Hello,
Well the mobile theme plugin does not seem to be active on your site. Please make sure the mobuile theme plugin is active or if you use wp super cache, please follow this topic to learn of an incompatibility issue that can easily be fixed with 1 line of code:
https://github.com/Automattic/wp-super-cache/issues/132
http://screencast.com/t/YLN48vYD0r9
Thank you!
Hello,
This issue might be caused by an incompatible plugin so please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it.
Then test your posts again.
Let us know if you still have this issue afterwards.
Thanks
Hello,
I have accessed your site but could not see the problem. the sidebar does indeed go smaller below 1018 px as tablets do not have enough space to display the full sidebar width. It is a css rule added to make sure the sidebar and content display properly on tablets but i could not see it getting smaller when scrolling to the bottom. please let us know if you still have this issue.
If you do, in most cases such issues are plugin conflicts so please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it.
Thank you!
Hello kike21,
I have inspected your website console and I have noticed that you have some js errors through the theme. Please make sure that you have disabled all untested plugins, clear all your caches, purge CDN files if you are using these and if your problem is still there after this, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further inspect it closer. Also, please provide the link of this topic so we can easily identify you.
Thanks for your message!
Hello,
Please use this guide first and regenerate all thumbs: https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/
If the problem is still there please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it.
Thank you!

Hello,
If the system status was not the cause of it please also try it without any plugins. Disable all of theme except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it.
If the problem is still there, please regenerate all thumbs using the “force regenerate” plugin
Another possible fix is adding "SetEnv MAGICK_THREAD_LIMIT 1" to the htaccess file.
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!

Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!
Hello,
I have tested this on my end but did not see the issue. Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you sue it. Also make sure you do not have any custom code in the child theme or in the theme panel that might affect the ads.
Let us know if you still have issues with this and prvide a link to your site if the problem is still there
Thank you!
Hi
Make sure that you’re using V 3.1 of Newsmag theme and also try to update Social Counter plugin at V 4.1 which is included in theme’s path > plugins folder: http://screencast.com/t/6r2LsUUcknzb The easiest way is to install the plugin from theme’s plugins panel: http://screencast.com/t/vBuS6iueqrc Just delete the old version and install the new one, configure it according with our documentation, clear all caches then test the site again.
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks!

Thank you!
HI
I’ve checked your site and noticed that the css for menu it’s a bit different, that’s why the items are displayed on two lines. Try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches, purge cdn files if you’re using then test the site again. Also if you made any changes in theme’s core files try to revert them, or upload a fresh copy of Newsmag in your WordPress.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!
HI
I am not sure why this happens but it could be a conflict between the theme and some plugin that you have installed. Try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches then test the site again. Also make sure that the image links to media file: http://screencast.com/t/vUd3GcWe7qY
Let me know how it goes and if the problem persist please provide your site url so I can have a closer look.
Thanks!
HI
I’ve checked your site again and found some js errors in browse’s console: http://screencast.com/t/1hoN7Soo This errors may affect theme’s functionality so try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches then test the site again. Also you can enable the smart sidebar from theme panel > template settings for posts: http://screencast.com/t/vvmA5nmWVmi This option will also make the sidebar sticky if you’re not using Visual Composer on pages. To make the sidebar sticky on pages where Visual Composer is used add td-ss-row class on the row as it’s indicated here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-smart-sidebar/
Thanks!

To do so you have to edit following two theme files
1 – td-config.php (located in themes includes folder)
2 – style.css
Remove the following code from td-config.php
/**
* the default fonts used by the theme. For a list of fonts ids @see td_fonts::$font_names_google_list
*/
td_global::$default_google_fonts_list = array (
'438' => array(
'css_style_id' => 'google_font_open_sans',
'url' => td_global::$http_or_https . '://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Open+Sans:300italic,400italic,600italic,400,600,700'
),
'521' => array(
'css_style_id' => 'google_font_roboto',
'url' => td_global::$http_or_https . '://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Roboto:500,400italic,700,900,500italic,400,300'
),
);
Refer – http://prntscr.com/cgub4l
Now edit style.css file
replace: font-family: 'Open Sans', arial, sans-serif;
with font-family: Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif
and
replace: font-family: 'Roboto', sans-serif;
with font-family: Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif
That’s it. Upload both files and clear cache and browser cookies to check result.

Thanks for the patience charles. I did not know you were refering to browser cache, I did that already although I doubt I needed to anyway because I alway brouse incognito.
Saved also permalink settings but still the same problem.
Hey Chris,
Thanks again 🙂
This time, it was really easy for me to comprehend whatever you said above.
I received a quick response from my hosting provider saying that they are looking at my suggestions and will see what can be done. But they also repeated that they are not going to change the configuration of the entire server based on individual requests.
Let’s see what happens. Right now I have actovated the Super cache + cloudflare and I am getting pagespeed score of 90+ I will wait for their reponse and then re-look at everything I learn here.
And yes, I am a regular visitor of WPBeginner, WPMU etc. In fact, recently I tweaked my login page without using any plugin based on a nice post on WPMU 🙂
Cheers,
Nano
See Google for how to clear cache in whatever web browser you’re using.
If using a caching plugin on your site, clear it.
Permalinks are part of the WordPress settings — good to learn how to use WP; and the docs are found on wordpress.org. Basically go to your permalinks settings and press “save” button.
The NGINX vs Apache thing is a tad confusing with the latest web servers; for example I run Apache because I’ve been doing so for 20 years and know it’s tweaks; NGINX works a bit diffferent; and if I didn’t have a legacy 16 year old website to deal with we’d been running NGINX.
Funny thing, even with the new system, NGINX runs in front of Apache to serve http/2 for https, which we have not yet implemented. But the pages are served by Apache (for now).
Your server is likely running opcache/memcache with NGINX, which is good. It speeds up files requested over and over, as I stated. Local caching on your site is different, as it caches the stuff being queried for each page to speed things up since there is no lag time waiting for dbase to serve and render the page (technically with php/wordpress there are no actual “pages” on your site, they all are built dynamically).
So, you likely have a CentOS/Apache setup (as we do here), but NGINX being used for caching.
Generally, you should just tell your host you need your domain optimized for WORDPRESS, and they should be able to do the rest on the backend as far as caching, gzip/deflate, etc.
No support on weekends isn’t good for hosting provider; means they are a reseller and not a “true host” — they are reselling another company’s hosting, which is very common.
In any case, it’s a process — but some of the stuff is NOT theme specific, it’s WordPress specific, meaning the server side tweaks, and general optimization of time to live, caching, expiration headers, image compression, etc., are NOT specific to ANY theme.
So, good to make Google your friend and explore the many articles out there on “speeding up WordPress” — sites like WPBeginner, WPMU, etc.

Hi Catalin,
Did you receive my email with login details? I’ve tried flushing caches and deactivating plugins but the logo crop issue remains.
Many thanks
Hi Catalin,
I’ve flushed the caches and deactivated plugins as suggested but this has had no effect on the title lengths. Is there a setting or CSS somewhere that is setting the big grid title lengths to 25 characters and the breadcrumb title lengths to 12 characters? Or is it a max width somewhere based on the font style used?
Many thanks
SOrry how do I do clear cache and resave permalinks?
I will install wp-optimize now.
Clear your cache, resave permalinks, clear transients with wp-optimize.
