Hi,
First of all please make sure this is still happening without any plugins active and if you use any cdn or external cache which could deliver older versions for some of the files please make sure you purge files and empty cache.
This could also come from a bad update (maybe some files were not uploaded properly) so try to reupload the theme and see if the issue is still there.
Please let me know if you still have issue after this.
Thanks

Hi,
I have checked your site and found that the script it’s there but it’s not being executed. I believe you are using a plugin which prevents it form being executed: http://screencast.com/t/6bhIIqRXv0yp
I have also tested this and found no issues with it.
Please make sure you disable all plugins and empty cache and try this again.
Please let me know what you find.
Thanks
So, the problem is not about browser. I disabled cloudflare & W3total then purged the cache. No change.
Yes. W3 total cache. But I added my random page url to this list: Never cache the following pages.
By the way, when I log in wp-admin area, problem solves.
Hi,
Please make sure that this isn’t caused by a plugin by deactivating all of them leaving active only the Visual Composer plugin then empty cache and purge files if you use nay cache or CDN services and check for this again.
Please let me know if this helps!
Thanks
Hi,
I have checked your site and didn’t found any issues with this: http://screencast.com/t/ZlbhKDmM
Please make sure you empty your cache and also sue Ctrl+F5 to empty your browser cache and redownload the page.
Thanks
Hi,
Thanks TheMediumUTM!
@papilleclandestine I’ve checked your page source and found that somehow all theme’s css is loaded within each page which could cause issues.
My guess is that this is a plugin settings which reads theme’s css and loads in into the page.
First please make sure you deactivate all plugins leaving only Visual Composer plugin active, after this empty your cache and purge files and check again.
Also please make sure you use this page speed guide right and use the tagDiv Speed Booster plugin to move the css and js at the bottom of the page avoiding the page render blocking. We only recommend this to advanced users so if you don’t have any php knowledge you should get some to help you with this.
Hope this helps! Please let me know!
Thanks
Hi,
Yes, we already have your request on our feature requests list and we will consider it for future updates but we have to be very careful on what we pick to implement as we have over 160 feature requests, if more people will ask for it we will do it.
Regarding your second issue I have tried to replicate it using theme’s latest version (4.5) and found no issues. What theme version do you use? Please make sure you update your theme to the latest version and also try to check for this without using minified js/css/html and also remember to empty cache.
Please let me know if this helps!
Thanks
Thank you very much! It seems a plugin was indeed preventing the dropdown menu to appear…
Now I’d like to have more than 5 sub-categories appearing… I changed the td_menu.php show_child_cat parameter to 15 but it doesn’t have any impact. I cleared my cache but nothing seems to change.
Any clue?
Thanks again!
Sam
hello,
we’ve switched from our old blog to newspaper theme on monday, and it’s since then that we have a daily alert from our hosting service, and the websit was put offline twice.
first we thought it was a bandwidth issue, so we have started using a cdn. today same problem, with a message from the hosting helpdesk that “the website is overloading the disk” (and thus an invitation to upgrade to a sata server, more expensive of course).
we don’t understand what’s happening:
– the hosting plan is a normal one, not the cheapest, with a good company, suitable for our dimension
– we’ve made almost all the suggested pagespeed optimisation (still have to install tagdiv plugin), site is cached and compressed, with a 93/100 pingdom tool rate and 57-75/100 page speed
– there’s a cdn working
is this an issue with the template? or is it a problem of our hosting? or maybe we’ve mad some errors somewhere?
thank you if you can help us!
We have noticed that our site slows after 300 views/minute on google analytics. When the theme was 4.3 we were able to get away with using the setting minify in W3 Total Cache. We were limited before with our server and 1000-1100 views a minute. But in 4.5 we were getting all sorts of errors so we turned this off as suggested by tagdiv team. Now the limit is about 300 and the site begins to really slow down. We are on a dedicated server, run w3 total cache and have a CDN. Is there something we are missing? We are looking now at other themes as this is what our hosting company is recommending. Thank you for your help
Hi,
1. First of all if you have set it right the drop-down should be there so double check that you have done this right and disable all plugins laving just the visual composer active this is to make sure you don’t have another plugin which could cause this. Also make sure you empty your cache if you use any.
If this doesn’t helps please let us know about it and provide more details and also your site’s URL so we can inspect this.
2. You can change the appearance of the mega menu is to change the theme accent color from theme panel > theme color or for the font you can do it form theme panel >custom typography section: http://screencast.com/t/MYr8tWhkDYY1
Another way would be to do it via custom css an add it in theme panel > custom css filed.
Hope this helps!
Thanks
Hi,
Could you be more specific about this as I have also tested this plugin to recreate and check this conflicts with their editor but didn’t found any issues with this, could you please provide more details about this.
I use the latest theme version and just the recommended theme plugins, this could happen due to some other plugins so you might wanna check for this without any plugins active and also remember to empty cache before you check if you use any.
Please let me know!
Thanks

