Hello, I just purchased this theme and am trying to make changes to the home page (default Newspaper). I couldn’t simply delete two empty columns that were there with the Visual TD Composer. So I was thinking it would be straightforward to go into the page editor and edit the content directly. Boy was I wrong, the editing is horrible and the markup is not formatted in any way from the demo!

I wish I could share a screen shot but the shortcodes are all jumbled together and not only that wordpress minimizes the width of the page editor. I will have to copy and paste the text of the default newspaper homepage to another editor so I can make sense of it, make the changes, and then paste it back when done. How come the default demo content is so unstructured and all garbled together on what looks like one line? And also how come I can not do something as simple as delete an empty column in TD Composer? This is supposed to be easy and this is anything but to do the most basic editing!

I’m trying to setup my start page like the upper half of dutchreviews.com, namely the part directly below the newsticker. While looking through the forum I’ve found this topic https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-increase-width-of-main-content-section/ which points to the https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/full-big-grid-9/ demo.

I’ve tried setting up a page with TD_Composer using big grid 9 but the content does not extend to the full width of the page but stays on the same width level like the main menu.

Is that intentional or am I missing something?

Forgive me but I’m fresh on the Newspaper train, just downloaded it today. I have the composer and the plugins activated. When I go to make a new page, and edit with the TagDiv composer, I see the purple sidebar telling me Welcome to the tagdiv composer! Add element or load template buttons are there. But where my page is, is a giant white space,no header or footer or anywhere to drag and drop the elements to. When I drag and drop, it disappears, if that makes sense, it doesn’t actually drop, just drags.

Not sure if I’m doing something wrong, or if there’s a plug in of mine conflicting with it…but, help! I’m excited to get started building my new design.

Purchased this theme 2 days back. created a new static homepage. But today when i posted new article and tried to make some updates to the homepage, the changes are not getting reflected.

I am updating my site tonight and the TD composer doesn’t want to save. When I click save it keeps spinning and spinning. Sometimes when I click the button to View the Page, the new changes are there, sometimes not. It is important that I am able to save my page.

Another issue is when I open TD composer to edit a page created with TD composer, it says, “Success: The current content page hasn’t been created by TagDiv Composer!” Can you help me? I restarted my iMac but that didn’t make any difference.

I’m running a multisite with the Newspaper theme however, TD Composer isn’t saving the changes I make on the home page.

I have just installed WordPress 4.9.9. Everything is fresh new: my domain, my hosting… I downloaded Newspaper 9 just because of the TG Composer, because I am very new in all this. However, the video tutorials coming with the installation specify once the TG Composer plugin is activated, the tools menu on the left hand side should automatically appear, which has not happened at any moment, no matter how many times I try.

I migrated my website from a sub domain to the main domain and the TagDiv composer option vanished. The plugin is installed and showing as active, but it is no longer an option on any page. Any suggestions for how to get it back?

I have an idea for personalization, and wonder if it is possible.

I would like to give logged-in users a place where they can choose tags they are interested in (some sort of profile page, which I suppose I can figure out).

Then, I would like to present them a page where only posts with those tags are displayed.

Obviously, I could build a separate page for each member, but that is a maintenance nightmare.

So, I want a TD Composer page where I can add blocks with filtering based on the the user that is viewing the page. One page, that responds to the currently-logged-in user’s preferences. (Persons who are not logged in would not be able to see the page, I think.)

Is it possible to have blocks on a page be set to do this type of dynamic filtering? Or, is it possible to have even a standard blog page do dynamic filtering like this?

Thanks for any help you can give, or any pointers to plugins or ways of doing this.

ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE

I have made all updates, cleared the cache and browser. Any other suggestions?

I keep having the same issue when using TagDiv composer. When I add a link, it does not save and instead saves as “#”. I have tried multiple times and ways to get it to save correctly, but the link always disappears and is instead saved as “#”. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello. I created my site layout using tagDiv Composer. Now when I try to enter the Composer to edit my page is not working. I am getting the following massage on chrome: ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE.

Cloud templates have always worked well, but the latest update fails to load any from dashboard ‘All templates’ imported ones ar ok of course, but the library faile to load.

It’s the first update that has caused this issue – it just shows a completely blank white screen

Have re-installed 9.1 and problem is solved – plugins tested by deactivating and that isn’t the issue

Does anyone have a solution at all or had had this same issue? Don’t want to update again until can be sure all is well with Cloud Templates

Hope someone can help. I’ve recently come across an issue in TD composer where I can no longer add text to a ‘title with text’ element or ‘column text’ element.

When I open up the window to add text the window shows but the visual element are not there and there and I can’t select the box to start typing. This is the same when I select the code input method.

I’m wondering weather this could be because of the updated WordPress editor so I downloaded the Classic editor to see if it would make a difference but to no avail.

Hi, my website popcornscreen.com , i have yoast,sitemap,im indexed in google sarch,all of this i have green light,without error,and before 3 days i sign up for google adsense,got code , i pasted in theme panel header ad, and sidebar ad, i use tagdiv composer and i use adbox on front of homepage at sidebar and i selected sidebarad but after 3 days my ads doesnt show up,pls help

Please highlight future plans regarding Gutenberg:

I have activated Gutenberg for my site and installed few plugins (like stackable, atomic blocks, etc.) to increase numbers of blocks. My query is that what is the near future plan of Newspaper theme in this regard, whether you people will works on this (means add various blocks in the theme to supports in the gutenberg editor). If this is the case then I will avoid using extra plugins else I will go with these plugins. If it is in your plan, then what is the expected timeline.
What will be the fate of tagdiv page builder or visual composer.
