If you encounter an error importing demos it could be the memory allocation. Please use this guide to increase the memory allocated to your WordPress and php. https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
If the error is still there, please check your file permissions and blocked files from your host or htaccess. Most of the times a file is being blocked by the security module as the demos need to be grabbed from our servers.

Enter the CSS code you want, it will affect only the grid. This code can be entered in Theme panel->Mobile theme->Custom CSS section.
I have been trying to add a sidebar/ widget area to the home page of the newspaper 8 pre-built page. In the page template settings it says “While using a page builder sidebar settings are not available. To add a sidebar on page use the widgetised sidebar block.”
So I went to the editor and tried adding a widget sidebar to and empty column. It just shows as a narrow red block with no content. Im totally lost here
Hi. I think it would be nice like I had said in another post in this forum to introduce smaller image sizes than 696px in the flex block because the homepage size in Pingdom tools shows the images as having the biggest size. Is this possible?
I don’t think you can without importing the content. When you import without settings, you have to know which modules and blocks they used and the specific settings for those modules and blocks if it is for the custom homepage. The rest of the site will adapt to the demo settings.

I am attempting to use Block 12 on a page to show all of my website posts. All it does is show 10 posts and then re-shows those 10 posts. I have changed the sort order and category filters and no matter what it will show only 10 posts at most and then re-show those 10 posts.
I do not have this issue when switching to a different block, for example block 11 works just fine.

1. That is not possible in the Newspaper theme, this theme has a different design for the mega-menu with sub-categories then the Newsmag theme

2. Those are categories, they’re names will be displayed as you created them. The block ajax filter simply displays them on top of the block you enable it for. You can enter specific category IDs in the filter, to control which ones are displayed

The offset feature its to skip some articles I think, my problem its that in the pagination of the block of homepage I don’t see all the articles of that category, one its missing.
If you see at the menu, it appears, but at the block of non electronic games, pool table its repeated and table football its not showing,

2. Is it possible to abbreviate the displayed ID names only in one block?
For example: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ -> DONT’T MISS All Style hunter Vogue Health & Fitness Travel
But I need: DONT’T MISS All Style Vogue Health & Fit Trip
Because all my 9 categories need to be visible (without the “More” dropdown button)

That is a big grid and those are all articles, all the big grids and blocks will only display articles. That is what these elements are created and designed to do. At the moment the category pages can only be customized in the theme panel

There are plans to change the category page functionality in the future. But the main point is that grids and blocks will only display posts, not banners (ads)

Pages can be created in any way you want, there are many elements in the tagDiv composer and also added by the multi-purpose plugin. On pages you can also place ads, in category pages there is no option at the moment (except ads in the sidebar).

I’d like to make the category tag a red box with white lettering, and move it up to sit half on and half off the bottom of the image. Right now the text is red, with no background, and sitting well below the image. http://jsgay.com/category.png
I’m using td_block 5 on the homepage.
You will have to use CSS I guess. Only the new flex block module (I have seen) has the option to hide the excerpts. Which modules are you using (share your site link)? I can try to provide you with a CSS code to paste in the custom CSS section (I don’t work here btw).
Is there any block matching this type of look?

Really looking for some help here, folks.
I changed the title from “parties” to an appropriate title for the site using the TD Composer. Now the block has it’s custom title but there’s still the “Html code here! Replace this with any non empty text and that’s it” and I’m pretty lost as far as changing it.
Looking at the source, I see where it’s located but it gives me no clue where I can go to edit it. Obviously I did something, somewhere, but I’ve not edited anything framework wise.
Now that I’m looking into this, I’m nervous I will foul something up. So, if possible, please help me out.

I too am having this issue, and I plan to try everything you listed here to see if that helps, but I had another question in regards to this. Does “pre-loading” the blocks use extra resources? I forget the actual wording, but I know on some of my content blocks I have three options, something to the affect of “partial preloading” “full preload” and none. Again, preloading may not be the right wording, but I’m not in front of my computer to be able to check exactly what the options are.

I have some problems with the theme.
· I have 8.5 version and from yesterday I have some problems with the blocks, because I can not change them and I dont have any option in some parts of my website for them, not always, it is a bit strange.
· I have tried to upload it to 8.7, but, when I do that, some items that I have already done dissapear, icons, item of pricing, testimonials, food menu product (I can change border radious but it doesnt work), and others have some problems, so I had to back to the other version.
