Hello,
This could be related top images as you say in your vide so please use this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rRrG3K4vjsk
Another possible fix: http://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/edu/wordpress/http-image-error
As for the ad you see on the post, that is no featur image, it is an artilce top ad. Please3 check the article top ad in your ads section of the theme panel and remove the article top ad.
I want to clarify something as I can see you probably think the theme is to blame for these “glitches” but it’s not :). They are problems you get locally on your end, not something that is happening for everybody. It could be a server configuration, it could even be a plugin conflict. Please try this without any plugins as well. disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
I hope this helps.
You can add links to images when adding them into your posts and selecting what you want the image to link to like so: http://screencast.com/t/v8FupV4jRc
Thank you!
Hello onlinedimes,
Sorry for the delay but please notice that we treat our customers from oldest to newest and if you will make any bump, your question will be put at the top of the forum and will become newer and that’s why it appears this delay. Also, please notice that here you can see our Support Hours -> http://screencast.com/t/K1pbx14Wi and also, we answer on the forum from oldest to newest, respecting our program.
As another hint in this regard, please try to make a new fresh install from scratch only with the required plugins, clear all your caches and check again the results.
If the problem is still there you should send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further inspect it closer your setup page.
If you are unhappy with our theme and if you want to request a full refund for this theme, you should contact the Envato Market at this link here -> https://themeforest.net/refund_requests/new and we will accept it.
Thanks for your understanding!

Hello,
Please disable all plugins except visual composer and seo yoast, clear cache and test again. It is working fine on our end so there could be a plugin conflict or other sources affecting the add media button
Thank you!
Hello votranhtuhi,
Now, you should use the Visual Composer 4.12.1 because the 5 version of Visual Composer has not been tested yet. We will consider doing that in our future updates. Until this, you should use the 4.12.1 version. Clear all your caches and check the results. Notice that the Widgetised sidebar is fully tested with the theme and until now we do not have any bad reports in this regard.
Thanks for the message!
Hello portuga,
I guess that you are using some plugin for your Disqus with this functionality because our theme does not have this -> http://screencast.com/t/jsSjbbeyA7mp I have tested on my site, without any plugins and the comment area title is there. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and check the results.
Hope this helps!
Thanks for the message!
Hi,
Please disable all plugins except visual composer and wp super cache as there could be another plugin conflicting with wp super cache. Please only use these settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Thank you!
Hello simply_shelby_h,
I have checked your website on mobile and the website seems to work as properly, and the featured images still working fine. Where is the problem? Also, I have checked your console and I saw that you are some js errors within it. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled wit the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins.
Thanks for your understanding!
Good evening team,
I installed your theme last night, but I’m having a few constant issues. Tried modifying wp-config files, removing old caching files, re-installing the theme about 5 times, deactivating all plugins, but I can’t figure out the fix. So that’s why I’m here, and looking forward to your response.
Thank you.

i tried this and it did not work. On top of deleting all animations under the loader styles and clearing my cache to get the most up to date styles. This animation is seriously annoying, can you please tell me how to get rid of it?
.td-loader-gif{
background:url(myurl);
background-size:contain;
animation:none;
transform:none;
transition:none;
}
Footer enabled, cache cleared, not displaying.
Disabled plugins, left only VC on, cleared cache, reactivated plugins.
Still not displaying.
Please fix – thanks
Hi,
Yes, i did that.
It did not help.
I cleared caches, and tried with only VC plugin activated,
after that i tried with VC and the others that came with the bundle.
No change.
Where do we go from now?
Kind regards,
Joakim
🙂
For me it’s just a blocker.
Ah, and sorry it’s around 150.000 posts not 15.000.
So without a strong cache it is a total failure.
I already read a lot of WP SUPERCACHE topics and documentation.
I feel like I’m missing something or I misunderstood something about cache.
WP SUPERCACHE acts differently on mobile theme vs. desktop theme.
After one post update the mobile theme loads the page from cache in 1.4 seconds,
on desktop theme will rebuild the entire cache and load in ~8 seconds.
It’s a simulated large site with 15000 posts.
I know, it’s about WP SUPERCACHE but i’d be pleased if Newspaper theme can act like mobile theme, loading only new data without rebuilding entire page cache.
P.S. Can I please contact your team on another channel (mail, phone,…) for this and other collaboration problems?
I’m a WP developer from Romania and I have some ongoing projects.
Thank you in advance,
Cristian T.M.
yep 🙂
one of the big secrets to services that speed up WordPress are
mod_pagespeed with memcache, http/2, php7 with opcache, page caching system
all that stuff really helps.
btw, with php7 only couple minor tweaks needed to theme code; and rumour has it the next version of theme in couple of weeks (sooner?) may have php7 support baked in, once WP 4.7 drops (and likely 4.7.1 based on how this often goes).
Hello,
We are creating a multisite by using Newspaper 7.5 theme. Everything works great, but the mobile plugin is not working.
Can see this message: The mobile theme path couldn’t be set. Please check if you already have another mobile theme plugin active and disable it (ex. Jetpack Mobile Theme or similar). If you use a cache plugin clear it before checking the results.
Please, Help me to get rid of this.
Thanks!
Hi, it’s a pleasure.
I installed WP Super Cache, and it did not load the home page or its images, everything was left blank. As in the following image.

But then I deleted the plugin, and deleted the wp-config.php to leave no trace of the WP Super Cache, and I restored the page, but sometimes it remains so blank, is there any solution so that it will not continue to show blank?
Or what do you recommend doing?
As it should always be, it is like this image.

The page sometimes looks good and sometimes does not look good, but in the incognito mode of google chrome, if you see the page as if it did not have anything.

Hello,
Our theme has the proper markup for the title as it is a h1 tag . There is no other markup needed for this error. Here is a description:
Title not found – this error is less common but occasionally an article template is coded in such a way that the editorial headline is not easily identifiable or even accessible to crawlers. Be sure to place your headlines in simple HTML text right at the top of the article body, in an H1 tag.
The markup is already there so you do not need to do anything extra. But google news should scan posts not the homage blocks. AA block does not have a post title. It renders an instance of it in a h3 element but posts are the ones that will have to be grabbed by google, not the homepage blocks.
Please check your cache and only use these settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Thank you!
That’s what I did, cleared the cache from the browser, and it’s still 0.
I’m not using any cache plugins in wordpress.
Thanks
Hello,
Please use this guide to properly set up your counter: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial/
Then clear all caching afterwards as the facebook counter is affected by cache.
Thank you!
Hello Coner,
“Bump” on our forums has the opposite effect you only delay your answer.
This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Hello @hans and @Ing Geek,
Please keep in mind that the only place where the theme has added this meta information is in td_wp_booster_functions.php If you will comment out or erase these snippets of the code, the theme will not render this. Try to clear all your caches and test again.
Thanks for the message!
Hello simply_shelby_h,
First of all, please ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme and if yo9ur are using some untested plugins, please try to disable all of them and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicts. Make sure if your system status is correctly increased according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ You can try to disable the lazy load option from theme panel, clear all your caches and test again.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Hello,
W3 total cache used to be the tested and approved plugin to use with our theme but it started creating all kinds of issues with our themes and we decided to change the recommended plugin. Please only use https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Thank you!
