Hello javid,
I have inspected your website and I did not saw any problem with your mobile menu to the desktop mode. Everything seems to work as properly. Try to clear all your caches and check the results.
Also, please keep in mind that the theme doesn’t have RTL support and you will need custom modifications for an RTL site. Unfortunately, the time doesn’t allow us to provide any type of custom services and if you develop an RTL site you will need custom work and I can only suggest getting someone to help you.
Thanks for the message!
Please also check any server side cache as in most cases the hosting also provides caching that needs to be deactivated so just wp super cache is used.
Thank you!
Hello Toni,
Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Then test again. There most likely is a plugin causing the issue.
thank you!
Hi! Thanks for reply!
I have only one plugin installed that’s not related to your theme and I have tried disabling, but had no results. I have also tried clearing browser cache, with EDGE, CHROME AND MOZILLA.
I will send you now the login info and please take a look.
Hello,
It is not a bug but most likely an external source causing this. it could be a plugin or the cache or any optimization tolls you might use that causes the issue. Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache ande reset cdn files if you use it. Then test again without the other plugins. disabling and re-installing the plugins again will not do anything as you must test without them to see if the error comes from an active plugin. Also if you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme and test again.
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
Hello ex501,
I have tested on my site and the block seems to work as properly if I filtered it by more than one category. Please try to disable all the untested plugins if you are using something like this, clear all your caches and check again the results.
If the problem is still there, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further inspect it closer your setup page.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
We have only tested wp super cache and found these settings to work best: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ and for cdn: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
Maybe our users tested other plugins as well.
You should also choose your host based on the num,ber of visitors: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ caching can do only so much without proper hosting.
Thank you!
Hello John,
Please ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme and also, the latest version of required plugins (Visual Composer 4.12.1 and Social Counter 4.1). Clear all the caches and check again. Please keep in mind that the theme should display all the categories in the Category filter and if you select one of them the posts from that category should be displayed in the block. Provide more details about your problem and also, you should send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further inspect it closer your setup page.
Thanks for the message!
Hello,
This is most likely a caching issue. Please only use wp super cache and these settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ and for a cdn: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
Please also check your host for any host related caching. Also try it without plugins by disabling all of them except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files.
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
Hello.
When the cache (WP Super Cache) is enabled, the posts have not changed number of views.
WEB: http://www.k-pop.ru/
(Currently, the cache is disabled.)
The settings by this instruction: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
How fix it?
Thank you
Hello andreaspom,
Please keep in mind that the Mobile Menu is fully tested and compatible with our theme. I suppose that happens due to your untested plugins. Please try to disable all of them and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. Also, please ensure that you are correctly set, your Wp-Super cache plugin and Cloudflare, according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
Also, if the problem is still there, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further inspect it closer your setup page. Provide there the link to this topic so we can quickly identify you.
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello ghostmi,
I suppose that you are using some untested plugins which can interact with our theme and cause a lot of unknown issues, like Rocket Loader, WP-Rocket, etc. Please notice that we cannot provide support for untested plugins. Try to disable all of the plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. For more information about our Ad System, please consult the documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-header-ads/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-other-ads-non-adsense-ads/ Also, if the problem is still there, please try to make a new fresh install via FTP because this is the surest method in this regard and check the results.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for the message!
I believe they are working on it, with WP 4.7 compatibility more critical for December. Since most good web hosts allow you to choose version of PHP to use, 5.6x still works very well with opcache. v7 is better, and there *are* some threads on here as to the couple of minor tweaks you can make “right now:” to work with PHP7.
(( I don;t work here … ))
As recently my friends have told me the site sometimes looks mobile view on desktop browsers and when I clear the cache using comet cache and the other one provided by Godaddy clearing cache the site looks back,
Why this caching issue is there? I dont like to use W3 cache, it loads on site as well as on server so I choose comet cache, is there any more information or things going on with me site,
Another thing is should I use Tagdiv site booster plugin? I already have some plugins installed and will it compitable?
Thanks
Gadgetsay
Last month on your advice , I used “wp super cache ” .After installation , the google page speed goes down to 35/100.
Any other alternate solution.
Test with Google Pagespeed for “real” score with Google.
Speed cannot decrease by removing things. (note fewer items, smaller size?)
Depending on setup, which presumes an optimized htaccess file also, you may want to load jquery locally, for example with http/2 it may actually be quicker to “bundle” into the packet cache.
Hello guys,
I have small issue with the category filter on block 1. When I try to filter categories with ID, (add more categories) it only pulls the first one. Am I missing something?
– Yes, I did clean browser cache and cookies from this url
– Yes, I left “show all categories” drop down option on default
– I have no installed plugins except two of yours (social counter and visual composer)
My website temporary URL is: http://162.144.182.23/~brckodan/ and category is “lifestyle” (the pink one)
Please, take a look into it.
Hello,
I am experiencing a rather odd problem.
My mobile menu is not displaying correctly on iphones, specifically it is like it does not “read” any of the cache rules and diplays all white. What is weird, is that when I try it on incognito mode it displays just fine! I assumed therefore it was a cache issue, I cleared cache on wp-super cache and cloudflare, delete all safari cache as well and the problem persists!
If needed I can send screenshots on an email, or provide you with a url to investigate the problem yourselves. It seems and feels like a caching issue, however I haven’t been able to resolve it.
Thanks
Hello I wanted to know if anyone has used redis caching?
My hosting company suggested it to me because we are a high traffic site.
We already use wordpress super cache, and cloudflare,
We have a fairly large site with over 45 plugins,
We have opcache installed on the server and an ssl otherwise we would be using varnish,
We get roughly 50 visits per 3 minutes and when we get hit hard say 150+ visits per minute – that is when the server begins to take a beating..
So I just wanted to know if anyone had ever tested redis?
Thanks
Hello stax,
Please ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme and only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet. So, if you are using some untested plugins, please try to disable all of them and install only required plugins to rule out any conflicts. Please contact your hosting provider to remove all the server cache if you do not have any access to do this and check the results.
Hope this helps!
Thanks for the message!
Hi,
this is a very common caching issue. Please only use wp super cache with these settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ and if you use a cdn https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
Also check your host as sometimes the host also provides caching
Thank you!
Hello,
I install and configure WP-Super Cache like this: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
But when its on , my mobile theme don’t work and mobile devices show desktop version.
Thank you.
Hello,
1. The activation sometimes produces a server tim-out so you will have to use the manual activation method:
http://screencast.com/t/9U1RLTAazD
2. Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it and test again.
3. For the mobile issue, this is a caching issue. Please only use wp super cache and these settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ and for a cdn: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
I hope this helps.
Let us know if you still have trouble with the theme.
Thank you!
Hello,
Well we have not tested varnish with our theme so I cannot say for sure if it;s just a setting or not. The tested and aprovded caching plugin is wp super cache. Anything beyond that could provide mixed results so you will have to test out all the settings. Even settings from wp super cache can break the layout. We have found these settings to work with our theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Thank you!
My mistake. It was a little cache problem. Everything is ok now. Thanks.
