Hello,
I am experiencing an issue with the TagDiv Composer integration in the article editor.
Environment:
WordPress Version: 6.7.2
Newspaper Theme Version: 12.7.5
TagDiv Composer Version: 5.4.4
Problem:
The “Edit with TagDiv Composer” button does not appear in the admin toolbar when editing articles. Additionally, the “TagDiv Post Options” panel is completely missing from the Gutenberg sidebar. This means I cannot access post-specific settings such as labels, post options or individual layouts for articles.
Already tried:
Deactivated and reactivated TagDiv Composer plugin
Cleared browser cache
Downgraded WordPress from 6.9.4 to 6.7.2
Checked that TagDiv Composer is active in the plugin list
Additional info:
The TagDiv Composer works correctly for page/homepage building. The issue only affects individual post/article editing. All articles were created in Gutenberg.
Please advise on how to resolve this issue.
Thank you in advance.
Hi,
I think that you have used the theme panel translate option – https://forum.tagdiv.com/customize-a-translation/, but you need to know that there are pages and cloud templates that have custom text set with tagDiv Composer and need to be edited with the builder, select the text and change it https://i.imgur.com/WGK7DD0.png
Thank you!
Hello, I don’t know how to fix this but my theme at chaindlk.com appears completely broken when accessed from the public side, but it looks when I am logged in as admin.
I have of course opened the theme in a new private browser window to make sure I am not seeing a cached version.
I checked on both Safari and Chrome.
I’ve also updated to the last version of Newspaper and tagDiv composer and I’ve deactivated both and re-activated both.
I’m at a loss.
Can somebody please tell me how I can troubleshoot this?
Hi Marcos,
Our theme do not have this kind of functionality, but it can be achieved using an extra plugin, something like:
– Feedzy RSS Feeds
– WP RSS Aggregator
https://prnt.sc/noEU2vUl2rpq
1. Open tagDiv Composer
2. Add a Shortcode block or shortcode element
3. Paste the RSS shortcode from the plugin
Example: [feedzy-rss feeds=”https://englishsite.com/feed” max=”5″]
Hi,
You need to edit the homepage using tagDiv Composer, then select the element and, using the right click on it select the delete option https://prnt.sc/1YkHwYIC5EVN
Hi,
Yes, it should work. Set it on each company, and there is no longer a need to set the shortcode with the tagDiv Composer.
Thank you!
Hi,
You need to select in tagDiv Composer the element image info box and look for the horizontal align in the general tab – https://prnt.sc/ybcAACP5znKu
Thank you!
Hi,
Wordpress and the theme do not have this functionality, but it can be achieved using a plugin.
Plugins for Guest Authors (no WP user needed)
Co‑Authors Plus – Classic choice; supports multiple authors per post.
PublishPress Authors – Easy profiles, author boxes, and archives.
Simple Author Box – Lightweight author box + custom guest info.
WP Author Box Lite – Profile box with social links.
Guest Author Name and URL – Very simple guest name/URL override.
Using ACF (Advanced Custom Fields)
Instead of a plugin, you can: Create custom fields for guest author details:
Name
Bio
Photo
Website / Social links
Then edit the single post template with tagDiv Composer and add teh custom field element, in it select teh acf filed to display the author info on the post.
Hi,
What you can do is to use a carousel from Revolution Slider and set it with tagDiv Composer at the top of the homepage https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-install-revolution-slider-v5/ – https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-revolution-sliders-on-demos-prebuilt-websites/

Hi,
It appears that you are using the Free News demo, so in order to change/edit the logo, you need to use the tagDiv Composer, edit the homepage and select the logo, then select the svg tab and remove the svg code, after that you can add your own svg, image or/and text logo https://forum.tagdiv.com/add-logo-newspaper/
Hi,
My website (https://tech-fz.com/) has grown to a certain scale, and I have started receiving collaboration offers from various brands.
I am planning to place product unboxing articles at the very top of my homepage and want to present them in a “carousel/rotating” format.
What is the best way or which specific element in tagDiv Composer should I use to achieve the most ideal and professional effect for this?
Thank you.
I am trying to change logo in sticky header for Free News design, but it is not possible to click on logo to change svg. Is there another way to change the logo?
I managed to select column (and row), but not the element inside, which is logo.
Sticky header appears when you scroll down a bit in page…

