Hello,
Sorry but there is no tutorial at the moment for landing pages. You have to use the multi-purpose elements from the tagdiv composer.
First, you can use a blank page template: https://www.screencast.com/t/vhw5VqKcp so your page will not show the header or footer. Then you can start building your page with the tagdiv. These few videos should help:
Thanks.
Hi,
You can design your website to look in any way you want. The tagDiv composer and multi-purpose plugin elements already offer many possibilities, there are more new ones to come. Some demo videos about the page builder here

We also provide many demos that can be installed, or you can create your own unique design

Hi,
So the problem is only when using the composer on the page that contains that button code. Then the problem is there. The composer may not react properly with some custom codes added in pages. There is a button element in the elements list if you want to use one
– https://www.screencast.com/t/yLKi9TJXh
The tagDiv composer was built with some similarities shortcode wise to Visual composer, to ensure a smoother transition for those who chose it

Hi,
There was a flickering issue that happened in the Chrome browser, when editing with the tagDiv composer. We fixed it however in our latest theme version
– https://www.screencast.com/t/qJeIyD5LwV
So you should update the theme and theme plugins if possible, there will be no more problems

Thanks
Hi. I’m using Newsmag 4.3. I’m looking for someway to assign a different look to certain parts of my site – preferably by using a different demo look. Is that possible? Also I’ve updated the latest jscomposer plugin and it does not show up on the pages.
I like to hide Ad-Blocks until I need them. In the css tab I found the “Display”-attribute with the values “show” and “hidden”. Hiding was no problem. But how do I find the hidden Element in TagDiv-Composer? The Composer doesn’t show the hidden Element anymore. So I can’t put it back on “show”.
According to the Sucuri site scanner the Spam SEO content is the following:
Code:
<body class=”archive category category-reward category-71 global-block-template-1 td-blog-travel td_category_template_4 td_category_top_posts_style_5 wpb-js-composer js-comp-ver-4.11.2 vc_responsive td-animation-stack-type0 td-full-layout” itemscope=”itemscope” itemtype=”https://schema.org/WebPage”><div style=”position:absolute;top:0;left:-9999px;”>
All for Joomla
All for Webmasters
</div>
You can verify that opening the page https://www.luxurylifestyle.co/category/reward/ for example and inspect the code via Chrome or FireFox:
The theme template Newspaper is loading the malicious SEO script. You will need to check all the theme files or reinstall it.
1. If you don’t think you need to make any changes to the main theme core files, then you do not need a child theme. Here are the files that can be changed via a child theme https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/.
2. The custom CSS is saved in your database. So, you will not lose the custom changes on theme update. But to be safe, always backup your site before updating the theme.
3. The Custom CSS panel is the recommended way by the theme developers to add custom CSS. If you want to add the CSS to the main theme, you would have to make changes to the main style.css file by looking at the main instances where each code appears and make the changes there, but you would need to backup the file (and redeploy the changes with each new theme update) or the changes will be overwritten with each update. The custom CSS panel works for both the main theme and the child theme.
4. Again, see this tutorial on how to use the child theme https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/.
5. TD composer is a page builder specifically built and configured to be used with the Newspaper theme. It will continue to receive updates in future and the theme developers recommend it over visual composer. However, the visual composer will still continue to be bundled together with the theme. It is not recommended to use both page builders at the same time. So, it is your choice really on what you want to use between the two (I personally use td composer).
6. The tagDiv Multi-Purpose adds additional elements to the TD composer. It is more beneficial for building landing pages. Read more about it here https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-8-5-update-what-s-new/.
(FYI, I don’t work here).
I was upload the theme and activated. When try to edit my page with “TAG DIV COMPOSER” getting this error page only internaly.
i was deactivated and deleted all plugins-not worked
clead cache browser and wp_ not worked
please help me
thanks
First, give me some answer to my question.
1) Is it necessary to create a child theme?
2) If I update my theme in future will I lose all custom CSS if I don’t have a child theme already?
3) I have added all my CSS to a theme panel custom CSS CODE field, is there any way to add that CSS directly to theme? If yes then where to add, in the parent theme, or in a child theme?
4) If a child theme is really good for safety then please guide me step by step to create a child theme of my parent theme.
5) In plugin section, there is two-page builder plugin one is td -composer another one is wp bakery page builder, Is it necessary to keep both or one is enough to build any page? If one is enough then which one should I use.
6)How to use tagDiv Multi-Purpose? And how can i take benefit from this plugin?
I hope I will get all answer.
The only thing I can tell is that i’m using Custom Html Element.
In the custom html element is code that i’ve copied in google chrome inspect (a button code)…..needed to do this bc i don’t see a way in getting button shortcode into wordpress dashboard…I need the shortcode so i can add a css class to a tag so i can use modal effect for a contact form..
when i went to wp side and saw the code (which i realize i can now grab the shortcode)…i see what looks like VC (visual composer?) text…i’m not using visual composer (not installed or activated).
also, within the code i see unintelligible letters that seems encrypted
I Diasbled plugin and still receive error.
I also didn’t save this page elsewhere (on WP side)….I’ve only be using TD Composer
Getting this error.
Trying to build page with td composer and receiving this error: Errors happened during tdcIframeData.init() -> bindViewsModelsWrappers()!
I began seeing this error using Popup Maker plugin.
It’s quite annoying and getting nothing done.
Hello k2point0,
TD Composer is just a required plugin and if you want to use Newsletter you should install it.
Thanks.
Hello macmandk,
Yes, the latest version of the TD Composer is included in the latest zip file from Themeforest. Check your version and update it. Clear all the caches and see the results.
Hope that help!
Thanks.
Hi,
An element specific for this does not exist in the composer or multi-purpose plugin at the moment. I will add this on our list however, and it might be introduced in the future.
Thank you for your suggestion.
Can the Read More button be placed in the page to shorten the long content. I’m not talking about the post. I’m talking about shortening long row. With all the contents. How do I do it using TD composer.
If this is not possible, do you have such a plan in the future?

