This is a strange issue. We have not encountered it before. It could be a conflict somewhere so please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
If the issue is still there afterwards, please contact us on our email address at contact@tagdiv.com and provide a link to your site and wp-admin (login information and admin rights) so we can login and investigate. Please also include a link to this conversation.

Hi,
Please try to disable all your other plugins except the tagDiv composer, clear any caching installed. The create a new page and try adding the video playlist with some videos and see if it works properly.

I cannot say for sure where the errors appear on your site but they do not seem to be css related.

I have updated to v8 and I have the same problem. Why suddenly Visual composer is the bad guy? And is it just me, or tagDiv composer plugin activates itself if I deactivate it? It says it’s required, but for what, page editing? What if I want to stick with plain editing?

Hi,
Please note that there is no rush to make the transition form Visual composer to the new tagDiv composer. What you need to do is basically recreate your page the way you want using the new page editor, and when it is ready simply set that one as your homepage. So the new page has to be created entirely in the tagDiv composer.
It is not hard to use this editor, and the majority the elements form Visual composer are available in it.
Just follow the transition guide provided above and everything should work as intended.

I have inspected your website and I did not saw any Image Box element, sorry! Did I miss it? I guess that you are referring to this TD Composer element, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/jqeFueF6tPB Notice that I have checked on my side this element and it seems to work as expected and the image links are working fine. Please provide some useful screenshots with your problem so I can identify them on your website and also, so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.

Hello,
I tried installing newspaper 8 on my website today, and it installs. The problem is when I try to install the composer. It says:
The plugin does not have a valid header.
Downloading install package from https://www……
Download failed. Not Found
Return to tagDiv plugins panel
I checked the theme directory it has the plugin in the plugins directory. I also tried uploading it manually and it activates, but once I try to download a demo, it deactivates and gets deleted.
I deactivated all plugins and everything from the website and the same issue keeps occurring.
I thought it was permissions problem so I set my directory permissions as follows:
sudo chown -R www-data:www-data /var/www
sudo chmod -R 775 /var/www
that didn’t change a thing though.
What should I do?
Hello everyone, I am new to using the td-composer but to my understanding, you need to drag and drop in the section to the right. It doesn’t work. Also I get this message when I try to edit my homepage but does go away: “The current content page hasn’t been created by TagDiv Composer!”

Tons of elements of our (very large) website are built using the WPBakery Visual Composer. Are you saying I must rebuild all those pages with the new tagdiv composer in order for the site to work and render in the future? *sigh*
I have a problem I believe many others have also. I am using your updated newspaper 8. I know it uses TagDiv. In your documentation, I seemed to read that I will also need Visual Composer. I went to purchase Visual Composer. I install it, but does not give me the opportunity to activate it. So first question, do I need visual composer to take full advantage of the TagDiv Composer? If yes, why is it not working?
Second problem is, when I tried to create a new page using TagDiv Composer, it’s not allowing me to move and drop elements.
Is there any thing I need to do first?
In summary, with the new Newspaper 8, I am unable to move and drop elements to create my new home page. And also my new visual composer is not allowing me to activate it.

I’m having a problem.
I have pages on the site where I use the viual composer.
However, after I updated the theme, the visual composer stopped working. In fact, the columns disappeared.
It only came back up after I deactivated tagDiv Composer.
How I fix this? I would like to test the tagDiv Composer, however I can not leave the page with problem.

As the link show is what I did enter however only show again a blank black background no video “using td composer visual composer is off.
Video are there and working. Been using that for a long time with this theme.
I also get this error – Errors happened during tdcIframeData.init() -> bindViewsModelsWrappers()!
When I try to edit the homepage with TagDiv Composer (which I tried to recreate first but could not do in the first place)
As per the instructions, I tried to recreate the pages (Create new pages to replicate the old ones) with TD Composer. However, nothing works when I try to drag and drop an element – nothing happens – nothing gets added or deleted.
What am I doing wrong?
Btw, I have Visual Composer disabled.

1. I will edit the homepage with tagDiv Composer, just open it in tagDiv Composer then save without any modifies? So, the homepage will run normally? and the next update It is automatically, I have no need do nothing?
2. I tried deactivate “WPBakery Visual Composer”, the website run normally, so can I delete this plugin, only keep tagDiv Composer?

Since the last update of the Newspaper, I am having problems with the pictures. All the pictures have turned rectangular instead of square, and some transformed into a square instead of round. Also, they are not clear like before. Here is a screenshot: http://www.screencast.com/t/fux14xeT

The update on the loading speed has dropped drastically to red something goes. I think it was a mistake to release the visual composer of tagDiv since it does not have basic elements like conbinales columns, buttons and many others.
