Sounds like a caching issue; be sure to turn *off* all your caching, clear all your CDN settings if using them; clear browser cache completely, etc.
nice ! it worked now. Two questions:
I dont have any cache plugin in my website but i use cloudflare. Should i enable the ajax view count?
I enable the 7 days post view but in the blocks its showing very old ones. Is there a way to reset the counts so i can start to see the most popular of the week ?

Sounds stupid, but you might try deactivating then reactivating the Yoast plugin; resave your permalinks, clear all your cache on server/CDN, etc.

@charly_vk tienes un server response de 1 segundo, es decir anda lento el servidor. Veo que tienes zencache, sin embargo no está activado la expiración para algunos tipos de archivo http://gtmetrix.com/reports/www.chicasfitness.com/w07wTjMa (leverage browser caching) . esto es sencillo si tienes apache solo tendrás que agregar unas líneas al htacces, si tienes nginx lo haces en el nginx.conf. Revisa en google como establecer los tiempos de expiración según tengas apache o nginx,

Para el css puedes usar cualquier plugin que te permita diferir el css, solo excluye el style.css

If you use child theme please switch to the main theme, clear cache and check if you still have this issue.
We know about this issue with child theme, please use main theme until we release an update to fix it(in few days a new version will be release with some fixes). Please note that it pulls from ALL the posts the most accessed in the last 7 days NOT the posts that are published in the last 7 days. Also please test this without using caches as the last days 7 post count works based on post views so if you use cache this might not work properly.
Also test it by editing a post and take a look at custom fields: http://screencast.com/t/mSiJvu61tGj then refresh the post a few times and check if it increments. If those values changes when the post is viewed then 7 day sort should work properly.

although it seems to work for you, i still see the same errors of the social counter. I think the problem is from the W3 Total Cache because i’ve removed it and the social counter worked, and than i’ve reactivated and the error was present.
1. How can i deal with this because i’ve cleared the page cache…
2. The instagram line shows that i have no followers, why isn’t showing the real number?

Please try this also without any plugins active, leave just Visual Composer active, clear cache and purge your files if you use CDN and see if you have the same issue with infinite load. Let me know!

Thank you. The site is now running on the new setup. Love all the great new features in version 6.
So, if you are running through CloudFlare, or any other CDN optimisation service, purge all cache, suspend the account then clear all your browser caches before you begin the upgrade. After your new site is up make sure all is working exactly as expected then turn the cache back on.

You need to MINIFY and COMBINE html, css and js code. I dont like w3 because have too many options, but you can try minify option on w3 :-P. Just exclude style.css
Third (server response)
You are on Nginx and nginx works better whit other cache plugins like WP-FFPC instead of w3, just need to install memcached latest version on your server.

Just bought Newspaper 6 version. Can I incorporate Sign-up Landing Page and include Newsletter function into the template?
What sort of plug-in do I need to install for those function? Please advice.
Whenever audience type my domain name, it will redirect to Sign-up page/ Login page. and there will be a checkbox for them to subscribe Newsletter.
If new user, they have to sign-up and if it is existing user (cache/ cookies to store credential), they will be redirected to Newspaper 6 landing page.

Always delete/clear cache before updates.
Always delete old theme folder and child theme folder for new theme; upload new folders to completely replace old ones. Delete old plugins completely, install new folders. NEVER OVER-WRITE UPDATES.
Always clear cache after making changes to core files when they are working; otherwise you are loading mix of old/new from server and things break.
If you’re unable to do anything — try switching to default theme, try disabling all plugins entirely; try resetting the plugins folder (see my “how to move to new theme” for a best practice way to update/upgrade and recover from fail).
Only put stuff at end of your functions.php in MAIN folder, NOT child theme. Only add things you know what they are — most being self-evident. If site crashes when loading edited functions.php, then roll back to your backup. If site won’t recover from that, then it’s 100% a caching problem.
Often for testing via FTP, I do
a) all caching and mod_pagespeed disabled
b) rename functions.php to xfunctions.php
c) drag over new functions.php
d) test site
e) if site won’t load; via ftp with window still open, just rename xfunctions.php to functions.php and it replaces the bad functions.php — total time 20-30 seconds.
Not sure any of that helps, but maybe some pointers in some direction.

I found the fix for this problem.
With W3 Total Cache only minify html&xml and use another plugin to minify css and JSS (Better WordPress Minify) with both plugins the images runs ok with lazy load :).
I reach an 91 in google page speed 🙂
