thanks!
Hi, I just want to ask if it’s possible to remove the post title, the number of comments, and the author in the post blocks? In the featured image per post, I am planning to include the title on the picture. How can I turn the text off? Thank you
PLz how do i close the paragraph spacing to be a able to show more headlines in the same spacing, like in the attached image, i want to have like 7 headlines in the same space container that is closing the gap from line 1 to line 2 and so on .
lets assume i want to work on block 9
http://Teamreporters.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/close-gap.bmp
When I look at my website on my phone there is white space above the header. How do I get rid of that?
Also is there a side by side block setting that will show up that way on a phone? Similar to wikihow?

Thanks
Mike
Hi,
The videos are integred with WordPress’s option (Media).
I don’t understand what to do more.Before (with other theme, Avada) it worked.
For Block_9, I’ve disabled all plugin (except Visual Composer) and always the same problem.

Thanks for help.

Hello
I am looking for a block/big grid to display the headline. I have found the block 18 (big picture) which a really like on desktop, but when I see it on mobile, I don´t like how it looks, because there is much blank space around it, according to the next block (block 2).
I have had recently the big grid 4 and I like how it looks on mobile. but I´d prefer just a big headline to show. That´s the reason want to change.
I would like to know if it´s possible to change the responsive display just for this headline, keeping the block 18 desktop display.
Thanks
Hello shailenvandeyar,
If you want to disable the latest articles you have to use another page template, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/goYDSZwg and the other block I suppose that is about the sidebar. This feature you can set it from Theme panel. For more information about our Sidebar, please consult our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-sidebar-2/ and for page templates, please consult here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/
Hope this helps!
Thanks.
Hello Chandra Has Reddy,
Our theme uses a lot of predefined thumbnails in blocks and modules. If you check the Theme panel->Block settings area you can see the list with all dimensions of the thumbs wich is used in the theme and which elements -> blocks/modules uses -> http://screencast.com/t/tQuimSer9 If you want to exclude the cropping system wich you have to use the right dimension for your images.
Our theme uses the system of cropping from center to top. The theme uses thumbs to reduce the page size and speed up page loading time. From each image uploaded are generated thumbs for each thumb size used by the theme. Basically, when a post it’s displayed on the page in a block, the featured image displayed is not the one which you uploaded in the media file, it’s a thumb cropped from the original image at the precise dimension. To change the picture orientation most likely you will need a different cropping system. We use a WordPress function – add_image_size() – you can read about it here – https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/add_image_size – and here – http://www.davidtan.org/wordpress-hard-crop-vs-soft-crop-difference-comparison-example/
Our theme crop (cut) thumbnails in some cases to avoid creating a lot of thumbnails in order to reduce to load more spaces on the server.
If you don’t have the possibility to upload large images you could use a combination of plugins to upscale the thumbs – Thumbnail Upscale and Force Regenerate.
If you want to implement another cropping system for your theme and you are not aware to the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to do this for you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry! Usually, we recommend developers from studio.envato.com.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thank you for the message!
Hello,
You can access the block settings 2 ways. Either remove the block and ad a new one on your page and the settings will pop-up directly or use the little pencil icon to access an existing block’s settings: http://screencast.com/t/ppDzmagpD
The raqndom menu you are referring to is the ajax filter you can also access from block settings.
We recommend reading the documentation as we put efforts into it to provide as much information as possible. https://forum.tagdiv.com/wordpress-information/
Thank you!
Hello,
I have checked your website and saw that the post display fine at the moment. Please check your sorting options on your homepage and set all the block elements to display the “latest” articles: http://screencast.com/t/liDGjviIo
Thank you!
Hi,
I’m not sure how you implement your videos but you need to try a different method of implementation as the one you use is not responsive. It has a fixed with: http://screencast.com/t/fpnn2u3v so it will display fine in desktop but it will break in tablet and mobile.
As for the block 9, please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn. This will rule out a plugin conflict. Also if you have any settings on the visual ccomposer row, please reset them to the defaults. You can also recrete it on a blank page and only use block 9 and the slide element. Please male sure top only use these 3 columns https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
Hi Andrei,
This is perfect, thank you very much.