Hi,
The menu can be created under Dashboard> Appearance> Menu https://prnt.sc/pqei0GsTurlp
To assign it on a header, you need to edit that cloud header with tagDiv Composer, then select the mobile viewport after that you have 2 elements that can be used for the mobile menu: https://prnt.sc/eJcQc0R0zpCc
– Mobile horizontal menu (already used on this demo) https://prnt.sc/UN1q8xVNZRll
– Mobile menu element – https://prnt.sc/D12KGEObTLon
Thank you!
Hi,
The demo you’re using includes two headers: one for when the theme is transparent, and another for when it is not.
The non-transparent header is set as the global default. For any pages or templates where you want to use the transparent header, you’ll need to edit them with tagDiv Composer. Open the Manager, go to the Header section, and change it to “Header Template – Trucking.” Once you click on this option and it turns green, it means the header has been individually assigned to that specific page or template – https://prnt.sc/uOTTcXqc9AL7
Thank you!
Hi,
To access pages with IDs 399 and 404, the simplest and safest solution in Composer is to duplicate the page and replace the current ID (https://prnt.sc/wOW8_hGfVCyD) with 399. Make your edits, save the page, and then replace the ID with 404.
If you want to display the map, you need to use the Single External Shortcode element. If that doesn’t provide the desired result, try using the External Shortcode element instead, as these elements render slightly differently.
Hi,
The zones refer to the header/content/footer zone.
Most of the time, the problem is from a shortcode that is not compatible with our theme; therefore, after you set it with tagDiv Composer and save the page, the next time you try to edit it, you’ll get that error. The simplest and fastest way to resolve it is to use a page/template revision – https://wordpress.com/support/page-post-revisions/ (in this case will be a post template revision).
I hope this will help you!
Hello,
I’m wondering if someone can help. In my TD composer I have a block, “Block 1” which is built of two columns. Left column is Module 4, a query showing a single article. Right column has four queries (single posts) of Module 6. Module 4 shows the comment count, the Module 6 posts do not. In global options (Theme panel –> Block settings –> Meta info for Modules/Blocks), comment count is turned on. Is there a way to add it to the Module 6 divs in that block?
Thanks!

For example: see “MND_Business” category section on the homepage.
I cannot access Tagdiv Composer editor only at this one (most important) page
Hi,
The settings for this element can be configured directly within the tagDiv Composer on the Instagram widget element.
If you only want to translate or edit the text “Follow us on Instagram,” you can do so from Theme Panel → Translations. In the translations section, simply look for the text “Follow us on Instagram” and update it as needed – https://prnt.sc/oMnjon0t7C1o – https://prnt.sc/aEWd5L–l2V2

Hi,
Our Newspaper theme provides more options to set the mobile version:
1. Responsive Desktop Version – The default responsive layout that adjusts to mobile screens using tagDiv Composer – https://i.imgur.com/apZQZ0o.png
2. Mobile Page/Template – A custom mobile layout that can be created using the tagDiv Composer.
3. tagDiv Mobile Theme Plugin – A separate mobile theme that provides a dedicated mobile experience but is limited in edits and changes.
Note: When the tagDiv Mobile Theme Plugin is activated, it takes priority and will be displayed on mobile devices. If it’s not active, the system will check for a mobile page/template built with tagDiv Composer. If neither of these is in use, the responsive desktop version will be shown by default.
In this situation, since you’d like a different mobile version for mobile, you should use option 2.
Thank you!
Hi,
1. The edits that can be done are with tagDiv Composer on the single post template on the element by selecting the Single Post Table of Contents https://i.imgur.com/SuJasnF.png
2. From the element, you can exclude the headings that you are using for FAQ part https://prnt.sc/xXxehPpJf8Bb
Thank you!
Hello,
I’m using the Newspaper theme on my website and I’m experiencing an issue with the homepage behavior on mobile devices.
I have created a specific page intended to be used as the mobile homepage:
https://www.larepublica.cat/2026-marc-mobile/
This page works correctly when accessed directly.
However, when visiting the main homepage:
https://www.larepublica.cat/
Logged-in users sometimes see a different version (closer to the intended mobile layout)
Regular visitors (not logged in) always see the default homepage, not the mobile version
My goal is to have a different homepage for mobile devices, ideally loading the mobile-specific page instead of the default homepage.
Could you please advise:
Is there any built-in functionality in Newspaper to assign a different homepage for mobile devices?
Can this be achieved using tagDiv Composer or theme settings?
Could caching or theme options be causing the different behavior between logged-in and non-logged users?
If needed, I can provide screenshots or access details.
Thank you in advance for your support.
Best regards,
Hi,
I will try to explain it better this time.
You need to use tagDiv Composer, edit the homepage and select the blocks where you want to disable the clicks and add the class “disable-click” in the general tab in extra class – https://i.imgur.com/Fimm5LS.png, then based on the above code you used repalce it with this one:
body .disable-click .td-image-wrap {
pointer-events: none;
}
or
body .disable-click .td-module-container,
body .disable-click .td_module_wrap {
pointer-events: none;
}
Hi,
There is no default template for pages. Each one can be created, duplicated, and customized using tagDiv Composer as you prefer.
For pages, you’ll need to edit them individually with tagDiv Composer and add the row containing the ad. You can easily copy this row by right-clicking on it, then paste it into each page using tagDiv Composer.
Regarding the header, the desktop header is different from the mobile header. Therefore, if you set something on the desktop header and want it to appear on mobile as well, you’ll need to switch to the mobile viewport in tagDiv Composer and add the element in the header section: https://i.imgur.com/Vc8V7kP.png
Thank you!
Hi,
The Instagram account should be set in the theme panel, after that it can be set on the website using tagDiv Composer and the Instagram element. For more details, you can check our guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/instagram-widget/
