Hi,

You could try the solutions from these topics if the icons are replaced with strange characters
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/strange-chinese-symbols-replaced-icons-and-arrows/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/font-blocked-from-loading-by-cross-origin-resource-sharing-policy-no-access-co/
These worked for most users, it is an issue with the server configuration and the required font used for the icons cannot be loaded properly.

Thanks

Hi,

So you want to underline the article titles in flex block 1? You could do that with some CSS by adding a border bottom of a chosen color – http://prntscr.com/mnkig3

This is the code for it, modify it as you want

.td_flex_block_1 .entry-title a{
border-bottom: 5px solid blue;
}

As a note, increase the line height for the flex block article titles to make some space for the border – http://prntscr.com/mnkjrb

Thanks

Hi,

I ask a senor developer and he say that can not be done using only custom css, also for the moment our theme do not have any option for mega menu loader gif, but this suggestion will be take in consideration and in coming updates this will be possible, for the moment you can check that loading animation only form theme accent color -> https://www.screencast.com/t/HcsSWlAbvH or making some changes in javascript files and minify file, but this will applay on all blocks that have next, prev button
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/uw39FCar
What you can do is to replace that animation with a gif -> https://www.screencast.com/t/LYnhcQo2SH2

.td-loader-gif{
background: url("http://localhost/test_site95/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/UUjhE.gif");
background-repeat: no-repeat, repeat;
width: 100px;
height: 100px;
margin-top: -50px;
}
.td-lb-box-1, .td-lb-box-2,.td-lb-box-3,.td-lb-box-4,.td-lb-box-5,.td-lb-box-6,.td-lb-box-7,.td-lb-box-8{
display: none;
}

Thank you for your understanding!

Hi,

Thank you for the appreciation. That gradient color is meant to make the post meta more visible if for example an image like this one is used – http://prntscr.com/mnjrbd
With gradient – http://prntscr.com/mnjrfw

This gradient is predefined to appear, however I could give you a solution
http://prntscr.com/mnjsin
Enter this code in Theme panel->Custom code->Custom CSS section, it will remove it

.td_block_slide .td-image-gradient:before {
display: none;
}

Thanks

Hi,

Any block and grid can display the latest posts. This is a sorting method available for all elements that can display posts
https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
If you want to display widgets in a page use the widget sidebar element and select from your available widget sidebars
http://prntscr.com/mnjnnm
Blocks are available as widgets as well – http://prntscr.com/mnjo17 and you can select a latest sorting for them.

Thanks

Hello Bogdan,
Thanks for the answer! 🙂
I used the way you mentioned to change the block width, it works.
I choose “stretch row and content with padding” now and also adjusted the size for the padding. Is it possible to make the pictures in the block/grid look bigger? (proportionally, the article title text look bigger as well)

For the top row, I used “Big grid full 3”, is it possible to put the text under the picture instead of on the picture?
Thank you!
Jeanne

Hello all! So I’m having a strange issue in which I use Block 14 and in TD Composer it looks like how I want it, but yet when I view the actual page, each post is spanning the entire column instead of breaking into 3 columns per row. I’m not sure if I’m missing something? Thanks!

How can I change the “Blog Grid 3” layout settings?

For other elements like “Flex Block 1” there’s an additional “Layout” tab with useful settings such as image height (percent), that I cannot find in “Blog Grid 3”.

Hi,

If you want to change the font size only for block 15 then you’ll need to add an extra class -> https://www.screencast.com/t/YcVygskdAq -> https://www.screencast.com/t/saRccv9988bT
.extra-class .block-title{
font-size: 25px;
}

For latest articles -> https://www.screencast.com/t/xk9r40YUE
.td-pb-article-list .block-title{
font-size: 25px;
}

Also please check our documentation for font customization -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/font-customization/

Thank you for your understanding!

Hi,

Seems that is the case indeed. That extension will remove the ads when enabled because of the class used I believe, in case of the background ad seems the whole page is blocked.
I could make a note of it and pass it along to see what can be done about it.

Thanks

Hello, It seems we are both seeing different things at different ends. I have just logged in again and could see that a few posts that were made yesterday are now displaying. However, I have just made another “test post” and cannot seem to find it on the homepage. Please note that the first block section at the top of the homepage is set to show any new post irrespective of the category where the post is made. It should sort all latest post and that it has been doing until suddenly it stopped yesterday.

I don’t have any cache clearing pluggin installed till yesterday evening while I was trying out several possible solution to the problem.

Please if you want I could give you login access to the website so you can figure the problem.

Thank you

Hi,

For category you need to edit tdb_module_loop.php -> https://www.screencast.com/t/SlKfgEMViF -> wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/modules/tdb_module_loop.php

So if you want to have in all blocks in pages/ categories … the time ago you need to set this code like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/lWhmJDCKoL45 -> for cloud blocks -> wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/includes/tdb_module.php
and for default blocks in wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp_booster/td_module.php -> https://www.screencast.com/t/NfJkpSX3
This will solved the problems with the time ago align and color too.
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/Dg43Z86o -> https://www.screencast.com/t/wdlW2jPh

If you want only the time ago all you need to do is to comment the post date
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/IedWkZLvr
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/dJxjmjZ9 -> https://www.screencast.com/t/neMzPzXDW

Hope this is what you need!
Thank you!

I modified td_module_2.php to display 2 custom fields – it works fine in categories (http://s752582646.online.de/category/magazin/new-business) but not when I insert block4 as an element (http:// s752582646. online.de, http://s752582646.online.de/magazin)

Furthermore, I would like to change the height of the slider (http://s752582646.online.de/magazin) from 580px to 480px. How can I do that?

Thank you for your help and have a nice day

Hi,

In the top grid I currently see the latest post being from February 18
http://prntscr.com/mn24zy
In the block below the grid you seem to be using a random sorting, so that works accordingly. All blocks and grids have a sorting option, if you want the latest posts sort by latest
https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
If you use a caching plugin check it’s settings as well. Should be set to clear itself when new content is published, or some similar setting.

Thanks

Hi,

The columns in a row, on mobile (or as the width decreases) will be displayed one below the other, left to right. So the column on the left will be on top followed by the rest of the columns.

Maybe if you should consider it, this would be somewhat possible by hiding the blocks or entire row, and displaying a different row/content on mobile. A topic explaining the hide option here
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/change-moduleblock-12/

Thanks

Hi,

That is the case at the moment, only the category tags will appear in the module, these aren’t supposed to display other tags. That is the case for all the modules.
The actual tags of a post will appear only in the single post page.

If you would like to modify a module to show the tags, you could try this suggestion provided by a user, maybe it still works
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/display-tags-along-the-category-on-the-blocks/
Test this in a testing environment if you have created one, before using it on the live website.

Thanks

It would be easier with some CSS, check in this topic a solution I provided (lower in the post) to color the category tags by the category name

Hello guys,

Just curious but I keep getting this message from GSC regarding this link: mysite.com/wp-content/themes/Newspaper

Server Error 5xx …

I believe it’s blocked for obvious security reasons but is there a fix for this?
