To replace the live search with google search the best solution is to remove it the one from the theme using tagDiv Composer and use an embed code to set the google search. Editing the theme files are not an option because the files for the live search can not be set in a child theme and will be lost when the theme will be updated.
To create a goggle search you can use this guide: How Do I Add a Custom Google Search to My Website?
To add the code in our theme use a cloud header and set with tagDiv Composer the custom code in a column text or text with title – https://imgur.com/xn721m6 -> https://imgur.com/D475ZN0

Please use a single post template -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/, and you need to have the single post view on the template or hide it with a custom code css for standard template.
There was a fix for this option because, normally, this should disable the option globally, which is why it was working in the previous versions.

You can apply the filter only on the Flex Block and Big Grid Flex -> https://imgur.com/Nnt3zGX
The Posts Loops settings are divided into 5 tabs: General, Layout, Style, ADS and CSS. The Posts loop is a special block and doesn’t have filtering options.
Also, one of the options for pagination of the Posts Loop has the option for normal numbered and the flex blocks do not have this option.
The Posts Loop is automatically filtering the posts depending on the cloud template you set (for example on the category page there will be posted posts from that category).

The loop elements do not have the filter option because this is using an automatically filter and this is working like this: when it is set in a page or single post template it will display all the posts but when it is set in a cloud category template, tag, archive, search, then this will automatically filter the posts base on the cloud template where it is used.

Thanks Calin. According to hoster the critical error was caused by the TagDiv Composer so they had to deactivate it. After update, reinstall and activation I experience the mentioned trouble regarding the presets.
Where can I find tagDiv Standard pack plugins and tagdiv Cloud Library? In the plugin section there is just Composer, Social Counter, Newsletter etc.
I use Newsmag – maybe different from Newspaper?

Hi Petra,
The theme settings are saved in database and if the theme was used on the restore backup, then the database should contain the theme settings, just make sure that the theme plugins are also installed, for example tagDiv Composer, if you are using classic templates, then you’ll also need the tagDiv Standard pack plugins and for cloud templates the tagDiv Cloud Library, all those plugins can be installed from Newspaper > plugins.

Yes. If you run this plugin: https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/, then the images will automatically be cropped for blocks.
This will help to improve your page speed, but also to fit the images in the blocks.
For other places, you can choose the sizes you want. For example, here: https://cloud.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-basic-design-principles-to-decorate-your-home/ the image you talk about is a featured image, which we chose to display in full size.

However, I didn’t find a way, in the TagDiv editor, to use my templates (those that I cloned and changed) as an element on a page.

We are trying to upgrade our sites from Newspaper 9 to 12. Upon applying the theme and the required plugins there are problems with the headers. What is it about the upgrade from 9 to 12 that would break the headers?

Issue: The existing Header from Newspaper9 does not show. Editing with Composer does not bring up the editor. Our existing header is not available for selection. Importing a cloud header (real News Pro) makes the entire header look broken. Clicking on the Menu buttons doesn’t launch the editor.
Errors: Composer throws the following error: “Error at zones: 6(models) : 5(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. “

If I upload an image that is 1920px wide and weighs 400Kb, then does the theme automatically load a cropped version at 696px which is much lighter than the original 1920px of 400Kb when it displays it within the text of a post? Or even if it displays it at 696px, will the page still have to load the full 400Kb of the image?
Using the plugin recommended by the article that you pointed out to me on one of your sample pages (which is supposed to be super optimized) it seems that the weight of the image is the original one even if displayed at 696px.

According to the plugin that you (indirectly) recommended, the first image displayed in the text of this sample post is 1920x1280px and weighs 265Kb even when displayed at 696px, whereas according to pagespeed it weighs 36Kb.

When I open the tagdiv composer in any page, and add a “Column text” element, I can’t edit the content, I got 403 forbidden error in the console after clicking on the edit content button. The popup window appears but it’s just loading and nothing happens.

What is the possibility of running Real Estate PRO as part of another demo?
Running Real Estate PRO as a demo to copy everything on another temporary WordPress is not possible because there is no second license.
Inserting individual elements via Cloud Library is also pointless because there are no other settings.
Is there any idea for this?
Now it’s behaving the opposite. All of the cloud library items are showing correctly when I’m logged in as admin but not through the browser logged out. The site is EUValorMedia.com
In the tagDiv editor, the header and footer, which are based on cloud templates, are no longer editable. They are just showing a bunch of code. The website itself displays correctly in the browser when not logged in, however. I’ve reverted to previous versions of Newspaper and have the same issues. Perhaps the new update broke something?
