Hi,
1. That is not possible. On mobile the same content form desktop will be displayed. The post limit on the blocks can only be set once
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Wq7v6ho10
2. Please use this guide to configure the social counter
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial-2/
Also make sure that the Facebook profile page is public, the counter will not work if the profile page is private or has restrictions. Clear all caching installed after configuring the counter.
Thanks
Hi,
Are the posts belonging to a sub-category of the main category maybe? If a post is under a sub-category of that main category you excluded, it will still show up in the block as a post belonging to a sub-category also belong to the parent category as this is the default implementation of WP.
If this is not the case, please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide a link to your site and wp-admin so we can login and investigate.
Thanks.
Hello,
You will have to add an extra parameter to your block modification as shown here:
https://www.screencast.com/t/wO6pWZkj0gvq
The mapping in td_composer was not present before version 8.0
Thank you!
To access the block settings while using the tagDiv Composer plugin you’ll just have to click on the block area and the block settings window will automatically appear in the tagDiv composer panel on the left. For better accessibility the settings are divided into sections (tabs) like General, Filter, Ajax, Extra or Css.
May I know where is the block area? Which page is this on?
Thanks.
One more question, what would I trade-off is I were to use Simion’s solution?
To be precise, if Simion’s solution is deployed what are the “blocks” or “elements” that I cannot deploy?
Please clarify.
Thanks.
Hello,
Please check the grid settings again. This guide should help: https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-tutorial/
You maybe used a filter that does not bring up any results.
Thanks.
Hi,
That elements displays the number of comments that the post has, a comment count. It can be disabled in the theme panel for blocks and modules
– https://www.screencast.com/t/RVoqZppx
As well as the post page if you want
– https://www.screencast.com/t/3uOyFrqp6Gy9
Thanks
Hi,
If the theme system status is according to the documentation there should not be any problems
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Please check in the theme panel while saving settings, if there are any errors in the browser console. Press F12 to bring up the inspector window and then open the console
– https://www.screencast.com/t/dMlpgvBdo
Check if there are any errors in this console. The admin ajax process could be blocked by the server, because of the multiple requests that it makes. In this case you can contact the hosting provider and explain the situation or provide a screenshot with the error.
They should be able to fix it.
Please let us know the results.
Thanks
Hi,
1. I have inspected your website, but there is no problem like you mention with the block
– https://www.screencast.com/t/ONFPAc8g3Vff
The block is displaying properly form what I can see.
2. The version of Visual composer provided in the latest theme package is 5.2. We will provide updates for this plugin within a theme update. Each plugin update will be tested before, to ensure full compatibility. Do not update the plugin if you have a separate purchased licence for Visual composer, this could create problems.
Thanks
Hello,
I have some problems:
1. Is it possible to limit the post’s number into the “content block 1” esclusively on mobile screen. I would like to show 4 posts on desktop and 2 posts on mobile.
2. I have installed the social counter but it doesn’t work for Facebook, it doesn’t show the fans.
How can I resolve these problems?
Thank you in advance!
I’m in the same situation. Trying to migrate from Visual Composer to TagDiv Composer but I can’t do that without my custom modules and blocks.
+1
Hello,
I have quite a few custom blocks/modules/header/footer/topbars setup currently via a plugin. They display and are able to be used perfectly in Visual Composer. When I try to make a new page with the TD Composer though, none of the blocks are visible/able to be selected from the add elements section. Is this by design? Are there updates that need to be made to the TD Composer still? If I was able to select my custom blocks I could move away from Visual Composer. Please Advise! Thanks!
I know there is a CSS workaround to hide categories from Popular Categories widget, but I think exclude option (same logic as in Module blocks settings) would be better and more user-friendly
Thanks

Hi,
I think this is somewhat of a misunderstanding. If you would like to display a smaller font size on mobile for the article titles in the big grid, use something like this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/V8Y2HOsw6
Please remove the previous code related to the big grid (leave the one for the block), and enter this one in Theme panel->Advanced CSS in the phones section
.td_block_big_grid_12 .entry-title a {
font-size: 12px;
}
Please let us know if this is a solution in this matter.
Thanks
I’ve come out with a solution for the 404 page, even not perfect, because both sections have to use the same menu (and I in fact use 2 different for my needs). Anyway, it seems that I can’t solve the issue myself in a clean way and without a plugin, so I had to installed a wordpress plugin (404page – your smart custom 404 error page), which now handles the 404 page for the magazine and for the shop(woocommerce) section. It uses the same 404 page (custom built using visual composer) for both sections of the site.
Unfortunately there’s an issue with displaying of the products, which are part of its design. You can see here: bit.ly/2wjOiIH
The page contains 1 row which includes a text block and products.
Can you help me to fix this?
Great, thank you. It works perfectly for the block, but the big grid font size is still unchanged?
Unfortunately there is no tested and recommended way of adding it.
Our theme does not support blocks inside posts. People still use them but keep in mind that they have not been tested and it could provide errors.
Thanks.
Hi,
You can choose from the available widgets. A specific widget to display related articles does not exist. On the post page there is a related articles section displayed
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/related-articles/
Please note that you can create any number of sidebars you wish. A sidebar can be set manually on a post
– https://www.screencast.com/t/k4GzJXMc
Or by setting a primary category, all the posts that have a primary category set will display the sidebar from that category
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/primary-category/
So you could either create sidebars for each post or set a primary category. In the sidebar for example you can insert a block and filter the content to display posts from the category you choose and sort them as well
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
Thanks
Hi,
Maybe this is a misunderstanding. The pages that need to be recreated are pages created with Visual composer. If you had any previous pages like that, these will have to be recreated.
If you installed a demo, you do not have to make any modification to the pages. Simply install the demo and customize it further or begin adding your own content if you installed it with content (logos, categories, menus etc)
Here is a tutorial about block settings that is very useful
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-tutorial/
Please let us know if you have any further questions or need help at any point.
Thanks
OK, I understand but how can I put block inside the article? Is there any solution?
Hello,
On mobile the fonts can only be changed through css so please use this code to change them:
for the big grid:
@media (max-width: 767px){
.td-big-grid-post.td-big-thumb .td-big-grid-meta .entry-title, .td-big-grid-post.td-medium-thumb .td-big-grid-meta .entry-title {
font-size: 16px;
}
}
for block 11:
@media (max-width: 767px){
.td_module_10 .entry-title {
font-size: 16px;
}
}
Thank you!
Hello,
Sorry but this is not possible. You cannot split the same block into sections. A block is considered a whole element. If you want such filtering you will need to create multiple blocks. You cannot select a different category for each module of a block in particular.
Thanks
Hi,
There are many ways in which you could improve the design. Using the tagDiv composer you can achieve many layouts, you just need to have some inspiration or create unique designs
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
These are all the blocks that are available with the composer (use selection on the right)
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-1/
These are all the Big grids and Full big grids, each with many styles available
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/big-grid-1/
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/full-big-grid-1/
The rows and blocks can have background colors or images, the columns as well
– https://www.screencast.com/t/A9ZriAPyjtWv
Use the theme color settings to add some color to the website
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-colors-introduction/
If there is no setting for what you need, create your own custom code and use in in the theme panel
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/
Here you can see some showcases of other websites, each with their own

Hello,
Every block element has a random sort order so it changes the content shown each time, not matter if it’s a standard post or video post. Please check this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
Thanks
