Hi,

To add a Facebook like element on a page – https://www.screencast.com/t/Te4v6VJNU in a page structure simply insert it in the location you want and update the page, clearing the cache after adding the widget just to be sure. Try to make other changes to the homepage, and check to see if they are saving. Also check and modify the parameters mentioned in this tutorial, if required – https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/

Thanks

Buna Florin,

This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Multumesc.

Hi,

I have tried applying the code provided above and it seems to be working fine – https://www.screencast.com/t/CwDA7TgJSH I see that the code you have entered does not apply in your case, maybe it is not strong enough, or you can try to enter it like the one below and also clear the WP Super Cache cache because it could be preventing the change from taking effect.

.vc_btn3 {
font-family: Montserrat!important;
}

Thanks

Cache hits to this website for quick access. (Recommended)” doesn’t exist anymore in the plugin. Could it create the problem?

First: try to disable all the plugins except Visual composer, clear the cache and check again.

To change the Titles can (for example) the Yoast Seo plugin. Check its settings if the plugin you have installed.

Simon:

Thanks. I migrated my site from a Managed WP server to a CPanel shared host, increased site RAM by a GB, installed WP-Super Cache, and removed all MU plugins from the managed WP site. The site is real fast now.

Ironically, the TagDiv image carousel or slide still doesn’t load when the home page is invoked. One has to land on the page for a minute or two, before the slide starts. To me, this indicates a problem with the theme.

I suppose a plugin could be the culprit. But those I am running I need.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

To test breadcrumb behavior, you can also replace the theme breadcrumb with the yoast breadcrumb in your chosen post template and see what happens. Or use the nifty navxt breadcrumbs.

Also be aware Google is doing a major update this month targeting low quality sites which only clone/copy other content and originate none of their own. Such sites will see deprecation in rankings, SERPS, and they may over-ride anything you do regardless of theme/format if you have such a site.

If the current breadcrumbs don’t throw an error in Google document check, and have the correct modern schema, then it’s not an issue with the breadcrumbs.

It might be change of theme for March is coincidental with Google major SERPS update for March targeting certain types of sites (e.g., Google the “fred” update as one bit of info on the topic).

Could be simply Google re-indexing your site.

Be sure to resave permalinks, clear transients, clear/reset all caching/CDN (destroy all old copies basically), resubmit sitemaps to Google via search console. This makes sure you’re “back in sync” with actual pages vs cached pages in Google archive.

Just food for thought after 22 years of webdev and playing with search engines. Might have nothing to do with your issue, but it might depending on how site setup, et al.

(( I don’t work here. ))

Hi,

It seems that a plugin could be interfering with the gallery – https://www.screencast.com/t/YqNUOX4blNjGhttps://www.screencast.com/t/vr7gYNDmSA4Q Try to disable it, clear the cache and check to see if the problem is still there.

Thanks

Hi,

You can try as a test to disable all the plugins except Visual composer, clear the cache and check to see if the problem is still there. From what I can see there is a different style on the post content properties – https://www.screencast.com/t/vyjMxb2c1MB overriding the theme style. The post content line height and other properties can be changed from the theme panel – https://www.screencast.com/t/kIfhNyyQ
Try deactivating the child theme also if you use it.

Thanks

Hi,

If you have a caching plugin installed, like WP Super Cachehttps://www.screencast.com/t/Q7LoJXXwB you need to go in the plugin settings and delete the cache. This could solve the problem. Here is a guide to help you properly configure the cachehttps://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ Also check if any changes have been made to the Facebook page privacy settings, the page has to be public – https://www.screencast.com/t/mCLAcJ7U

Hi,

In the link you provided there are only paragraphs – https://www.screencast.com/t/9Xd4DkePfa no lists. If you are creating the list like this – https://www.screencast.com/t/7zJ3AtZd and in the Text tab it looks like this – https://www.screencast.com/t/G7Zltf7Mj it should display properly – https://www.screencast.com/t/BRqTEW7G2p
If it does not, it could be a plugin causing this, try as a test to disable all the plugins except Visual composer, clear the cache and check again. Also you could try to make other changes to the text and check to see if they apply.

