How do I remove the yellow box that the date sites in? or change the colour of it?
I am using Block18 on the posts section on my homepage and the date is now appearing in a yellow box after I installed the theme.

I know that more people now are using adblockers .. but this is not the reason to drop CTR from 6% to (0.5% ~ 1%) !
there is a secret behind the manual caching or cloudflare i really don’t know .. i will test with a normal blog without a cloudflare and i will see the results.

More and more people are using adblockers … especially now in ipad and mobile devices and new web browsers with built-in ad blocking.
If your CTR dropped dramatically by changing to cloudflare, then it may be related to that.
Simple way to test, go back to how you had your setup originally to see if it goes back up by NOT using cloudflare.

I realize that the subcategories will appear, which is fine with me.
The problem is that articles from other MAIN categories (and their subcategories) are also appearing. I know about hiding certain categories, which I’ve done in other blocks, but if we choose one main category (and its subcategories) to be shown, we shouldn’t have to ALSO enter the category ID for ALL the other categories to hide them??
Hello, Could someone pleas help me to disable the zooming animation on Grid1 Block? Is it possible to disable it? I am using Grid Style 1, the only one I like, but I do not like the animation.
I was testing the page on both Safari and Firefox where the animation is not visible, but when I opened the same page on Chrome, I saw this slight zoom in the photo.

the fonts are correctly loaded after css stylesheet loaded. The only problem comes from wp-booster which wants to include inline style declaration into the template (that’s cool to avoid css blocking rendering) but in the wrong way.
The wp-booster generated code refers to relative path to fonts (css/fonts/..) whereas the code snippet is generated on every pages (on page1, browser will try to load url/page1/css/fonts/font.ttf and on page2 url/page2/css/fonts/font.ttf). That’s insane.
Precisely it’s td_css_buffer.php::on_wp_header_render_header_css function that includes fonts declaration.
How can we avoid fonts to be caught by this “add_to_header” optimization?

This error comes up in the search/block 21/module 16 when a post has no featured image set to it. This is the case because the search uses the default WP thumbnail. We are working on a fix for this and until we can implement it, you can use this workaround:
You need to edit td_config.php and add this code:

Basically, you are just adding another thumbnail to the list in between the existing ones. Then the error will not display anymore.

The theme uses the WordPress thumbs cropping system and depending on image’s aspect ratio the result could be different, you can find more details here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/image-size/ and more details about cropping here: http://www.davidtan.org/wordpress-hard-crop-vs-soft-crop-difference-comparison-example/
There is not an ideal image size for all thumbs, and a way to find what image will fit best would be to do some tests depending what blocks/modules you use most add an image more nearest with aspect ratio of the thumbs in which you want it to look well. I noticed that the block21 uses the module_16.
This calls the code
<?php echo $this->get_image('thumbnail');?>
while for block 16 that uses module_mx7 and module_6 use
<?php echo $this->get_image('td_218x150');?>
and
<?php echo $this->get_image('td_100x70');?>
respectively….
It seems that the “get_image(‘thumbnail’)” for posts without featured image causes the problem.

Is it possible to scroll to the next post from the current one with infinite scroll?
That is when a reader finishes reading a post, ajax-fetch the next post and add it at the end? (same to infinite scroll when using blocks).
Hi, I noticed a problem with at Newspaper 6.6.4 with the Block21 in my site, when the post contains no thumbnail.
As you will see from the attached image, it displays the image that we use as non-thumb image, and then an error.
This happens at block21, for other blocks I haven’t noticed something.
I attach the same content in block16 to see that it doesn’t show up on other blocks
