Hello,
I have the latest update of the theme, but my Instagram Footer Section is empty.
I already clean the cache of the website, disable and activated the option in the theme panel and everything is empty, no posts, nothing, only the “title.”

Hi, my twitter counter is not updating – it says 14 when there should be 22.
See: https://www.thesilverlife.com
I’ve updated the latest Newspaper version to 8.7.5 and using social counter 4.4. Caches emptied, no change to the count.
I also get a 502 Bad Gateway error whenever I try to use the TagDiv Composer.
Thank you,
Wizard247
Hi Bogdan,
I have upgraded the newspaper theme from 8.1 to 8.7.5 version and the instagram footer section have disappeared; no pictures are displayed. Please check https://andreeachinesefood.ro/ bottom page.
On another hand I have installed a cache plugin and I have cleaned the WP cache like you have indicated on another post but with no result. ( I have cleaned the browser cache too )
I don’t have the 8.7.4 theme package to test it. What do I need to do in order to fix the footer instagram section?
Thank you,
Andreea
Hello,
I have 2 copies of your theme for my two sites, and I am having the same issue for both of them.
In order to do the upgrade to the latest version, I have deleted the plugins and deleted the Newspaper theme, and uploaded the new versions that you have provided in the latest update. My homepage shows up as blank? I have flushed the cache and tried several times.
This is the website running on the previous version: http://www.luminousmom.com
Im wondering if this is a visual composer thing? Because I used visual composer when I first created these pages??
At least I know it’s not something specific to me. I read some other threads. Deleted TagDiv plugin, reinstalled, cleared the cache, but nothing changed.
Try to re-install the latest theme by FTP
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Remove and delete the composer, install it again from the theme plugins panel
– https://www.screencast.com/t/MAtStP1KDdH1
Increase the memory more if possible, that could be insufficient. Clear the cache and purge CDN files if you use it. Let us know.
Hello evilspyboy,
Please try to edit your homepage again and check if you have added such a custom title to your counter section. I have tested on my side and it seems to work as expected. Also, try to add again that element, clear all the caches and check the results. You can make some test to make a new page and add this element with TD Composer and see the results. In both cases, the custom title should work as properly.
Thanks for the message!

use wp rocket cache. I tried to put WP Super Cache but it did not help
tagDiv Composer not active:

tagDiv Composer active 1 min:

website https://apkgamezone.com/
The most recommended update method is by FTP, please try to reinstall the theme
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Then please deactivate the tagDiv composer and install it again from here
– https://www.screencast.com/t/r2n8DZ94
The multi-purpose plugin is no longer required, it is included in the tagDiv composer.
That error is displayed when the page you are editing is not created with the tagDiv composer or in which you entered a custom code. Try the composer on a new page and see if the same error is displayed.
It could also be displayed when the super cache is installed and not configured as mentioned here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Let us know the results.
Hi,
You should try using the !important tag to give more priority to your code and also, clear all the caches before checking the results.
Thanks.
Hi,
That would be just one of the problems. Try to use the header search function, related articles section also is not functioning and displaying correctly, the author avatar is not displayed as well. These issues are happening on all of the posts I tested and category pages, the homepage works properly.
I would suggest that you first deactivate all your plugins except theme plugins, clear all installed caches or server provided, clear CDN as well if used. If you enter any code in the theme panel (custom code ad codes etc) temporarily remove it. The same for theme modifications if you mad any.
Additionally check the theme system status panel
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
If needed ask your hosting provider to increase the allocated resources. Let us know the results.
Thanks
Hi,
My pictures are still showing in the wrong size after the update: https://www.coupdepoker.com/culture-poker/top-meilleurs-films-poker/
The only change is that now they’re all small when before some were big, some were small.
I emptied all cache, checked the post if the size wasn’t wrong (and it’s not), even did a Force regenerate all thumbnails… but it didn’t fix the problem.
Can you kindly help?
Hello deanysus,
Most likely, this problem happens due to your cache browser, server cache or CDN. Try to clear and purge all of these and check the results. Tap the CTRL+SHIFT+R and check the results.
Thanks for the message!
Hello nextbride,
If you test that post with the debugger maybe you should encounter some errors in fetching the post meta, Facebook does not find anything or cannot access the page for some reason
– https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/object/
If you click on “See exactly what our scraper sees for your URL” it provides a blank page at the moment. I found some related topics with those errors
– https://www.facebook.com/help/community/question/?id=10153041718989669
– https://stackoverflow.com/questions/25747758/facebook-error-parsing-input-url-no-data-was-cached-or-no-data-was-scraped
You could check for more online as well, and keep testing. If possible provide the solution here after you find it.
Thanks for your understanding!
Tried this but still no result after cache purge and over a week.
<FilesMatch "\.(ttf|otf|eot|woff|woff2)$">
<IfModule mod_headers.c>
Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin "https://trueandroid-trueandroid.netdna-ssl.com"
</IfModule>
</FilesMatch>
Ok. Thank you.
I will try disabling some plugins and clearing the cache.
In WP, auto updated theme and it then distorted the layout of the homepage and began displaying a bunch of the [vc_row][vc_column] type codes all over the page. Cleared the cache to no avail, had to restore to previous version. Please advise.
Hello luca,
I saw that you have a lot of warnings through your console like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/xiFr6roVv and also, I noticed that you are using a lot of untested plugins which can interact with the theme core files which can break the theme functionality and causes a lot of problems. -> https://www.screencast.com/t/iVnb8RIWY8 I suggest you make a new install to another subdomain for testing, remove all of these, clear all the caches and check the results.
Thanks.
I’ve cleared caches and it doesn’t seem to be a plugin issue. I don’t really want to go through the hassle of installing on a subdomain. I activated different themes and they loaded lightning fast, so it’s specific to the Newspaper theme. I just need to remove that file but I can’t find where it is in the theme. It’s apparently some background image for the header. Thanks.
Hi,
Are you testing non-logged or in incognito mode? The super cache has a setting that will not cache pages for known users. Provide a link to your website so we can take a look.
Thanks
Just updated my site to the new version. But the theme is posting the code. how do i fix. I have cleared my cache and everything. http://wccg1045fm.com
Hello pawwel,
Try to update the theme to the latest version of it via FTP way, clear all the caches and check the results. We do not have any bad reports in this case until now.
Thanks for the message!
Hi,
I have noticed that using WP Super Cache every page, posts is cached except Homepage.
For example at the bottom of every post and page you can find, example
<!-- Dynamic page generated in 6.458 seconds. -->
<!-- Cached page generated by WP-Super-Cache on 2018-05-23 13:56:01 -->
<!-- Compression = gzip -->
<!-- super cache -->
But not on homepage. Also homepage delay is about 7-15 sec, before it even starts to loading.
In Firefox, using F12, every page/post shows this:
DOMContentLoaded: 1-3 seconds, but Homepage gets:
DOMContentLoaded: 10-20 seconds
Why such a big delay, why homepage isn’t cached.
Tnx.
Hello,
I suggest you make a new clean install to another subdomain for testing via FTP way, clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results. Also, if you are using some untested plugins, remove all of them and check the results.
Thanks for the message!
already tried. i’ve deactivated the plugin w3 cache and still no solution. deleted all the cache, from browser too.
just to add, the new post is a video post, with the n9 option for video post, but still it didnt show in the lastest post or around the website.