Hi,
Thanks Christopher!
@Tom I have checked your site and found that all features that use ajax don’t work. I also found some js errors in your console which seem to come from a minified version of and could generate this issue.
First thing you should do is to disable all plugins leaving only the ones essential running then empty all cache files, purge files if using any CDN services and check for this again.
Here you have a screens of the errors I found in console on your homepage: http://screencast.com/t/cYPYosgR
Not sure that this is the blame for your slowly loading site but first you should make sure that aren’t and eliminate them.
On the other hand, I have check your site’s page speed using Google’s PageSpeed Insights and according to it you need to optimize your images: http://screencast.com/t/Wfn2Vq7K
You should check it yourself and also use this guide to find how you could make your site faster.
You can also find more info about page speed and how you can optimize your images following this tread: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/pagespeed/
Hope this helps!
Thanks
hi,
Yes, unfortunately the speed booster plugin may cause conflicts in use with other plugins so empty all cache and also purge files if you use CDN, disable all plugins leaving active only the speedbooster plugin and visual composer and check for this again.
You can check your console on homepage to see the 403 error: http://screencast.com/t/0wm6n4TSUd
You should also consider updating your theme to the latest version 4.5 and check again for this.
Hope this helps! Please let me know.
Thanks

Hi,
@pixus
You have this js errors in your console when navigating to the checkout page: http://screencast.com/t/XgjCtxmt
Looks like some images loaded within the theme files are treated as insecure and I see that you use some minified js so please make sure you disable all plugins and also empty cache and purge files if you use any CDN services.
Thanks
Hi,
Can you please send a link to a post that has this issue with the feed? I’d like to inspect this. I have also searched your site but didn’t found any with this issue: http://screencast.com/t/WoEeA2qLoT
I have also noticed some js errors so you should make sure that this is not due to some plugins conflict by deactivating all and emptying cache/purge files and check again.
Please let me know if this helps!
Thanks

Hi,
I have checked your site and found that is due to some js error you have in your console: http://screencast.com/t/UNaDEzInViu

Hi,
First please make sure that you use them right: http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Permalinks
Secondly please check without any plugins active and also consider to empty cache and purge files if you use any cache or CDN plugins.
Please also note that this is not theme related as using a custom permalink structure is an WordPress feature.
Let me now if this helps!
Thanks
Hi,
The theme uses WordPress date function, I suspect this issue may be caused by a plugin. Try to disable all plugins enabling just WPBakery Visual Composer, empty cache, purge files if you use any CDN or cache plugins and wait for a few days to see if this still happens.
Hope this helps!
Thanks
Hi,
Make sure you empty cache as I said before the since version 4.5 the css generated by theme is saved in the database so it could be due to cache. Please make sure you also empty your browser cache use (ctrl+f5).
Also consider resaving your settings then check again.
Thanks
