Lately the Visual Composer plugin was optimized a lot regarding the performance and security and recently we did not received any reports about this, also our theme is optimized to work with Visual Composer plugin.
You can also try to reduce the number of ajax using elements on page (mega menus, ajax pagination/load more/infinite load). Also reduce the number of blocks on your main page and enable only the plugins that you need to use.

If you want to achieve as you wish, it is necessary to do it only from the code. I have checked your website and saw that you use block 3 that use module 6 for your latest post on the sidebar, as you said above, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/genPJlFHN I do not understand what you mean with module 1 ??? -> I cannot see on your code… Here you can see a list with all the modules wich are used by our theme and which kind of blocks uses them.

Yes, you can set to filter from a specific category or tag also you can use multiple categories filter and you can exclude categories(but not tags), please check each block settings and configure it like you wish, please check block settings guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-tutorial/
Also you could enable unique articles feature or use offset on blocks, unfortunately for the moment we dont have a documentation for this, but you can check the old documentation(it works the same) – https://forum.tagdiv.com/unique-articles-and-offset-newspaper/

First you should use a cache plugin(we recommend WP Super Cache) and also please check this guide to improve the pagespeed – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ the real issue is your server response time and you can try to reduce the number of queries (fewer plugins, fewer blocks on page, reduce the elements which use ajax requests/pagination like mega menus/load more/infinite load), also consider using a cache plugin like I already suggested.

Please check this guide and if you have a similar issue please regenerate thumbnails – https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/ Also please note that WordPress doesn’t enlarge your images, so if you upload small images on modules which use thumbs that are larger than the uploaded image the original size will be used (the image will not be up-scaled), this is not ideal because blank(grey for some blocks that have background) space may appear around the thumb.
If you don’t have the possibility to upload large images you could use a combination of plugins to upscale the thumbs – Thumbnail Upscale and Force Regenerate.

Unfortunately, you cannot set different H tags on modules…all the titles from modules are set from td_module.php as I showed you above and you cannot set them differently for different modules but only for all the modules to have the same tags. I suppose that you want these for SEO. H1 is found in each title, as an example, you can use our pagebuilder+page title and H2 you can set it in some sidebar with the text block.
