Hi,

If the blocks show as code you need to click on Backend editor – https://www.screencast.com/t/hOLCV9ob and you will be able to use the editor – https://www.screencast.com/t/U2bMvgjwe5 You can find more about Visual composer here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/
I’m sorry I missed the second question, the page template with latest articles will always display that feature at the bottom of the page after your content, as specified here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/ What you could do is to select the default page template with no latest articles – https://www.screencast.com/t/iOZequzj and create a block with the title Latest articles and position it wherever you want in the page – https://www.screencast.com/t/MiA3WQq3Z7W and use any content and sorting you want – https://www.screencast.com/t/RiCNYKchTMZK

Thanks

Hello serfarecom,

Please ensure that your system status is correct setup according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ Also, make sure that you are using the latest version of Visual Composer which come bundled with the theme packet. For more information about this, please consult here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/update-the-visual-composer-plugin-wpbakery/

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Thanks for the message!

Hi,

This could be caused by a plugin or a plugin conflict so please try to disable all plugins except Visual Composer to rule this out, and also clear the cache and reset cdn files if you use it to see if the problem is still there.

Thanks

Hello,

The ajax filter should put the links automatically if you add the ajax filter data. Please use this guide to display content in the ajax filter: https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
If the filter does not populate properly, please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Thank you!

Hello,

You will need the access token for the plugin to work. It will not work without it. Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Then try to get the access token again.
Without the access token the plugin cannot pull the proper info.

Thank you!

Hello,

I’m not sure exactly how you want a pop-up image. I assume a lighbox is what you are after. You can add a single image element on pages using the visual composer element: https://www.screencast.com/t/YwU3NtXz
and set it to open in a lightbox from the element settings.

Thank you!

Hello Ylli,

Please try to delete it and install it again from the theme packet files. You should install the Visual Composer plugin which comes bundled with the theme packet. Remove the old version of this plugin and install the right one via FTP. For more information about how you can install the Visual Composer, please consult our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/update-the-visual-composer-plugin-wpbakery/ Clear all your caches, purge CDN files and check the results. Also, check your system status and also, setup it according to our guide here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/

Thanks for your understanding!

I turned off my child theme and loaded the Newspaper theme (most recent version Jan 17,2017 uploaded version) as the default theme.

I turned off all the plugins including visual composer. Cleared cache. No CDN. No custom code.

I am still having the problem of duplicate posts. I checked to make sure it was loading the same post and it wasn’t a duplicate post issue. It is loading the same post with the same timestamp and slug.

Not sure what else to check…

Hi,

Please note that like it is specified above by Edward you do not need to activate Visual composer and do not worry in this regard, it is already activated and you can use it without any restrictions. You do not have to worry about the plugin update warnings. If you have any other issues regarding Visual Composer please provide more information about the nature of this problem.

Thanks

Hi,

You could just install the demo you want – https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/ and take it from there, then further personalize it to your liking by editing and changing the page in Visual composer if you want, or just add your own content to it.

Thanks

Hello,

I have inspected your site and saw tha issue. You have a redirect on your link: https://www.screencast.com/t/Y3cuuQGW20
It could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Hello,

Unfortunately there is no global font in our theme. The fonts are particular everywhere and they come from the theme, and from visual composer. That is the reason why we cannot use a global font as visual composer adds it;s own fonts to it’s own elements and our license agreement will not let us modify anything from the plugin.
You can try this topic to get rid of the google fonts: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/do-i-really-need-to-change-all-the-text-fields-for-fonts/
Unfortunately for these changes, you can only edit the main theme. sorry. There is no simple hook to use in the child theme.

Thank you!

Hi,

You do not need to buy or activate the Visual composer plugin because the theme includes an activated license for it. It will be updated along with the theme and included in the plugins folder, also do not worry about Visual composer update warnings. Please follow these tutorials about using Visual composer editor to create a homepage and setting it as a static page – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/https://forum.tagdiv.com/homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/ or if you want to have a blog style where all your posts are displayed on the front page, you can change the template for the articles in Theme panel->Template settings->Blog and posts template – https://www.screencast.com/t/joEKmSMkkY0

Thanks

Hello,

Please read this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-use-visual-composer/ and you will see that we only recommend using visual composer on pages, not on posts. Posts already have text blocks (text does not need to be added in a text box to show on a post) and already provides lists (bulleted or not) from the tiny mce editor.
It can be changed with css but it;s simpler to just not use VC to set up simple text or lists.
2. again, please use the default post editor and not VC for lists and text.

Thank you!

The theme scroll bar is a very very thin line that will not take up much of the screen but the css seems to be replaced with the bulky default scroll bar.

Thank you!

Hello,

Sorry but unfortunately the mobile theme template cannot be changed at the moment. You cannot replace blocks with other ones as the mobile theme does not use visual composer. It was created specifically to only use the elements you see.

Thank you!

Hi,

You can create a page with all the elements you want in Visual composer editor and then set it as a static homepage. Hi,

You could just remove Latest articles if you do not want it on your page by selecting the default template in page attributes – https://www.screencast.com/t/eInvqG5bc and then by editing your page in Visual composer editor, change the position of block 12 which is the Most Popular block by dragging it to be the last element on the page after the custom ad – https://www.screencast.com/t/ibrIDZH3QVEOhttps://www.screencast.com/t/cxZ5miZT Please corect me if I misunderstood you.

Thanks

Hello,
Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Then install the mobile theme before all the other plugins.
