@ncalex it’s a theme update or something, not a cache issue
Hi everyone,
I’m using the Newspaper theme with the Video Playlist element and a valid YouTube API key.
Cache is enabled (set to 9h and 12h refresh for two different playlists), but according to Google Cloud Console thousands of API calls are still made within just a few hours.
Most requests come from videos.list (video details). This quickly exceeds the daily quota (10,000 points/day) and the playlist stops working.
Has anyone else experienced this issue?
Does the cache only store playlist IDs and not the video details? Any workaround or fix would be really helpful.
Thanks!
Hi there,
My problem got solved by updating the Rank Math plugin (free version).
Before doing this, I cleared the cache dozens of times, disabled the cache plugin, but without success.
I hope the problem will be solved for others too!
Thank you!
Hi,
1. Please use tagDiv Composer and select the element you want to adjust and set the margin left or right (use negative values to set it closer to the edge, for example, -16).
2. If all elements are under the same column, then you can use the column settings under layout tab https://i.imgur.com/SmfprgG.png
For the image situation, please do a test using only tagDiv plugins without any cache or optimization to see if the problem persists; it is possible that it is a plugin conflict or an option from an optimization or cache plugin that is interfering.
Hi,
This can be a situation caused by some extra plugins. Please do a test using only tagDiv plugins and make sure no cache is applied. If it is working, it can be related to some settings from a plugin and possibly optimize or cache the plugin. Please clear the cache and see if the problem persists. If it persists, please disable the cache plugin and see if the problem persists, is resolved, then enable the cache plugin and check the settings one by one. It is possible to be related to the cache option for the unused css.
Hi,
I just checked your website, and now the situation seems to have been resolved – https://i.imgur.com/gyAAxF2.png I believe it was related to some cache settings.
Hi for the error in showing Big Grid on website. This can be a situation caused by some settings from the cache plugin, please clear the cache and see if the problem persists. Hi team, suddenly our Home page is not showing grids/tiles/blocks which are placed on the upper side. Tried clearing cache, updating template, etc. Please Help.
Hi,
If the staging is on that which is already displaying that the key is assigned to it, then there will be no problem if you activate the theme again with the license key. The same key can be used on live and staging – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-6-how-to-activate-the-theme/
Also, it is possible to be something related to cache and object cache.
Thank you!
Hi,
This can be a cache situation, when a mobile page or the mobile theme plugin is used, you need to have a cache plugin that can create a mobile cache separate from the desktop version. Please try when you are connected and see if the problem persists.

Critical Issue: 404 “Page Not Found” Error on Custom Post Type Pages After WordPress Update
I am writing to report a critical issue on my website, kedaibukitrhema.com, which uses your Prebuilt Cali Sight Pro theme.
After recently updating to the latest version of WordPress, all the pages under my custom post type “My Tourism” are now showing a 404 “Page Not Found” error on the live site. For example, a page that should be accessible is now broken.
I have confirmed from my WordPress dashboard that all the posts and data for “My Tourism” still exist. I can see and edit all the content perfectly on the backend. The issue is only on the front-end; the URLs are not working anymore.
I have also checked that the necessary plugins are active, specifically the Cali Sight Plugin (v1.0.0) which manages the custom post types, and Advanced Custom Fields (v6.5.0).
So far, I have tried the following steps without success:
Clearing all my website and server cache multiple times.
Could you please provide guidance on how to fix this? Is this a known compatibility issue with the new WordPress version?
For your reference, I have attached three screenshots:
1. Plugin Active: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ABfR-LRayivwJyda1WAtKqq3e7nc5-WX/view?usp=drive_link
2. Article Update: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1FMFrw0u6xLD4KT88N8pPDk4LqbRLDIvj/view?usp=drive_link
3. Error 404 : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1FMFrw0u6xLD4KT88N8pPDk4LqbRLDIvj/view?usp=drive_link
The 404 error on the front-end.
The backend editor showing the page exists and is published.
The list of my active plugins.
Thank you for your time and assistance.
Best regards,
Hi Antonio,
If you’re using LightSpeed Cache (LSCWP) in WordPress, you can ensure this is applied by:
Going to LiteSpeed Cache → Page Optimization → Media Settings.
Checking whether Lazy Load Images is on. If so, exclude your image/hero/LCP image from lazy loading.
Also, you can try the mentioned plugin to see if you get better results!
Hi Calin,
we have the same problem, only for mobile. We use LightSpeedCache. How we can solve the problem?
the site is http://www.sport24h.it.
Thank
Yes, only with the tagDiv plugin. I found this map: 30yearstigernewsshow.com/wp-includes/class-wp-object-cache.php
Do I need something to change there?
