Hi Calin,
Thank you. I understand that, but our main question is: Do we need to setup the child theme altogether again?
If yes, how can we do that? please provide step by step information.
1- Where can we locate the new files? (keeping in mind that we simply updated our theme, and this is not a new purchase).
2- As we have updated our regular theme, but we are still running the old child theme which we were using before updating the regular theme, what do we have to do next in order to update the child theme as well?
Please let us know.

We have recently updated our theme version to 10.2, but our child theme is Version: 9.0c.
What do you recommend doing in this case? do we need to setup the child theme altogether again?
Please let us know.

Hi,
Sorry, but you can not create templates for custom post types using cloud, this can be done only with standard templates.
Now the files for standard post can be found in wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/parts/single
Also please check the documentation for child theme too -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/
Thank you for your understanding!

Hello !
Please note that there have been updates on the Child Theme too. Follow our child theme tutorial here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/ ; If you’re runing 9.8 or lower I recommend to you to create a backup first doing the update.
Please make sure that you do the procedure properly according to our documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
The best way to update the Newspaper Theme is to delete the current Newspaper Theme version and TagDiv Plugins and after that you can install the new version.
You can find 9.8 version here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/action-required-please-read-how-to-update-to-the-newspaper-theme-v-10/
Also please read my last reply about update on this post: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/update-to-newspaper-10/
Overwriting files will cause conflicts.
Thank you !
My costumer needs the upgrade of Newspaper 7 to Newspaper X; but I’m a different provider, so what I can see is that my customer’s page has all it’s changes in the News Papel Child Theme, but everytime I activated Newspaper X the Child Theme of Newspaper 7 disappears, plus Newspaper X Child Theme don-t get installed when I upload the .zip.

Hi,
Usually the “Invalid reply from server endpoint error” is caused by insufficient WP_Memory_limit.
From what I seen, yours are set quite well, just to make sure, please follow the guide carefully, maybe you can increase the WP_Memory_limit.

Hi,
We recommend to use the child theme that comes with the theme version you have, in this way there should be no problems.
So you’ll need to use the child theme from the theme package and set the content form old one in the new one, also make sure that you’ve checked the documentation for child theme -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/
Thank you!
