Hello,
I updated the theme as visual composer is still the old version. I had read on the forum that you would only be updated with the new version of the theme, but it is not.
While tagDiv Social Counter does not work properly if the active I go out these errors:
1) Warning: Can not modify header information – headers already sent by (started at /home/maltapla/public_html/viraldazed.com/wp-content/plugins/td-social-counter/td-social-counter.php:3) output / home / maltapla / public_html / viraldazed.com / wp-content / plugins / sg-cachepress / class-sg-cachepress.php on line 335
2) The plugin generated unexpected output of 4 characters During activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.

I am attempting to display a header logo that is wider than the specified 272px using Header Style 10. I have uploaded the image file that is larger than 272px wide (544×190) and it cuts off the image such that only 250px (not sure why 250px). Here is how it looks on my staging site (all plugins except Visual Composer disabled and all custom css removed: https://www.screencast.com/t/RkkAmpvafmZk I am also running version 7.6 of Newspaper theme.
Am I missing something?

How do I get the same style author box as it is shown on a standard post on a new page?
I like the layout of the box as it comes with a standard post. I want to create a page that lists all the authors, also with their bio. But when I add the author box in visual composer to a new page, the bio text doesn’t show. How do I get the bio to show up?

See the WordPress.org codex (the ‘docs’ for WordPress), on how to edit the wp-config.php file to increase base memory limit; WP defaults to 40M, and it should be 96M or higher to use Visual Composer.

If that is working as intended:
With some custom coding, is it possible to have a widget show up on my side bar even though it is not displayed in visual composer? Or is the problem of not being able to use widgets that can’t be added in visual composer serious enough that I may have to seek an alternate theme?
Email lists are crucial for many websites, I’m sure this issue must have come up before?

One more question: Upon further testing I noticed that adding any widgets, even a simple text box, to the sidebar in the widget menu doesn’t work. It saves, but isn’t actually visible. The only way to add something visible to the sidebar seems to be through the visual composer. Is this working as intended?
I am trying to find a way to collect email addresses that works with the Newspaper theme. I’m attempting to ask for emails from the sidebar via a small form.
I am using MailMunch together with MailChimp. MailMunch is a plugin that creates a widget to be dragged to the sidebar. I go into my widgets and drag it into the sidebar. I’m using the World News demo theme and I drag the MailMunch sidebar widget right underneath the Social Counter widget and above the Ad Box widget.
It does not display.
Can you please advise? I don’t think this is a plugin issue – I have a problem whenever I try to add widgets to the sidebar from the widget menu unless I do it from the visual composer.

UPDATE YOUT THEME because it is deprecated. Please try to download the latest version of the theme which comes bundled with the theme packet from Theme Forest. At the moment, the latest version of Visual Composer which is tested with the latest version of Newsmag is 4.12.1. Indeed, the latest version of Visual Composer is 5.0.1 but at the moment, this version is not fully tested with the theme. Our developers work hard in this regard and please notice that we are getting new updates in this regard, as soon as possible. Update your theme via FTP because this is the surest and safe method in this regard, according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-install-via-ftp/
For bringing best results with the theme, you should only use the version of the plugins which come bundled with our theme’s packet.

A few days ago I tried making a change to a page, created using Visual Composer. The changed was adding a picture to a carousel. However, despite all my efforts, the new picture would simply refuse to appear – both on the actual website and in the admin panel.
Yesterday I updated Newspaper to the latest version which comes with VC 5.0.1. The problem persists. Today I tried to update another page by adding a block of pure HTML. Clicked save, the page reloaded and the block was not there.
Running: WordPress 4.7 (256 MB memory limit, PHP 7.0, PHP Post Max Size: 16MB, MySQL 5.5.52)
WP Super Cache – Caching disabled
CloudFlare – Development mode ON
Do you have any idea what might be causing this behaviour?

Now I see the activation notification. Why ? How to solve this Issue?

I have checked your website and I saw that you are using some untested plugins which can interact with the theme packet and cause a lot of unknown issues. Please try to disable all of the untested plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. Also, if the problem is still there, please try to make a new clean install from scratch via FTP and check the results.

I have checked on our demo on mobile mode and this issue does not appear. You can try yourself and you will see that I am right. This type of problem appears only for your website, sorry! Please notice that if you are using the latest version of the theme which is Newspaper 7.6 you should update your Visual Composer which is 5 version and which come bundled with the theme packet. So, you receive this information because your Visual Composer is 4.12.1.

The element is created custom for the dark demo version. In order to re-create it you need to create a tab element in visual composer and only use grids with style 1. Then you ned to add an extra class to the tab element: td-tab-color

Help, have updated wordpress & all plugins. Cant get the visual composer to work. Tried this for new page / existing page as well. Still no help.
Cant change anything due to this. The icon shows endless loading can clicking on it redirects to the page that asks me to buy Visual Composer (which I purchased for no reason).
