Hi, maby stupid question, Im not getting the Flex Box 1 to fill out the column when using inner row, with a 2/ + 1/3 size layout. Is there a way to get the boxes to be dynamic in size so they match inside the row in size?
I would like them to be on the same row, matching hight and size. The post in both left and right column.
I now use the manual adjustment for th picture and font sizxe but its take time and does not get it to match.

Hello @maribilerm !
Please edit the homepage with the TagDiv Composer, check the filters in the blocks: https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/
Click on the logo element and check in the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.
Thank you!
Hello @rayancruzneves !
Edit the homepage with the TagDiv Composer, click on that element and add a class like this: https://prnt.sc/7RdNvr4p1nH6
Save and view the page. Open the Live CSS box: https://prnt.sc/1DsTrQsBVqZZ and paste this code:
.test h3.entry-title.td-module-title:before {
content: '';
width: 7px;
height: 7px;
background-color: black;
position: relative;
display: inline-block;
top: -2px;
margin-right: 5px;
}
Thank you!
Hi,
You can use this option to filter a block by a taxonomy: https://i.imgur.com/q2evu55.png
The filter taxonomy-current is used on the template for taxonomies; on other templates, there are specific filter options https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/
Thank you!
How to filter an element block by taxonomy.
I am trying to filter an element block by taxonomy, but having no success.
My objective is to create a vendor spotlight post that provides a list of related article posts that have the vendors name assigned in the taxonomy of the article. I created a taxonomy call vendors using ACF and added several vendors. I have assigned a specific vendor’s name to the taxonomy of the vendor spotlight post as well as to the related articles I am trying to display in the element block. I tried using the Category filter = taxonomy-current as well as the multiple terms filter with no success. I assume this should an easy thing to do.
Hi Anamaria, okay, now I get results as I had an “offset”-Setting of “4” (whyever…). So the first 4 results were skipped and I did never see a “one hit result” while testing. My fault!
But if there is no result at all – always one result block shows up called “Archiv für Search Archive”, leading to nothing. Can you tell how to avoid to show up this block?
Would be grat! Martin
Hello @dmenciot !
Unfortunately, we do not have any blocks that display the categories with their descriptions instead of posts with excerpts.
Thank you!
Hello!
Probably yes, but we recommend using new blocks and cloud templates instead of standard templates and features.
Thank you!
Hi!
I am currently coming across the need of having something similar to a “tile/card” (same as those that FlexBlock or Grids produce, to showcase my Categories. What I want to show is the Category name and the eventual description/excerpt of the Category itself (not the posts specifically).
HEre you can find and example, being “Brand and Customer Strategy”, “Marketing” etc etc most likely their categories https://www.bain.com/consulting-services/customer-strategy-and-marketing/
IS there anything allowing me to achieve that result?
Thank a lot
Hi,
Yes, you can. please make sure that you have set the cpt in the post type on the post loop or what block you use.
Thank you!
Hi,
Please try to use Flex Block Builder, set a module and check if it works, if not then please contact us via email.
Thank you!
Hello!
Those blocks don’t have this option because they are old. We recommend using Flex Block 1 because you can customize it more.
Thank you!
Hello @abreham !
That is a different block with one post. You can import that homepage/sections from the Cloud Library: https://prnt.sc/i-teraBQ2Lxs -> https://prnt.sc/Fv11m0N5mRPt
Thank you!
I just updated WP and Newspaper. Everything looks the same on the website and on the post preview page, but on the page where you do all the work of making the post the margins are super wide (about twice what the should be). I can change the margins for each block with the block control on the right, but I need to know how to permanently set all the margins I see when I’m making/editing posts so things are the same there as the preview and the website. Thanks for any help.
Hello,
I have this event management plugin Eventin. My question is related to using it together with Tagdiv Composer.
When I add a content block to a page I can display the events using Filter – Post Type: “etn” (their taxonomy slug). This shows all events created by the plugin… I wonder if it’s possible to filter events additionally in Tagdiv Composer by their categories and tags (which are also generated by the plugin: the taxonomy is “etn_category” and “etn_tags”). I.e., I’d like to sort events in a Composer content block according to a certain category or a certain tag, in a similar way that it can be done with WordPress posts. (Ideally, the event categories would be added in the Filter tab, together or instead of the post categories, which won’t be used in this project.)
I’d be very grateful for any advice or suggestion for a workaround.

OK, helped myself… you must scroll down e.g. “Flex Block 1” in “General” settings to “Cache” … there you can activate 30minutes, 1hour etc.
But there is no cache-option for “Big grid flex” or “Big grid full” – or do I just don’t find it?
We are currently experiencing performance issues after adding some new blocks with the composer on our start page.
I remember I solved these issues in the past by changing the interval on when the page checks if there is are new article/post published. As I understand the composer-block does this check by default with every request of the page.
I remember, there was an option to change this interval – but I don’t find the place anymore where I can change the configuration.
Does anybody know where I can change this interval?
Hi Bettina
Thanks. But as I wrote, the block is not seen in the VC, I have checked that a dozens times.
I think I need to create a support ticket.
Best,
Henrik
Hi. I cannot get rid om related stories. Its a theme issue, but the block with related stories are not created by the VC.
In theme post settings, I have disabled “Show related articles” but this does not help.
Any ideas. The related articles can be seen in this post

Hi, I need to reduce CLS for theme td blocks. How can I set the height and width of the block to reduce layout shifts and improve google core web vitals.
Below are the elements causing layout shifts.
<div class=”tdc_zone tdi_54 wpb_row td-pb-row” style=”height: auto !important;”>
<div class=”tdb-block-inner td-fix-index” style=”height: auto !important;”>
<div class=”vc_column tdi_12 wpb_column vc_column_container tdc-column td-pb-span4″>
Hello,
Please make sure this code is set in .htaccess => https://www.screencast.com/t/YMLZf32uQ
Have you checked for admin-ajax error? Please verify the console when you try to import the template, usually, it displays a 403 or 404 error.
If you don’t use a security plugin, please ask your host about this, maybe you have a security module that blocks this.
If you use a plugin like Wordfence please set it in learning mode.
Also, make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins, also if you are using a child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Let me know the results!
Thank you!
Hi,
Please go to the Theme Panel -> Block Settings -> Meta info on modules/blocks and disable the modified date -> https://i.imgur.com/uxP2wyL.png
Thank you!
Hi,
Please provide a screenshot with your settings on the block -> https://i.imgur.com/2fzv68x.png
Thank you!
Hi
Thanks for your revert.
We have Unchecked the modified date on the blocks but the issue is still there.
* we did clear the cache etc. as well.
Thanks
Hello,
The tagdiv analyzer is only beta; we recommend it only if you have a few blocks on the page and a standard style.
The page loading speed can depend on many factors, and each website is unique from this point of view. Let me explain some of these factors and maybe they give you some starting points for optimizing your website. A good choice for the page speed, could be the mobile layout which contains fewer elements because it can improve a bit your page speed.
There are many optimization guides provided by our users here in the forum, some made by us; you could check some of them

Also, pagespeed is not covered by support -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-support/
If you use Wp Rocket, you can try to exclude the following files
/jquery-?[0-9.](.*)(.min|.slim|.slim.min)?.js
/jquery-migrate(.min)?.js
/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/js/tagdiv_theme.min.js