Hi,
This situation appears when it is used only with the tagDiv plugins? Maybe you have an object cache apply https://forum.tagdiv.com/general-options-may-interfere-newspaper-theme/ https://i.imgur.com/UTKhvAk.png
Thank you!
Hi,
First, what you should do is to test it logged in so no cache is applied and see if the situation persists.
The next step will be to use only tagDiv plugins to see if the problem persists.
IF the problem is still there, what you can do is to try a different template for the search results – https://i.imgur.com/gO5mbA0.png or try to regenerate the thumbs https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/
Thank you!
It’s been a few weeks since we’ve noticed there is a severe slowdown (up to 3 minutes) every time we post a new entry to our website. We’ve installed wp-cache, tried to optimize almost every aspect of the website, and it’s still slow, but only when posting, the rest of the site is fine. After disabling all plugins, the website ran and posted fast; when re-enabling the tagdiv Composer and Could Library plugins, the performance issues came back. Is there a way to fix this?
HI,
Most of the time, those were the settings interfering with the theme, but if the problem persists, then I think you’ll need to manually check the settings until you find those that are causing this situation.
The layout shift is usually caused by Remove Unused CSS or JS Delay/Defer in LiteSpeed. Try this :LiteSpeed → Page Optimization → CSS
– Set Remove Unused CSS = OFF
– Use Optimize CSS Delivery = ON (Critical CSS per URL)
– Purge CCSS/UCSS.
LiteSpeed → Page Optimization → JS
– Turn Delay JS = OFF (or exclude Newspaper/tagDiv scripts like /wp-content/themes/Newspaper/, td-*).
– Turn Load JS Deferred = OFF if issue persists.
LiteSpeed → Page Optimization → Media
– Localize Google Fonts = ON, Font Display = Swap, and preload main fonts.
LiteSpeed → Cache → Mobile
– Enable Cache Mobile + Separate Mobile View.
Then clear all caches and retest. Most Newspaper sites fix the shift by disabling UCSS and excluding tagDiv JS from Delay/Defer.
Thank you!
Hi,
There are a few recommendations:
I will recommend using a good cache plugin, if you have the possibility WP Rocket> will be the best, if not, Litespeed is one of the free cache plugins that provide the best results in the free version. Also, we recommend using Cloudflare (CDN), which will help you prevent attackers from getting on your website and also has options to improve the speed. The free version can be used; there is no need for a premium account.
For accessibility, you should check the H elements to be in order on your website, for example, there are 3 H1 and no H2 – https://i.imgur.com/co6Twat.png H1, is usually coming from logo and if you have the logo on the header, footer and mobile header, for the start there are 3 H1, what can be done is tu use tagDiv Composer, select the footer logo and also the mobile logo and make sure taht the option to disable H1 is checked – https://i.imgur.com/8yxrxU9.png – https://i.imgur.com/c7c0DPU.png
Thank you!
Calin,
2. The tagDiv Mobile Theme plugin has been enabled, you may have seen a cached version of the Forum. Please refresh the page. After updating F5, it becomes like this: https://skr.sh/sXCnVhprM3Z
The question was how, with the tagDiv Mobile Theme plugin enabled, to make a separate site category with a Forum. https://dev.giport.ru/forum did you use the adaptive version of the site, not the mobile “tagDiv Mobile Theme”?
But the news categories https://dev.giport.ru/news and articles https://dev.giport.ru/sovet We continued to work through the tagDiv Mobile Theme.
I am not including the AMP version.
=====================
Hello,
I disabled the following options in LiteSpeed Cache → Page Optimization as suggested:
Load CSS Asynchronously → Disabled
Combine CSS → Disabled
Combine JS → Disabled
Then I cleared all caches (LiteSpeed + browser), but the issue still persists. The page layout shifts to the left when loading (see attached screenshot).
Is there any other setting or solution I should try to fix this?
Thank you!
Hi,
To fix the layout shift caused by LiteSpeed Cache:
Go to LiteSpeed Cache > Page Optimization, then try the following:
– Disable “Load CSS Asynchronously”
– Disable “Combine CSS” and “Combine JS”
– Clear all caches (LiteSpeed + browser)
Test after each change. If the issue disappears, you’ve found the conflicting setting.
Thank you!
Hello,
On my WordPress site (Newspaper theme), when I activate the LiteSpeed Cache plugin, the page layout shifts to the left. When I disable the plugin, the problem disappears completely, but then the site speed decreases.
I tried changing some CSS/JS optimization settings (CSS combine, async load, etc.) but couldn’t find the exact solution.
I’m sure the issue is related to LiteSpeed optimization settings, but I don’t know which setting I should adjust.
I’m sharing the screenshot in the attachment.
Has anyone faced this problem before? Which LiteSpeed settings should I modify to fix this issue?
Thanks in advance.
