Well not all tools that say you have malicious code or other anomalies are correct. Visual composer states the same about wordfence:

To follow along with the plugin authors, we at TagDiv assure you there is no exploit or malicious code in our themes or the version of visual composer we provide and these tools are highly doubtful. In order to make a correct assesment, you neet to use more tools, not a single opinion from an untested plugin. We cannot say for sure what the plugin detects as I have checked all of the lines fo code mentioned in the errors you received but there is nothing potentially harmful there. You can rest assured there is no threat. A premium theme is built with custom code and plugins cannot detect this. WordPress plugins are created on the standard wordpress code and cannot recognize custom functions that we use. That is why it detects threats as the code is not in the standard wordpress codex. This is the case with all premium themes.

Please try to disable and delete your Visual Composer plugin from your panel and try to re-install it from the Premium Plugins Area that comes bundled with our theme and check the results. Also, if you are using some untested plugins, please try to disable them and leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and check the results.

I’m sorry for the misunderstanding but we never advertised that the plugin can or should be activated. We state the opposite in our documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
You do not have to buy it and do not have to activate it as it’s a free version we provide bundled with our theme.
The front-end editor has been disabled from our theme as it created problems and could not be used. Our theme is adapted to work properly with visual composer as we created our own modules and blocks to work with the plugin.

Until now, we do not have any bad reports in this regard and the mobile theme is fully tested and is working as properly. Please notice that the font style for the mobile version it come by default and you do not have any option to change it.
So, please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. Also, if your problem is still there, please provide more details about your issue, provide some useful screenshots with this issue and also, you can provide your website URL so I can inspect it closer the theme behaviour.

The code does not come gfrom our theme nor is the code mallicious in any way. Wordfence detects it that way but these tools are not always right. Please notice that all the plugins are in constant development. Each plugin will have to be checked with our theme for a good working and this process it may take a while. For example, the latest version of Visual Composer is 4.12 and the latest version of the plugin which has been tested with our theme is 4.11.2. In the future, after our developers will check this latest version of Visual Composer with the theme and they will find that the theme does not need to do some adjustments for, we will release an update with the latest version of Visual Composer (4.12) and also, with Revolution Slider. Until we will release the update with these latest versions you will have to ignore these messages.
So, please notice that if you want to have the latest version of the Visual Composer, you will need to have the additional license of this plugin and also, we cannot say for sure if this version of Visual Composer will work 100% with the theme because this version it is in testing.

Please ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme (Newspaper 7.1.1) and also, the latest version of the required plugins (Visual Composer 4.11.2 and Social Counter 4.1). Clear all your caches and test it again and check the results.

Also, if your problem will reappear, please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.

Please notice that latest tested version of Visual Composer with our theme is 4.11.2 and it will come bundled with our theme. So, the latest version of Visual Composer is 4.12 but please notice that it has not yet been tested theme and that’s why you will receive this type of message ->you will have to ignore it.

Also, please make sure this type of error does not come from your untested plugins. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches, purge CDN files if you are using the CDN system and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.
