Hi,
It appears that you have a plugin installed that is interfering with the mobile version. I think this is the AMP plugin.
Please disable the amp plugin, clear all cache, and the problem will be resolved.
Thank you!

Hi,
There will be a need to make the improvements for the list provided on the Pagespeed test.
Also, for speed, if you are using the WP Super Cache plugin, make sure that you also use the Autoptimize plugin and CDN . There are also other cache plugins that can be used to do both caching and optimizing the site, so there is no need to have 2 plugins. For example, one of the best is WP Rocket, but you can also use free plugins like WP Optimizer and Litespeed.
Thank you!

Hello, I’m having a serious issue inserting code into the <head> of my website using the Newspaper theme. I’ve tried multiple methods and none of them are working.
I need to insert the Google AdSense script (adsbygoogle.js) into the <head> to verify my domain, but the code does NOT appear in the page source using any method.

I am always checking using “View Page Source” (not inspector).
I have also tried using external plugins, completely disabling LiteSpeed Cache and Wordfence, and manually integrating the code directly into the theme files (functions.php and header.php). However, the script still does NOT appear in the page source under any circumstances.

I would appreciate guidance on:

the correct method to insert code into <head> in Newspaper
or if there are any known limitations with AdSense or external scripts

Thank you in advance.

Hello,

I am using the Newspaper theme with Single Post Featured Image and Featured Video enabled as a pop-up.

The video pop-up works correctly on desktop, but on iOS mobile devices (Safari), the pop-up opens and the video remains blank or stuck on loading.

This happens with both self-hosted MP4 videos and YouTube embeds.

I have already:

* Disabled Lazy Video on Mobile
* Disabled Sticky Video
* Cleared all caches (LiteSpeed and Cloudflare)
* Excluded tagDiv and popup scripts from delayed/deferred JS

Example:
https://thebilken.com/u-s-marines-seize-iranian-flagged-vessel/

Could you please check if this is a known issue with mobile popup video and provide a fix?

Thank you.

Hello! Thanks for your reply. I’m using WP Super Cache, but I couldn’t find where to set up device-based caching.
Could you guide me?

Hi,

Based on the screenshots you provided, it appears that you are using the tagDiv Mobile Theme plugin. In this case, it’s important to maintain separate caches for desktop and mobile devices. Please make sure that your caching plugin supports device-based caching, so it can generate distinct cache versions for desktop and mobile.

If you’re using the free version of Cloudflare, this functionality is not included by default. To enable separate caching for mobile and desktop in Cloudflare, you can configure Cache by Device Type using Cache Rules, or enable it through Automatic Platform Optimization (APO) for WordPress.

Ooops… Error 404 Sorry, but the page you are looking for doesn’t exist.

THIS IS the first time I have this kind of problem, I have 3 or 4 licenses working on different hosting, this is the first one on Godaddy.com and it is showing a 404 error.

The website I am building is https://newyorklatino.com

I am only using the recommended plugins to see if the problem is caused by a plugin
I cleaned the cache, the browser history, reset the router, changed the browser and the error is the same.

Just let me know if you need access to the site to see what’s wrong.

Hi,
From your screenhost, I see that you are using mobile templates, which are normally used only when you want the mobile version of the website to be different from the desktop version. If you want to be as on a desktop, then is no need of that, the theme has a responsive version, which can be adjusted with tagDiv Composer by selecting the mobile viewport – https://prnt.sc/DlK-25TLvJL7
Also, using a mobile page template, you must be sure that the cache plugin used can offer a separate cache for mobile and desktop, otherwise, it will deliver the wrong version on the wrong device.
Related to the menu, those can be created under Appearance> Menu and https://forum.tagdiv.com/main-menu/ and should be set on the menu elements with tagDiv Composer, by selecting the desired menu https://prnt.sc/3qIFiPoJkPz9https://prnt.sc/Y2qo5NAGV5W7

Hi Vladimir,
To have the same layout on mobile as on desktop, please check your plugin and see if you are using the tagDiv mobile theme plugin and/or amp plugin, if you have any one of them, please disable those plugins, clear the cache and check again, the same information and layout from desktop will also be used on mobile.
Thank you!

This looks like a frontend issue, not a content or backup problem.

Since the error appears on all pages, persists after restoring backups, and keeps multiplying when the page is left open, it’s very likely caused by JavaScript or caching interfering with the builder.

