I’ve read a few posts here about blank admin issue when activating TD Composer in v.8.7.1. Is this a known issue and is a fix expected? I need to create about 25 pages that I had started before this update, and now I’m stuck. I can revert back to v 8.6, but will eventually want to update and already suspect that I’ll need to reformat several elements on these pages (for example, titles no longer centered in new version). Trying to figure out a new timeline. Please advise.
All my other pages will work.

When I create a page with tagDiv Composer all goes well until I save the changes in the composer and add a feature image or some info for SEO Yoast and save the draft. If I go back all disappeared (no HTML code in it).
I installed the latest version of the theme 8.7.1 and updated the TD composer to 2.1 but I still have the same issue.

The Internal Server error is most likely being caused by a request limit / timeout in your hosting settings due to the theme being quite big in size.

I am using the Animal News template as a model. It seems to me that it uses the Visual Composer and not the tagDiv Composer. Now you are suggesting to move to tagDiv Composer. Can you suggest the best way to proceed?
1 – Can I have some pages made with Visual Composer and others with tagDiv Composer?
2 – Can I disable Visual Composer even if the pages –I am referring to the demo pages– have been created with Visual Composer?
3 – Is it best if I recreate everything with tagDiv Composer, even the pages from the demo?
4- Or do you plan to reconstruct the demos using tagdiv Composer?

i bought the Theme today, sadly i am getting internal server error when trying to install the theme via WordPress.
I then uploaded the theme manualy via ftp which worked out and activated it but when trying to install the “required plugins” located in the package i get the error message: Failed to install plugin td-composer. Plugin does not have a valid header.
I am reading about a lot of problems with 8.7 in this forums and on the envato reviews. Is this also a 8.7 related issue? You guys are telling people to revert to 8.6 for the time being.
Does the 8.6 version have php7 support?

Download the latest theme version (8.7.1) and try again to install it. Check if the composer and multi-purpose plugin have been updated automatically (composer – 2.1 multi-purpose – 2.0). Update them manually if they have not. Let us know.
All those sliders in the td composer labelled “big grid full” allow you to achieve just that without css.
Just copy the code inside the page in the editor and then create a new page and paste it there (Also save the code somewhere else as a backup in case you want to roll back changes). Open the page with td composer and edit (or tweak) the page as you want. Once done, just copy the edited code and paste back to the previous page that you have set as your homepage. Preview it and if it is the way you want, then just save the page. Though it is simple to just edit the page as it is coz no one will see it until you update the changes. (That’s what I do, and I don’t work here btw).

If you create a new page and use the composer mode. When I do like that I can only find add element for the whole witdh. It will mean that my sidebanner i have connect from the widgets, will be att the bottom of the site. Please visit http://www.futsalmagasinet.no to see what i mean.
I want the right sidebanner to be next to articles at the top.

Enter that code in Theme panel->Custom CSS. Regarding the social counter, I see you have managed to add it on the page. If you want to position it differently, edit the page with the composer and move it.

Please keep in mind that you have updated the theme to the latest version of it which is v8.7.1. Yes, you need to install the TD Composer (v2.1), TD Multi-Purpose plugin if you want to achieve best theme results. The theme update should have to be made via FTP way according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/

You can install the tagdiv composer just as any other plugin. You can access the plugins section and press the add new plugin button and then upload it from the main theme package under the plugins folder.
As for the customization, we do not have a customization department so we cannot offer any custom work at the moment. You can hire a freelancer from sites like studio.envato.com

the social counter is not tied to the tagdiv composer. Please enable the social counter plugin. They are separate plugins.
If you use both visual composer and the tagdiv composer there will be layout issues especially regarding images on pages. Please do not use both page builders.

Please provide some more details about what you are trying to do and what it’s happening. Details about how exactly is that side banner implemented on the page would be helpful. Elements should remain in the locations where you place them, when building the page with composer.

Indeed there seems to be an issue, when there are custom font properties set in the theme panel, these will override the ones made in the composer style tab. It is happening only for grids from what I can see. I will add this on our list and we will fix the problem as soon as possible. Sorry for the inconvenience.

The tagdiv composer is not mandatory to be used with our theme. It will install automatically in the current version of the theme so if you do not use the tagdiv composer, you should disable it as it will cause issues with our theme. Let us know if you still have issues after disabling the tagdiv composer plugin.

There have been many changes since the version you are using currently. In version 8 the tagDiv composer was introduced as the main page builder

This new editor can have an impact on pages created with Visual composer. It is activated by default when the theme is updated or installed. Simply deactivate it in the plugins section if there are problems and the website should display properly.
Visual composer is still provided in the theme package

Also custom code or theme modifications you might be using with the current version, might not work properly with the latest update.
As an important note, please make a backup of the website as it is always recommended. So please try to update and let us know if there are problems. I could mention there are currently some issues in the theme latest update that happen for some users, we are working to fix them quickly and will release a new update as soon as possible.

I’ve tried to update to the latest Newspaper 8.7.1 and it shows a blank page when I’m in the admin page.
I’ve also try to use the new TD_Composer but it doesn’t seem to help too.

I have been using Query Debug, and it seems i get 500+ queries per page. It seems really high, and most come from theme, TD composer and jetpack. Any insight on how to keep these down?
