Our latest version of the theme is Newspaper 7.1.1 and the right version for required plugins are -> Visual Composer 4.11.2 and Social Counter 4.1.
As you can see, all the plugins are in constant development. Each plugin will have to be checked with our theme for a good working and this process it may take a while. For example, the latest version of Visual Composer is 4.12 and the latest version of the plugin which has been tested with our theme is 4.11.2. In the future, after our developers will check this latest version of Visual Composer with the theme and they will find that the theme does not need to do some adjustments for, we will release an update with the latest version of Visual Composer (4.12). Until we will release the update with these latest versions you will have to ignore these messages.
So, please notice that if you want to have the latest version of the Visual Composer, you will need to have the additional license of this plugin and also, we cannot say for sure if this version of Visual Composer will work 100% with the theme because this version it is in testing.

3)Unfortunately, our theme does not have such an option for sticky ‘Join us’ if you want this but please notice that you will have to do this only if you customize it using some PHP/HTML/CSS (position:fixed). This request involves additional customization and we cannot provide this type of services because it is not covered by our support. If you want to display more levels in our theme and you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you.

We didn’t included V 4.12 in theme’s path yet. This new version is in testing and after all tests are made we will update the theme and will included it in the path. You can ignore that message regarding to update the Visual Composer.

Please ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme with the latest version of the required plugins (Visual Composer 4.11.2 and Social Counter 4.1) Update your theme using the FTP method according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ Try to clear all your caches, purge CDN file and test it again. If your problem is still there, you can try to make a new clean install from scratch with the latest version of the theme and check how it will work.

Hi,
Your image seems to have a resize propriety on it that is not added by our theme. It could be a tool for images that you use. Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Then check your images again. If you have any image optimization tools on your server, please also disable those.

Hi,
Unfortunately our themes were not designed with a full width in mind. The content width was added fixed and all elements depend on this fixed width. You can have full width content in visual composer though but if you add a background image or color, the site will go into boxed mode. We are aware of the many full width requests but unfortunately if we have to add a full width layout, basically all of the theme elements will have to be re-created from scratch which unfortunately is not so easy to do, but who knows what the future will bring.

If you want to center the carousel element from Visual Composer, please try to use a bit of CSS code to do that. Try the code below and place it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area.

Hi,
Premium themes cannot be updated through the wordpress dashboard. In order to get notifications about updates for your theme you must install the envato plugin. Please follow this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
And also make sure you update all the plugins that come with the theme : https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ and also update the social counter plugin.

First of all, please ensure that you have fully downloaded the packet of Newspaper with 7.1.1 version of it. So, all the required plugins come bundled with the theme and you will have to instal them from Premium Plugin area, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/ZXGnhiTCx2b after you have deleted from the Plugin area from the dashboard, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/OyoVprZQ The recommended version of Visual Composer which is tested with the theme is 4.11.2. Try to clear all your caches and test it again.

Thank you for your appreciation. We try to update our theme as much as we can.
1) I will add this suggestion to our list for future uopdates and pass this information on to our development team.
2) you can change the top header color from the theme colors section of the theme panel: http://screencast.com/t/C6Xd59Aa
3) I’m not sure what gap you are referring to as you have a trending now element between the slideshow and the header. If you want to remove it, simply delete the trending now element from visual composer
4) Unfortunately setting a background image will make the site go into boxed mode so there cannot be a wide version if you have backgrounds.

These plugins are provided free along with our theme updates so you cannot update them from the dashboard nor can you activate them. I have done some tests on my side and the Ios Bookmarklet seems to work as propelry. Please try your theme without any untested plugin, just leave Visual Composer and Mobile Theme to active, clear all your caches, purge CDN files if you are using the CDN system and try the theme in this mode and see how it goes.

Please make sure you use the latest theme version and the update is done properly. Try to reinstall the theme by following this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
If the problem is still there after the update/reinstall please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files.
Then try your theme panel again.

As you can see, the Visual Composer has an important role in our theme because it is a required plugin. Surely, you can use the theme without this composer but unfortunately, you do not really have many options to customize the theme. Without this plugin, you can add only the text and images, without Blocks/Modules and other feature which makes the theme to be different than others.