Please try the following steps:

Disable all JS/CSS optimization:
Turn OFF JS Combine
Turn OFF JS Delay/Defer
Turn OFF CSS Combine
If Cloudflare is active:
Disable Rocket Loader
Purge all Cloudflare cache
Clear all caches:
LiteSpeed Cache
Server cache (Hostinger)
Browser cache
Test the site in Incognito mode
Temporarily disable all plugins except the theme and see if the issue persists

This should help identify whether it’s caused by caching or a plugin conflict, which is the most likely reason for this error.

Hi,
Do you use the mobile theme plugin or the mobile page? If so, then you need to have a separate cache on desktop and mobile, using the free version of Cloudflare doesn’t include this option. To separate mobile and desktop cache in Cloudflare, enable Cache by Device Type within Cache Rules or via Automatic Platform Optimization (APO) for WordPress.

Hi,
This kind of issue usually occurs when a different version of the site is used for mobile (as in your situation), and the caching system is not configured to deliver separate caches for desktop and mobile.
To resolve this, you need to check all layers of caching you have:
– the caching plugin on your site
– server side caching
– cloudflare or any other CDN cache
Make sure that each layer is set up to deliver a separate cache for the mobile version of the site. Once this is configured correctly, the mobile specific template should load consistently.
Thank you!

Yes, the issue remains when cache for logged in users off and CDN is in development mode as well. I’ve created an admin and sent you guys the credentials.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Does the issue still persist when you are logged in and no cache is applied?
If so, please create a backup of your website and contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com, providing temporary WP-admin access so we can investigate further.
Thank you!

Hi,
From your description, it sounds like the issue occurs during theme activation, where it continues to appear as unregistered even after completing the activation process. This is most likely caused by backend caching.
I recommend clearing all caches and temporarily disabling any caching mechanisms until the theme is successfully activated.
If the issue persists, please reach out to us at contact@tagdiv.com and include your WordPress admin access along with the license key. Our team will review the situation and assist you as soon as possible.
Thank you!

Thank you for your response.
I don’t know why this happened since nobody touched the cache plugin but thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Hi,
I just purchased your theme (Newspaper) yesterday, and have generally had no problem setting it up.
However, I’m having a somewhat serious issue where your own ads show up no matter what, even though I’ve disabled all ads in the Theme Panel, as well as gone over the page (front page, posts, etc.) and there are no ad blocks on those pages.

I should add that I’m working on the template NewsWeek.

I’ve been stumped by this for 2 days now, and feel like there are no options I haven’t gone over. I’ve double and triple checked that all ads are disabled (I don’t run any ads) in the Theme Panel under ads. All the way down, all disabled, for everyone. I’ve checked the individual pages as well, and there are no ad blocks. I’ve cleared the cache several times.

But your ads linking to themeforest keep being there. What am I doing wrong here?

Hello,
I am experiencing an issue with the TagDiv Composer integration in the article editor.
Environment:

WordPress Version: 6.7.2
Newspaper Theme Version: 12.7.5
TagDiv Composer Version: 5.4.4

Problem:
The “Edit with TagDiv Composer” button does not appear in the admin toolbar when editing articles. Additionally, the “TagDiv Post Options” panel is completely missing from the Gutenberg sidebar. This means I cannot access post-specific settings such as labels, post options or individual layouts for articles.
Already tried:

Deactivated and reactivated TagDiv Composer plugin
Cleared browser cache
Downgraded WordPress from 6.9.4 to 6.7.2
Checked that TagDiv Composer is active in the plugin list

Additional info:
The TagDiv Composer works correctly for page/homepage building. The issue only affects individual post/article editing. All articles were created in Gutenberg.
Please advise on how to resolve this issue.
Thank you in advance.

Hi,
You can use any cache plugin you like; it is not necessary to use WP Super Cache. Just make sure that you find the right settings for the cache plugin you have used.

Hi marcnyc,
Your problem is not even related to the theme is related to the cache settings you have (you are using lietspeed check the css and js settings).
Your website with cache, is looking like this https://prnt.sc/CrX2H9yjpeMv. Without the cache is looking correct – https://prnt.sc/QtYw86mm4q99

Hello, I don’t know how to fix this but my theme at chaindlk.com appears completely broken when accessed from the public side, but it looks when I am logged in as admin.
I have of course opened the theme in a new private browser window to make sure I am not seeing a cached version.
I checked on both Safari and Chrome.
I’ve also updated to the last version of Newspaper and tagDiv composer and I’ve deactivated both and re-activated both.
I’m at a loss.
Can somebody please tell me how I can troubleshoot this?
