@ALL
If you do a quick search through the forum you will see that the new version of wordpress broke visual composer. It;s best to hold on to the updates for a wile until the plugins and themes can test and apply fixes if needed. The best thing to do is to disable automatic updates.
Please update your theme to the latest version by following this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ and very important: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Make sure you clear your cache and reset cdn files afterwards.
Thank you!
Please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Now check your pages again and if you still have problems please provide details to what they are and a link to the specific pages.
Thank you!
Hello,
The updates were just for the visual composer and revolution slider plugins update. In order to have the latest version of the theme and plugins, please follow these 2 guides:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
As for the social counter, please keep in mind that it is affected by cache so please clear your cache and reset cdn files if you use it and check again.
Let us know if you still have problems with the counter.
Thanks.
Hi,
Please make sure you update the theme to the latest version: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ and also make sure you installed the latest version of visual composer properly: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
If you still have issues, also try it without plugin. Disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it.
Thank you!
Hello imrantareen26,
Usually, this kind of error appears when using CDN or loading fonts from a different source. Please try to use this solution and take a look at this: http://screencast.com/t/AMjW530CSH6 and this: http://screencast.com/t/dLjEUGGwQUZ
The solution to this issue is simple. You will need to add some code to your .htaccess file like this post suggests: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/strange-chinese-symbols-replaced-icons-and-arrows/
For your second request, please check the General image status for your Theme panel. If you want to work the lightbox for your image, please ensure that this option is active, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/WhoOump7DYVw
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thank you for the message!
Hello,
Unfortunately not all plugins are compatible with our theme. Every premium theme has this ‘problem’ as the code is custom and plugins cannot recognize it as plugins are created for standard wordpress code. The disqus plugin is not tested with our theme but users on this forum claim to use it without issues. Try to disable all other plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Then check again. You might want to search through the forum as well to see if someone else had these problems.
Thank you!
Hi,
Sorry but we do not work on weekends. Support hours are posted in the top right of the screen. Please try to re-save permalinks and disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn file. Then check your posts again. By checking your site I could not find any 404 errors. All posts opened as expected.
Let us know how it goes and if you still have the error, please provide more details so we can better understand how to help.
Thank you!

try clearing any cache/cdn reset if used;
also try clearing transients with wp-optimize
I guess WordPress 4.5 can “break” how jquery is loaded in a *lot* of themes, or they switched to calling a newer version than most themes and WP 4.4x had.
So, if your site stops working with WP 4.5, then you’d likely need to update, –or– perhaps unenqueue jquery from theme in your functions.php file and then load via the Google CDN. Oddly one of my sites where I did that had zero problems with the new WP 4.5 update, while others had the problem.
Obviously make a full back up of your dbase and site content so you can “roll back” if it does not work.
Visual Composer may stop working with new version of WP due to the new version of jquery being loaded.
Did you also update the VC plugin at same time you updated theme; clear caching/CDN as needed, clear transients?
Hi,
I edited the above reply, but it seems you have not seen it after:
It worked now, and I managed to see the issues. This could be a plugin conflict so please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Now check the menus again and let us know how it goes.
Thanks.
Hi,
Before we take a look, please try to exclude a plugin conflict. Please disable ALL plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it.
If the problem is still there, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can inspect it. Also include a link to this topic.
Thank you!
Hi,
Please follow these steps to troubleshoot the issue
1) Deactivate ALL plugins except visual composer
2) Clear cache from the caching plugin you use. Also clear the browser’s cache http://www.refreshyourcache.com/en/home/
3) If you use a CDN server, please purge the cdn files.
If the problem is still there afterwards, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can log-in and inspect the issue. Please also include a link to this topic so we can identify you.
Thank you!
Hi,
Please make sure you installed the theme correctly by following this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
You can also try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files to rule out a plugin conflict.
If the error is still there, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin sop we can take a look. Please also include a link to this topic so we can identify you.

Hello Edward,
Glad too see you are doing well.
1) The code you are referring to in the sidebar is actually a social counter shortcode that does not get rendered because you do not have the plugin active. Either remove the social counter from the sidebar if you do not want to use it, or simply activate it from the plugins section.
2) This could be a plugin issue so please try to identify the plugin that causes it. please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Then check the sidebar again.
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks.
Hi
The last theme update is tested and works fine on Chrome. Try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches, purge cdn file if you’re using then test again. Also make sure that you’re using lat version of Visual Composer plugin included in theme’s path, V 4.11.2.
Thanks!
Hi,
This is a font related issue, when the font is not loaded from the same source. Usually it happens when using a cdn server. Please follow this topic to fix the strange looking icons:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/strange-chinese-symbols-replaced-icons-and-arrows/
Thank you!
the vc/jscomposer plugin is in the ‘all files’ download from themeforest in the oddest of places — the plugins folder! — so, you might try getting it from there.
Oh, looks like you did find it, sorry.
You need to update both theme and plugin to fix issue with WP 4.5.
Delete old jscomposer folder in your plugins folder, upoload new one. Clear caching/CDN, and also transients using wp-optimize or similar.
Should work!
Via FTP delete the jscomposer folder in plugins folder.
Install clean version.
You may need to clear all caching/CDN as applicable; also clear ‘transients’ using WP-optimize.
Always keep backup of working site as snapshot so you can roll back if needed.
Good luck!
Hi,
Maybe you activated an incompatible plugin? Please try to deactivate all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Then check again. Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
Hi,
Please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. this could be a plugin conflict. If the problem is still there, please try to create a new video post with no other content besides the video to see if there is no issue with the post itself. HTML tags left open can sometimes create this effect.
Thanks.
