Try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches, purge cdn files if you’re suing then test the site again. Also if you made any customization in theme’s files try to revert them and enable from theme panel > theme fonts the Latin support for fonts: http://screencast.com/t/yQO60xEcy4B1

I have tested the element again on my end but it displays fine. Do you maybe have posts that belong to multiple categories? A post will show up everywhere one of it;s categories is specified. if you have a post in both of the categories you mentioned, then it will show up even if you remove one category as it will still belong to the other.
Another possible cause can be the cache. Please make sure you clear all caches whether it;s a plugin, hosting cache or cdn server.
You can also try to disable all plugins except visual composer and clear caches again to rule out a plugin conflict.

Please try the mobile theme without any untested plugins. Leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.

Unfortunately the category pages cannot be customized in visual composer. Only posts/pages
Alternatively users have created pages to replace categories and then created 301 redirects between category pages and single pages.

If you updated to newspaper 7.3, then you also need to update your visual composer to the latest version as it is required for the new update. Please use this guide to do it: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Make sure that after the update your visual composer is version 4.12.

Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer and Seo Yoast plugin to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. This type of error might be generated by untested plugins…try to remove all of them and check the results.

Sorry but I cannot see any sliding elements or crooked layouts. Where exactly is this happening? The homepage does not even have any theme blocks on it.
Please try to restore the theme to it;s default code as you may have added some custom css that breaks the layout. Be careful when using visual composer and use this guide: forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/

You can enable Visual Composer on posts from plugin’s settings: http://screencast.com/t/DHKVOXPfb7 Note that theme’s blocks were not designed to be displayed on posts so there might appear some issues with layout if you use them there.

I’ve tested smart sidebar on my side using V 3.1 of Newsmag and works fine. Please make sure that you setup the sidebar according with our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-smart-sidebar/ also try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches then test the site again.

Hi, I’ve recently noticed that the images in my site’s front page is missing. More accurately, posts in grids are missing. I know that the images are not lost, because they appear in a single post page. The following is the screenshot of the page I’m talking about.
I’ve updated both the theme and the Visual Composer to the latest version (3.1 for the theme and 4.12 for the Visual Composer). What did I do wrong?

It seems this issue is with regards to the Visual Composer plugin.
When I edit a Page, if the Visual Composer is in “Backend Editor” option I see my content, but when I change it to “Classic Mode” (where the Mobile Editor is available) the content is empty.
Of course, one option is going one by one (each of my Pages), and Copy & Paste my content from the “Backend Editor” to the “Classic Mode”.
This doesn’t happen with Posts, because in posts there’s no option to use the Visual Composer.
Hello updated to 7.3 and i have followed the steps on the tagdiv guide to updated visual composer and then added TG Composure.
Once i have completed these stages i am getting the following error Fatal error: Call to undefined method td_util::is_pagebuilder_content() in /home/polhour/public_html/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/page.php on line 37

I was playing around with some of the block elements on visual composer and for some reason something happened and the content area is now fluid. It is sliding around the background as opposed to remaining fixed. Also, the sides of the content area look almost crooked.
I have had things like this happen to me with other themes as well. Please tell me exactly why it happened and also how to fix it if it ever happens again. I tried going and removing all margins and paddings and stretched rows and everything else, but it is still sliding around and it looks terrible. Please help!

I’m trying it locally, so I can not link to a webpage.
But I will try to explain it again. Now I have the following structure:
example 1: Home > Category > Subcategory > Article
But for some categories I need another sublevel, so I will get the following:
example 2: Home > Category > Subcategory > Subsubcategory > Article
(For both structures, the breadcrumb will show exactly the structure as it is)
For SEO the subsubcategory is a little to deep. So what I was trying to do is to skip the subcategory and subsubcategory, so I only will get:
Home > Category > Article
For the menu, I want to keep the original structure that I had before example 1 and example 2.
But because I skipped the Subcategory and subsubcategory, I created ‘Pages’ for this. The benefit of using Pages, I can use visual composer (and show the categories)
So the Menu will be:
Page > Category > Article (but litterly the structure is Category > Article
Until now there is no problem, because in the menu section you can link to pages, categorys, tags etc.
But the problem is that the breadcrumb never shows the ‘Page’ section of the menu. I hope it is a little more clearer.
Is there a way for ‘showing’ the Page in the breadcrumb (like in the menu) to show it in the breadcrumb.