Thanks

Didn’t work. What exactly do you mean by clear your cache?

Hello MasteringHealth,

I have inspected your website console and I saw that you have some js errors through it. First of all, please try to disable all of your untested plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches, purge all CDN files and check the results. After that, make sure that your system status is increased according to our guide here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello boss1234,

I suppose that you PHP memory is exhausted and that’s why you cannot make any changes. Please check your system status to be according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ Clear all your caches and check the results.

Thanks for the message!

Hello LaurennePierrick,

I have tested on Android devices and the images seem to work as expected. The problem is on Apple devices which not loaded your images from your posts. It seems to be a conflicting plugin which causes this issue. Try to disable all of your untested plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins.

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Thanks for the message!

Hello,

We have no reports of such errors coming from our theme. Our theme does not use google maps by default.
Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it
Then test again to see if the errors are still present.

Thank you!

Hi,

It seems that this could be ad related – https://www.screencast.com/t/fWKfCLn5mos as you can see there are a lot of warnings regarding this. You can also try disabling all your plugins except Visual composer, clear the cache, purge cdn files and check again. Maybe a plugin is interfering in some way, I can not even see the ad at the moment – https://www.screencast.com/t/88I2amcd4v7Fhttps://www.screencast.com/t/hUsfaqdHuusA

Thanks

Hi,

Please make sure you have configured the social counter according to this guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial-2/ Also check if your Facebook page is not set to private. You can also try disabling all your plugins except the ones bundled with the theme, clear your cache and check again.

Thanks

Hello Catalin,

Following your last message :
– We updated our theme with the newest version via FTP
– We disabled all our untested plugings
– We cleared all our caches

On the link your are showing and other mobile screens simulator the pictures are showing but on our real mobile phones they are not. We asked several persons to test it for us and it still isn’t working.

We tried to upload a new article showing new photos and they are still not showing, except for one only :
http://www.traveleaters.com/road-trip-dans-le-northland-nos-decouvertes-gourmandes/

We looked everywhere and couldn’t find a way why this particular photo was showing and not the other. This is really an issue for our website.

Thank you in advance for your help,

Marking this issue as [Resolved] after receiving recommendations from Catalin

This issue is also fixed – > https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/unwanted-border-and-alignment-of-tiles-in-front-page/#post-162684

What I did to resolve the issue:
– Deactivate third party cache plugins
– Install and activate WP Super Cache as recommended on tagDiv forum
– Delete third party cache plugins
– Revert wordpress theme to NewsMag default; no longer using child theme

Ace

Thanks again Catalin, really appreciate your insight.

You seem to be correct regarding the use of child theme possibly causing non-alignment for elements.
As previously mentioned in another thread, this issue is now [Resolved] after reverting theme to default and clearing all caches.

Thanks for your time!
Cheers

Hey Catalin, you’re an awesome wizard! <compliment>

What I did exactly is:

– Disable all cache plugins
– Install and activate WP Super Cache following the DIY tutorial provided by tagDiv
– Revert back to NewsMag CSS and stop using child CSS
– Clear all caches

voila!

The issue with the block and front page tiles appearing incorrectly no longer occurs.

Marking as [Resolved]

Thanks so much

Hi,

Please try to disable all plugins except Visual composer, clear the cache and check again. This is the most likely cause, a plugin could be overriding the settings in the menu screen causing options to not be available, and has happened to some users before.

Thanks

Hi Simion,
I’m afraid that you do not understand either.

You are watching results from the browser cache!!!

Please, make again that research into incognito browser page with (site:demo.tagdiv.com) and you’ll see that breadcrumb hierarchy was lost too for your domain with the latest versions of theme.

Again, with all my respect, please point this issue to someone who really understands (your devoloper).

Best to all.

Hey guys,

I didn’t want to set up a new thread because this thread seems to have been created very often. I also encounter problems with Adsense. My ads aren’t visible but my Adsense account is approved since weeks! Checking the source code of my website I can see the script implemented correctly but It just won’t show up.

I deactivated my Kaspersky, all Browser Extensions etc. and still the Ads are not shown. Also Disabled Cache afterwords. Anything?

Best and thanks!
