Hi,
I have created a page with Visual Composer and chosen “Pagebuilder + page title” as template: http://www.sverigetips.se/stockholm/. However, as you can see this setup changes how block 15 is displayed in my footer. The block should display in five columns (on desktop), not three. Compare with other pages on the same site where block 15 looks alright in the footer.
I cannot use the Default template for my page because it doesn’t display breadcrumbs, page title and sidebar.
How can I use Pagebuilder on pages and still keep the correct block layout in my footer?

I am not using Chache plugin now.
Newspaper 6 with the same plugins worked well. No issues. I have updated to version 6 and I have problems with this.
Also WordPress does not show mp3 content in the posts. And again it is for Woocommerce but It worked well with Newspaper 4.
I have deactivated all plugins, just Woocommerce and Visual Composer active, and it is the same:
I can´t use mobile menu
I can`t use Post Style 7
I can`t use finder
I can`t see mp3 wordpress links.
In Themeforest pager I can read thar Newspaper 6 is compatible with:
BuddyPress 2.1.x, BuddyPress 2.0.x, BuddyPress 1.9.x, BuddyPress 1.8.x, BuddyPress 1.7.x, BuddyPress 1.6.1, WooCommerce 2.3.x, WooCommerce 2.2.x, WooCommerce 2.1.x, bbPress 2.5.x, bbPress 2.4.x, bbPress 2.3.x
I don`t know if it is also compatible with Woocommerce 2.4 but the web it is not updated.

Maybe Woocommerce conflicts with another plugin that you use, as I have checked this and did not found any issues. Also newspaper 6 should work fine with the latest version of the plugin, why do you say that it is not compatible?
Please check this without any plugins active, leave just Visual Composer and Woocommerce plugins active, clear cache and see if you still have this issue.

Found some time to finally upgrade my theme, but I lacked to backup my files before doing so. And of course now the website is full of errors. This is completely my fault but still I hope you guys can help me out! 🙁

– Updated the files to V6.3.3.
– I think it was on V4.x, not sure though.
– Ran the script for v4 to V6. That managed to reappear the header logo.
– Tried to change some blocks in the visual composer, nothing happened.
Error message:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function vc_column_offset_class_merge() in /home/deb62085/domains/gadgetgoeroe.nl/public_html/wp-content/themes/Newspaper21/vc_templates/vc_column_old.php on line 22
What do I need to do? Any help is much appreciated, thanks!

I’ve tested the latest theme’s version (2.1.1) with the social counter plugin and works fine: http://screencast.com/t/gDinwZQqaOWE
Please make sure you installed the plugin from the full theme folder -> plugins folder you’ve downloaded from themeforest, also try to deactivate all plugins, except Visual Composer and Social Counter, clear the cache and test again.

The latest version of the Visual Composer plugin (4.6.2) hasn’t been tested with your theme version so in your case it would be best to continue using the 4.4.4 version if it’s working or install version 4.3.5 which should be used with theme version 4.6.1 as this version of VC plugin was provided within theme’s /plugins folder: http://screencast.com/t/s86Lh7teEW
If you want to use the latest version of Visual Composer plugin then you need to update the theme to version 6 which has support for later versions of VC plugin and it’s also included within full theme’s package.
If you decide to update please follow this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ backup your current install, run the import settings script, update plugins and check the result. You can always get back to the previous working theme version if something goes wrong as long as you backup it but doing the update as instructed the theme should work fine.
You should also consider into the process at the following aspects:
– backup your current theme/WordPress/database: https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups
– setup a maintenance mode and you can use a plugin for that.
– empty all caches/purge files if you also use CDN host then disable any services of this type until you switch to the new theme
– disable all plugins
– install the theme then install the required plugins
– switch back the rest of the plugins and start other services

I also checked your site on mobile, but I see that you have custom modifications also on this site, for example main menu should not appear on mobile – http://screencast.com/t/uwDLwzwOQ We did not have related reports regarding your issue(Newspaper 4 or 6), so please make sure that you remove the custom modifications and check this without any plugins active, leave just Visual Composer active and clear cache.

Te rog sa dezactivezi toate plugin-urile in afara de Visual Composer si sa creezi un nou post folosind un continut similar, dupa aceea sa verifici daca span-urile mai sunt adaugate. Cred aceasta problema este cauzata de un plugin.

Hello, first time using this theme, but not first time using visual composer.
When trying to set up 2 columns using visual composer, the block in the second column, automatically gets placed under the first one, not allowing me to properly set up 2 columns side by side.
Also, everything on the page seems to be shifted right and not properly centered as in the example files.
My domain is edmbangers.com , please let me know what I can do to fix this, thank you so much.

Please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-access so we can take a look. Usually this issue is caused by a plugin that conflicts with the theme ajax so you can try again to disable all the plugins except of Visual Composer, clear cache(then deactivate also the cache plugin) also purge your files if you use CDN(disable CDN).

Hi,
Wondering how to modify the results from a standard search. Current results include Headline, Image, Byline, Lede, Category/breadcrumb, Continue button, etc. Hoping to condense and/or reformat so more results are visible in less space. One search term can return as much as 20 pages, which is a lot for users to sift through. Maybe just Headline of article and date? Also, are we able to deliver search results to another template, perhaps one we could format using Visual Composer?
Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Our theme version is Newspaper 4.6.1.
I’m having trouble trying to get the latest version of Visual Composer 4.6.2. Currently we have installed Visual Composer 4.4.4.
How do I upload into my computer files the update? When I select Newspaper/includes/plugins/js_composer.zip from my downloads it only brings up the 4.4.4 version (I have it dated 24 April 2015).

Unfortunately the Single Image block is not apart of the theme, you will have to edit the Visual Composer file to do that, try to search after wpb_singleimage_heading in the code and move it bellow the image.
