Please note that in a page there can be multiple rows so make sure to check all of them for background color. Also if we’re talking about post pages you will have to edit only one template and that will apply on all of your posts. Unfortunately yes, even tough WP bakery is a tested plugin I personally wouldnât recommend using it. Since tagDiv Composer was created as our own page builder the developers are working on developing this plugin.
The lines you see are shortcodes that are being rendered only by the tagDiv Composer which is also a MUST HAVE plugin in order to run Newspaper Theme correctly.
You can use wp bakery on a page / post where there are NO tagDiv composer elements.

So the code from “step 1” need to be set where you want to display the content that will be provide from that code, this can be set in sidebar widgets, usually this type of code need to be set in a text element in text area -> http://prntscr.com/pzxlh8 or you can set it with tagDiv Composer on pages or cloud templates in column text element or text with title element in text area -> https://i.imgur.com/6p4lODa.png

If you have the last version of the theme ( Newspaper X) and you want to set the default style/template only, then you can get it from wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/single.php if you want the other styles/design too then you’ll need to get them from wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/parts/single/

I found documentation on WPML site (https://wpml.org/documentation/theme-compatibility/create-multilingual-wordpress-websites-using-the-newspaper-theme-and-wpml/) and it looks like I will need to declare the shortcodes used by TD Composer so that it can translate the individual elements. Is there any documentation on what the shortcodes are for the various elements used by TD Composer?
thx for the response. I understand what you wrote (and tested it). But that’s an incredibly complicated way to define the global background color. I have to create several templates and I need to edit them all separately?
And moreover: when I define the bg color of the main row in the tagdiv composer, there is still white space above and below that row (between the header and the content) Can I define the bg colour of the main content area for all pages and templates in one single place? How is this accomplished with the demo sites?
Hello – I am trying to EXCLUDE a post from showing on my homepage, by adding the post ID to the field “Exclude Post ID” inside the “Post Loop” Column type.
Doing this INCLUDES only the post ID added, the exact opposite effect. Am I doing this wrong? Is this feature working as intended?

i have the following question: I have a custom layout with four columns in tagdiv composer. They look nice on Desktop and stack on mobile, but on Tablet portrait they become too narrow for the intended content. Is there a setting or something so that the four column layout wraps to a two column layout in this viewport? Here is an image of what i mean:

I can not select template based on language from the theme panel. so it is either turkish or english.

This issue happens when updating from an older version of the theme so please make this adjustment in the tagdiv composer plugin:

Then hit a save in the theme panel and then revert the code back to original .this will make the social icons appear properly again.

Dear support,
due to editorial reasons, we need to set up an alternative title for posts and have the option to display it only in home page. This means that the post “Hello World” could have an alternative title “Goodbye World” and each block on the home page (created by using the tagdiv composer) should reflect the alternative title where this is set.
So basically, does the newspaper theme provide a hook used by all the modules where i can put some php logic in order to display one post title or the other?

I built my website wit TD composer. After installing your newest update, I am facing some issues. The website is not being displayed correctly. Even if I install the standard pack plugin. My question is, does it help when I create the whole website using your Cloud Templates. I mean when I rebuild the whole pages, category, single post and some custom pages.. Will my website be displayed correctly after updating the theme to Newspaper 10?

Hello, Tagdiv team. Home (Front page) When I say Edit with TD Composer This is the error. I cannot select any element or tool.
I can’t undo the operation. I’m surprised what to do.
The error message is this: Error at zones: 5 (models): 6 (dom). The model does not match the content. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL + Z / CTRL + SHIFT + Z)
My last transaction was this; at the bottom of the main page about the text and social icons I was editing. Then I gave this error when I saved the transaction.
Last time I was editing this area. After saying save this error came.
