On a freshly installed WP based on MariaDB 10.4 and PHP 8-0 I am using Newspaper with the child theme and I am trying to get “Forest Beat” running. tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Newsletter are installed and activated.
When I try to activate the tagDiv Cloud Library plugin I get the following error.
tagDiv Cloud Library - Plugin deactivated.
This plugin is not supported by the current theme!
How can I solve this issue?

WordPress is up to date and we have been using this theme for over four years now on the same installation so I don’t think it’s a PHP or version issue, we meet all the requirements. As far as direct access to PHP files, not sure what you are suggesting, that we should enable it, or disable it? The problem occurs whether we are using our child theme or the primary Newspaper theme, so we were able to rule out any code in the child theme’s functions.php file.

Global” means setting a global template, for example, a header for all pages and a template for the respective language.
It is not necessary to set them in the child theme.

Unfortunately there is no option in the theme to can do that, it will be need to do it manually in the theme files (it can be set in a child theme). The theme file path to the file that needs to be edited is wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newsmag/parts/single/single_template_8.php and the code is the one from line 18 to 23 – https://i.imgur.com/DujJGIn.png

I deactivated the Nitropack cache plugin and purged all cache.
This website uses the cheapest package of strato.de hosting. I don’t think they offer such option as clouflare. So Cloudflare can’t be the problem now.

Cloudflare could be the cause of your problem, because it blocks bad robots (Facebook should be good robot). Try to disable it and see if it works. If this is the problem, you need to contact Cloudflare support.
