In order to do that please check witch category template you have set ( https://www.screencast.com/t/axN9zawmfpd ), in my case is category template 3, you need to go in wp-content\themes\Newspaper\include\category_templates and select from there the category you have set ( be notice that you can have individual category template set on some category ) , once you get there, on the line with :

If you are using a category template from cloud template, then you need to edit the template from plugins cloud library.

Lets try together, first please go in cloud template , click on add new, select single and lets take the simple post template 14 ( https://www.screencast.com/t/12OAsdK2 https://www.screencast.com/t/F35vn5JIXR https://www.screencast.com/t/b1Eb42yAjX ), after you have finish with editing and save the change, you will find in posts the template to set for individual template ( https://www.screencast.com/t/yPhjpU8svxaV ) or in newspaper>theme panel>post settings > default post template for global post( individual post override the global post https://www.screencast.com/t/gFQ9NzTcl ), if you wish to edit the template you’ll find it in cloud template ( https://www.screencast.com/t/rgg0dXaE ).

We are glad you like the theme. Regarding your question, the predefined templates can’t be customized. Only the cloud post templates can be imported and customized with the tagDiv composer, or you can create your own design (with a blank template).

What functionality is missing exactly? In case we missed something it will be added.

Only posts can have reviews, posts with reviews will appear like this in modules

Post templates can be created just like pages now however, with the cloud library plugin and the tagDiv composer

All the review implementation (including structured data) is created only for posts, so there would be no way of displaying actual reviews in a page in the theme.

That’s unusual, so this plugin is causing the problems with the media library? That is the cloud library plugin. Do you use the latest theme version (9.0.1)?

You fine the author templates in Newspaper> Theme panel > Template settings > Author template; but if I understand correctly you’ll like to make some changes in author template page, to do that I recommend you to use cloud template, there you’ll find what you need, and you can edit it, or create a new template; to do that please activate tagDiv Cloud Library, see here our documentation about it: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/

Indeed, the ads when using cloud pops templates have to be entered in the template while editing it with the composer. Ads entered in the theme panel will not appear in cloud post templates, only in the default post templates.

Currently there are no settings per device, there will be in the future I believe. You could modify the adsense code and hide it for the screen sizes you want (bottom part of this guide)

You should create a custom template for Category pages where you can customize it as you wish. An example, you can use an Image Box and add through it a custom link which goes you to a subcategory you want. (just a suggestion). The differences between the themes are many

A couple of the main differences would be the multipurpose, wider (or full width) layout options, many more elements in the tagDiv composer that are possible only with the Newspaper theme. Also the cloud library plugin which is provided only with Newspaper.

Did you have tried to create your desired homepage using the Cloud Templates Library? Using this functionality, the theme allows you to use the TD Composer which gave you a lot of functionalities and elements which can be added to your template. Unfortunately, please notice that here is talking about two different things, the POST pages, and PAGE. The theme does not have any such an option that allows you to use the post template for page template, sorry! All of these has different functionalities. I suggest you use the Cloud Template Library to create your own template according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/

We recommend you to use tagDiv Composer for page builder, you can read about it here , also using tagDiv Composer you can use the templates from Cloud templates plugin, or your can create your own ones.
