Hello,

This prebuilt website doesn’t have global colors; you need to create them, and after set it on the elements/blocks https://i.imgur.com/A4GEFfT.png with tagdiv Composer.

Thank you!

Ok. Since in that module, the header, with the username and Pinterest board name, is styled, I thought something was not right with the block.

But just in case: is this how it should look?:

It just gets the images but applies no styles (better size, position…) and I, then, have to style it?

Hi,

To improve your performance, I recommend using Redis Cache and, if possible, upgrading to PHP version 8.0 or 8.1 and then checking again.
Additionally, if there are no improvements, you should disable Live Search, Infinite Scroll, Infinite Load, and Infinite Scroll.
Also, you can try to activate this option on the blocks https://forum.tagdiv.com/use-flex-blocks-cache-option/
Also, please let me know what sort of options you use on the blocks.

Thank you!

Hello!

Check this guide if you use a cache plugin: https://forum.tagdiv.com/ajax-view-count/
Make sure you have no offset value in this flex block: https://forum.tagdiv.com/offset-feature/

Thank you!

Hello there,

We are experiencing an issue with the “Most Popular” section, specifically the “Popular” sort option in the Flex Block 1 module on our homepage. Initially, only the Popular (all time) option was enabled, while the Popular (last 24 hours), Popular (last 48 hours), and Popular (last 7 days) options were disabled.

To enable these additional time-based filters, we activated the “24/48 hours and 7 days post sorting” option from the Theme Panel > Block Settings. This allowed us to select Popular (last 7 days) through the tagDiv Composer on the homepage.

However, when we select any of the time-based options (last 24 hours, last 48 hours, or last 7 days), the widget displays “No posts found.” We have thoroughly checked all related settings but haven’t been able to identify the cause of the issue. Our goal is to display “Popular (last 7 days)” posts in the “Most Popular” section.

Note: We have many recent posts with views, but they do not appear.

Here is the home page link: https://mdhasnaeenrizvir19.sg-host.com

Could you please assist us in resolving this?

Thanks,

I´m having critical issues with the performance of the site.
APM stack traces show me the issue is with td_flex_block_4.php and td_flex_block_5.php
Also it says within those there are queries under performing.
From what we can see a slow SQL query generated by the Newspaper/TagDiv theme

I´ve some suggestions, whiling to hear from you:
Remove SQL_CALC_FOUND_ROWS from the Query
Avoid NOT IN (…) in the Query

What do you think?

Hello!

You should edit the pages from there and check the block settings from those pages: https://app.screencast.com/XmZeexbITL7p1 -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/

Hello!

The posts loop will display the current category’s posts. You can use a flex block instead: https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/
Please note that if your posts have multiple categories assigned, they will display if you choose to filter at least one category from multiple ones.

Thank you!

Hello!

The “Column text” and “text with title” elements have a button called “edit content.” If you click on that button, the WP Editor will open, and you can add text/code/shortcode there. Close the WP Editor from X, save the changes from Composer, and view the page to see the changes.
Check this thread to see a possible issue with the shortcode: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/wp-editor-stopped-working-in-column-text-block/
Make sure there is no plugin conflict or caching issue.

I hope that helps you!

Thank you!

Hello, everyone.

We have a problem with our theme. When we edit a text block using the Tag Div Editor, it opens the modal, we change the text and when we close it, nothing has changed. We lose what we wrote.

I have tried using several browsers and deleting the cache, without success.

Our website is: https://casaeconstrucao.vivadecora.com.br/

Can you help us, please?

Hello!

No. You can have your CPTs in the ACF plugin. To display the information of all your listings, you should use a custom module template with the custom fields of the Word post and the Flex block builder. Check this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/modules-builder-newspaper-theme/

Thank you!

Hello!

Do you have any article with this tag? Please edit the tag template with the tagdiv Composer, check the block where no posts are displaying, check the filter, and make sure you do not have any value in the offset field. Let the offset field be empty with no space or value, and see the results: https://app.screencast.com/o6aa6j75BHWn8

Thank you!