I’m sorry, my English is not good.
Hi,
That would be a very old version of theme, if I understand correctly you are still using theme version 6. It is always recommended to keep both WordPress and the theme up to date. Updating just one or none when updates are available is not the best practice.
Much has changed in the theme since then. Please check the changelog at the bottom of the theme presentation page
– https://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/5489609
Update the theme by FTP if possible, that would be the best method to update. Make a backup before updating
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
A thing to note is that once you update the tagDiv composer (introduced in 8.0) will be automatically activated. Visual composer elements in pages may not display properly if the tagDiv composer is active. Deactivate it and leave Visual composer (now named WP Bakery page builder) active. Update Visual composer and there should be no issues
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Be sure to check if there are sufficient resources allocated for a optimal performance
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Check the theme system status and if needed ask your hosting provider to increase those parameters.
Le us know if you encounter any issues and we will try to help you as best we can.
Thanks
Oh. Will the TD Composer not update with the theme?
If not, is the latest version of the composer included in the zip file in Themeforest?
Hello,
The latest version of TD Composer on Newsmag should have to be 2.2.
Thanks.
Hello k2point0,
Notice that you cannot use the Newsletter plugin if you do not install the TD Composer. Why did you not installed the TD Composer?
Thanks.
Hi,
The first thing to check would be the theme requirements, system status section
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
It is imperative that the parameters mentioned in the guide are configured properly. Insufficient resources can cause many issues with the theme or the plugins, if needed ask your hosting provider to increase them as specified.
If there is no need for modifications in that matter, in some cases the solutions from these topics worked for blank pages and other composer problems, you could give them a try if possible
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/gray-page-tagdiv/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/javascript-error-td-composer-wont-load/
Additionally try deactivating all plugins as a quick test, leave only theme plugins active. Check if this has any effect.
Let us know the results after trying these suggestions. Be sure to use the tagDiv composer on pages that were created with it only or on new pages.
Thanks
