Love the cloud template and the flex blocks.
Odd thing though – “Article Inline” posts of Google adsense ads don’t appear in the posts I’ve created in the cloud template post themes. Work fine on sidebar and in footer, just not the In article ads.
I’ve set it to 3rd paragraph across the site in theme panel and appears fine in older posts.
Here is an old post and you can see the ad https://brandinginasia.com/derry-simpson-interview/
Whereas ads never appear in the new posts made with Cloud Template: https://brandinginasia.com/google-announces-three-fundamental-shifts-to-search/
Do I have to install Adsense code in the cloud template themes?
Thanks
Yah. I’ve done the same setting as you. Just seems to be a problem on Mobile.
Have a look at the home page – see the “Two Ads I like, One I Don’t” block section in the middle of page. That flex is set to random and works fine on desktop but try it on mobile always shows most recent posts.

Hello David,
Did not work this solution from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/? Ensure that the size of your images is suitable for theme’s thumbs used by you.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Also, if the problem is still there, please provide your website URL.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
Yes this is possible with custom css, please add this css in Newspaper> theme panel > custom code> custom css
.td_block_big_grid_fl_4 .td-big-grid-wrapper .td-meta-align{
position: absolute;
top: 35%;
text-align: center;
}
See results: https://www.screencast.com/t/qD3YimODGsr
Thank you.
Hi,
1. You could select a block header style which features a center aligned block title. For example this one
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-header-6/
If you mean the post titles in modules, you could use some CSS. For example this code will apply for block 4 only
– https://www.screencast.com/t/MfE8pedH
.td_block_4 .td_module_2 .entry-title {
text-align: center;
}
CSS codes can be entered in Theme panel->Custom code – CSS section.
2. Block 10 on a full row will display like this
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-10/
These predefined blocks will always look like they are designed to.
However you could use a flex block, set one module per row, hide the image and excerpt and center align it (flex block 1 used in this example)
– https://www.screencast.com/t/IWTlEc3mKaq
The flex blocks are highly customizable, default blocks can only display in a predefined way. Experiment with these blocks and you should obtain the result you want.
Thanks
Hi Catalin,
Thank you. I found out what blocks is used.
Another thing:
How can I style the category tag? Like here:
https://imgur.com/mpLkbJv
Category shows up under featured image, and is styled with different colors and size on theyre frontpage.
Best,
Eivind
For me it looks good with Android and iPhone
Android – https://www.screencast.com/t/JpQixa3CIBSA
iPhone – https://www.screencast.com/t/hdPE4loi0I
I checked the flex block in the homepage as you mentioned.
Hey Catalin,
thanks for your reply. Im AWARE that these are 2 different things. And as i wrote its working for me. The only thing i want from you guys is a php code snipped which i can put into my new page-template to show the author box + item scope meta tags on the page w that template.
I dont care if its not pefect codewise or if i cant use your backand funktions on that particular page-template that i have copy+pasted from the post-template-7. it looks as i want it on the front end and google can flawlessly read it – enough for me.
What i dont want is to build or check other templates whith editior … it would just take me hours to get a result thats allready there in your post-template-7.

Hi,
Please check also the size you have selected for media image ( https://www.screencast.com/t/2EBtYSxdqDg https://www.screencast.com/t/XQvfXhex6 ).
Also please read about thumbs on modules and blocks: https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/
Thank you.
Hi,
I don’t quite understand the problem you are referring to, some more details and screenshots, or a link to the website where I can see the problem would be very helpful.
A featured image or video can be set in the post edit screen
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image-or-video/
The theme will create thumbnails from the images or video, these will appear in blocks, grids etc
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-vs-featured-image-size/
Hi,
Try it like this, the code will apply only to the titles in the slide element
.td_block_slide .entry-title {
background-color: ;
}
Use any color you want, use a generator for example if you want
– https://www.css3maker.com/css-3-rgba.html
Or even set a shadow for the text
– https://html-css-js.com/css/generator/text-shadow/
Thanks
Hi,
Entering the post ID in the latest articles like you did (with a “-“) will result in that post not being displayed in that section
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Rmr2zaCxE
It will not affect other parts of the page, only the post loop. So the top part, the homepage post, will not be affected.
If you want to exclude the post from other sections of the page (block, grids etc) you will have to do the same thing in each of their settings.
Hi,
I tried it as well, with the value suggested above
– https://www.screencast.com/t/kf7F2FqtZs
A value of 1 also works – https://www.screencast.com/t/2jdlUYMChjen
I checked your website, can’t seem to find this type of block in the homepage at the moment.
Hi akshem,
Please use this Regenerate Thumbnails; here are more information about it: https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/
Thank you.
Hi ColinsChakma,
Notice that our theme has two possibilities to be displayed on mobile. The default one is General Responsive Mobile and with Mobile Theme plugin. The first one will display the exact layout from the desktop in responsiveness mode and the second one, Mobile Theme will display a certain layout for mobile as you can see in our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ -> https://www.screencast.com/t/yzdjJUZ4W If you want to change something like this from here you can do it from the code. Also, if you will choose the first way, it’s enough to set up your blocks with your desired filter and the mobile responsiveness will display the same results but on mobile.
For Comments go in your post, look in the right corner for screen option, expand and check the discussion ( https://www.screencast.com/t/f3xfvp59x3S ), after that go down in page and look for Discussion, check “allow comments” and “Allow trackbacks and pingbacks on this page”:
https://www.screencast.com/t/IRsTzHWrN
Thank you for your understanding.
Hi guys
Hope you’re doing great
I can’t edit the font for td_block_video_youtube
Is there a way to do it from the theme panel or does it have to be done via CSS? If so how do I do it?
Would also be great if there was a way to edit the header template and border colours etc. ?
Thank you!
Hello, I have two question:
1- Can I put the title of the block 4 at center alignment?

2- It is possible view the block 10 (only center text) at full width?

The result must be like the next picture:

It doesn’t change anything, the block used was single related posts
Hello,
In the version update, you will add the blocks from the newspaper theme. This theme is very inadequate in blocks. The newspaper has too many blocks.10 Big grids, 10 full big grids, big grid 9 very god block, big grid 10 11 vs….
Now I have another problem. I put the flex 1 block as we have been talking in this thread. But when I put this block on the computer it appears perfectly, but then if I go to the IPHONE mobile, all the text is cut off:
https://www.screencast.com/t/ha1VhGQuMpW4
https://www.screencast.com/t/1efM3lDRNnd3
This only happens with IPHONE mobiles. On the other hand, if I put it on an ANDROID mobile it looks perfectly:
https://www.screencast.com/t/AKRAvNuW
If you hit any category, for example, Soccer looks good on both ANDROID and IPHONE. But if you hit Portada, it only looks good on ANDROID.
I have only touched what I indicate with the arrow of the block so that in the mobile version I see 1 column as in the other categories:
https://www.screencast.com/t/WL3boaFbp2In
I hope you can help me. Thank you.
Hi,
I need help please, i want to hide some post content on mobile devices, so i tried to do it by the Backend Editor but didn’t work for me

Hi,
I am using a plugin which auto block any script/iframe on the website if the user does not give the consent to the cookie policy. However, also the javascript files in the Newsmag/js folder are now blocked.
In order to not block them I would need to add a comment in each js file with a specific keyword.
Now I would like to do that by using the child theme. Is there any way to do that or should I just update the files and then remember to add again the custom line in case of a theme update?
Thanks
Hello,