My only issue at the moment is the hover on the title text.
If you hover over the title on Block 11, the title disappears.
It also disappears on Block 1 too.
Do you know what is causing this?
Hello,
1) For the first question I see you figured it out: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-category-settings-work/
2) If you use a slider on your homepage or any other page, you need to make sure you have enough posts in your category (more than 1) for the slider to display. If you use a big grid slide, you need to have at least 8 posts and make sure you set it to more than 4 posts, otherwise it will not slide as it will only display the first 4 posts: http://screencast.com/t/NXxY3NZN
Please read the documentation on block settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-tutorial/
3) For the homepage, it seems you have it set to ‘latest posts’ from the WP settings: http://screencast.com/t/pnryKysih
Please follow this guide to see how to set up your homepage: https://forum.tagdiv.com/homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/
I hope this helps!
Thank you for your message!
Hello pajura,
Unfortunately, our theme does not have such a simple option to achieve as you wish. All the settings for our blocks are situated in td_config.php and as you can see it is not a simple task to change its values. For achieving as you wish, please notice that you need more additional customizations and this is not a simple task because you can break the layout of the theme. If you want to display more levels in our theme and you are not aware to the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to implement this for you because we cannot provide customization services at the moment, sorry!
For more information about our aspect ration, please consult our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-vs-featured-image-size/
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello,
Unfortunately our theme does not support the sticky post feature. You can however use the block filter to specify distinct posts by ID: http://screencast.com/t/njuPfrtl so this way you can have specific post displayed in your block element.
Thank you!
Hello nwuwong,
In order to remove more from author you can use 2 methods:
The css method:
.td_block_related_posts .td-related-right {
display:none;
}
or you can edit the theme files: comment out or delete this part: http://screencast.com/t/Okmq7lxTDzGd
I hope this helps.
Thank you!
Hello,
You will have to place the adsense in the theme panel in one of the ad spots (for example custom ad 1) adn then use the do_shortcode function in the php file:
<?php echo do_shortcode('[td_block_ad_box spot_id="custom_ad_1"]')?>
Hope this helps.
Thanks.
Hello jyotishman,
If you want to have Grid style for your website you have to add theme from Visual Composer when you create your home page/normal page like this -> http://screencast.com/t/It2axOnHrgJ and also, the Grids you can have for your category section if you set theme from Theme panel, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/fsjuD4I3FXO
For more information about Big Grid elements you have to consult our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-tutorial/ and for Category Grid, please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-category-settings-work/
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
If is not what you mean, please provide more details about your desired changes so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.
Thanks.
Hello,
This color is affected by the theme accent color: http://screencast.com/t/rtCr4JdMv – https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-colors-introduction/
If you want to only change that particular big grid color, you need to use css like so:
.td_block_big_grid_8.td-grid-style-4 .entry-title{
background-color:red!important
}
Thanks.
Hi,
Unfortunately there is no setting for this so it can only be done by editing the theme files. This will be no easy task however as there is no “sorting” implemented for the category archives. The easiest way to go about this is to use a page for your category and make a 301 redirect from the category archive to your specific page and so you can have better control of the blocks and sorting of the posts.
Thank you!
Hi @nicoblog
First make sure that the server meet the requirements for our theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-requirements-for-newsmag/
In terms of speed we have made a page speed guide and covered the most important aspects that google notifies you of (image optimization, js/css render blocking and more..) and based on which it classifies and grades your site’ regarding speed. You can find it here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ Also you may find some useful information here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/website-memory-problem/
Hope this help.
Thanks!
Hello MarioBoriassi,
Please notice that HEADERS BACKGROUND COLORS affect the global header for blocks like this -> http://screencast.com/t/M0rovbBD4zyp if not set values for background colors from Visual Composer. If you want to change the main color header for your site you have to change the color from this field -> http://screencast.com/t/gCMyb8cj and the result you should see here -> http://screencast.com/t/VhbhzIvC9e
For more information about Theme colors, please consult our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-colors-introduction/