Hello,

We are experiencing an issue with inline ads appearing after X paragraphs when using the Block Editor. Specifically, the ads are being placed inside <figure> tags, which causes them to shrink to the size of the <figure> container instead of displaying at full width as intended.

I have attached the following screenshots for reference:

1. How the ad appears when using the Classic Editor.
2. How the ad appears when using the Block Editor.
3. How the ad is supposed to look when I adjusted the position from 3 paragraphs to 4 to prevent it from being placed directly after an Instagram embed.
4. The source code showing how the ad is being injected into the <figure> container for clarity.

I suspect this issue may be related to how the theme determines paragraph count and what qualifies as a paragraph. It seems that when using the Block Editor, <figure> elements are not being treated as block elements/paragraphs.

Could you please escalate this to your development team to ensure they are aware of the issue and determine if a fix can be implemented in an upcoming update?

Thank you for your time and assistance.

Hello Amit!

Unfortunately, I can’t see the page, and it points me to the login page. We do not have a block that filters by custom fields. Check this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/filters-sorting-taxonomies/ Sensitive information can be sent at contact@tagdiv.com. Please include a link of this topic in your email, so I can identify you.

Thank you!

Hi Bettina,

Thank you for your response.

Upon reviewing the Newspaper theme’s changelog, I noticed the addition of the ‘new: Added a new shortcode Page Content Renderer;’ block in recent theme updates.

This new block, located in plugins\td-composer\legacy\Newspaper\includes\td_config_blocks.php at line 35935, utilizes the function td_config::get_pages_options_array(), which retrieves all pages regardless of their status.

The function itself is defined in plugins\td-composer\legacy\Newspaper\includes\td_config.php at line 7467. After activating the td composer plugin, we observed memory usage exceeding 550MB.

Our website contains 281 pages with substantial content. Consequently, when this block is loaded, we experience significant slow query issues. Please refer to the attached screenshots for details. When we modified the query to retrieve only 10 published pages per page, memory usage decreased to 50-55MB.

We attempted to override this method within our child theme, but were unsuccessful. Could you please advise if there is a method to resolve this issue through the child theme, or if a patch is planned?

Hello, on my website homepage (ecommercenews.ro) I have a “Big Grid Flex 3” with the latest posts. Below that I have a “Flex Block 5” also with the latest posts. I would like to show the latest posts on the “Flex Block 5” without the ones already shown on the “Big Grid Flex 3”. Is that possible? Thank you.

Great job!
There is still a problem with the gray backgrounds:

in various places on the home page. The block settings are all identical.

Can we create a style that forces the white background? I don’t know how global for widgets.

Thanks and good work!!
Michele

Hello!

Yes. However, setting up the block to display your listings is incorrect. You should specify the name of your taxonomy in the post type option in a flex block or flex block builder if you want to add a custom module: https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/ More info here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/modules-builder-newspaper-theme/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-builder-flex-loop-builder/

Thank you!

Hello!

A workaround there could be to use a flex block 1 there with limit 1 for the big block and use a filter. And in the second part you can add another flex blocks. The offset value can help you with multiple blocks with the same feature. For example, the first block can not have an offset, but the second block can have an offset of 1, or how many posts display the first block, and they are showing the next latest, for example, and not the same post. Documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/offset-feature/ ; You can use this option: https://forum.tagdiv.com/unique-articles/, so you won’t see double posts anymore.
Check the settings of a flex block here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/
You can also create custom modules. More info here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/modules-builder-newspaper-theme/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-builder-flex-loop-builder/
Check this thread: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/featured-sticky-post/

Thank you!

Hi again, I’ve now tried with the Flex Block and the pages do appear again, so I’m going to stick to the Post Loop with “posts” in the Post Type field. That appears to do the trick.

aline@nordsip.com

Great! If I add “post” then it seems to work. However, I’m now going to switch to the Flex Block instead, as you suggested, as I can add the Ajax categories dropdown which is useful!

Thanks a lot for your answer.
