Unfortunately we did not tested Facebook plugin with the Newspaper, so I can’t provide you a solution for this.
Try to disable all plugin and leave only Visual Composer and this 2 plugins active if you say that those 2 plugins worked well together, maybe is a conflict with another plugin. Also empty your cache.

Is there a way to appy a custom wallpaper/background to a page created with visual composer. You have the option to allow a different background for each category but can this be done with a page as well?
Trying to figure out why some of the visual composer elements have padding using this class: .wpb_content_element and some do not get the class and will be pushed against the side. If I give the column the extra class .wpb_content_element the non padded elements get padded. But you can only put the non padded elements in the column.
So what makes some elements get the right class and others do not. (eg. Custom Heading, Icon, message box.)
It would be nice if every element that goes inside a column would get padded by default.

Please make sure that you use the latest version of Visual Composer(4.3.5).
If you need to update the plugin follow this guide to update Visual Composer: https://forum.tagdiv.com/update-the-visual-composer-plugin-wpbakery/ and also remove and install the VC plugin from the /plugins folder which came with the theme files.

I have tried removing the code with no effect. I have now commented it out… also no effect. Cleared my browser cache in case that was the issue. Still nothing had changed. See screen shot for my code as it is now… this is the main functions.php file in the newspaper folder (not in my child theme).

@Boricua1 what theme do you use Newsmag or Newspaper?
If you use Newsmag lastest version(1.5) you should have Visual Composer plugin version 4.4.2 and for Newspaper lastest version of the plugin is 4.3.5
Please follow this guide to update Visual Composer: https://forum.tagdiv.com/update-the-visual-composer-plugin-wpbakery/ and also remove and install the VC plugin from the /plugins folder which came with the theme files.

I’m working with a educational article and i’m using a lot of features of VC and Ultimate addons. Everything was going ok. The page was going smoothly and I was almost done. But then, suddenly the headings began to change and some of the pictures that were working perfect before just don’t show up, they are in the Composer but not in the preview.
I consult with the people of the Brainstrom (Ultimate Addons) and they said is a VC issue. I can’t consult with the VC authors because I don’t have a licenses. Please help me!!

I have checked your site on Mozilla and seems that Roboto it doesn’t loads. Please disable all plugins, leave only Visual Composer active and check your page source on Mozilla and see if the font Roboto is loading.

The Visual Composer plugin that comes with the theme is licensed to the theme, the license specifies that only we can provide the updates and you don’t have to buy it or register it.
We’re testing the plugin latest version, if everything is ok we will include it in the next update and only then you can update the plugin by downloading the theme latest version and following the procedure presented in the plugin update guide.

I would like to use a full paid version of Visual Composer with the Newspaper theme – however when I entered me license number and update the plug-in to the latest version I do not see all the extras that come with the paid version. I contacted the Plug-in developer and they told me to reach out to you. They mentioned changing the function files – after looking through them I have noticed the comments about declaring an empty function in my child theme in order to see the ‘hidden’ elements of VC – but have tried that with no results.

I have edited td_module_9 replacing the line:

get_the_image function grabs an image from a custom field, if there is no image scans the post for images to get the first one and finally if post doesn’t contain images uses a default one.
This code works fine but when I insert module 9 inside a page with Visual Composer choosing ajax pagination, the featured images appear on the first page only but are not shown up when ajax tries to fetch them for next pages.
Is there anything I can do about that?

El banner puedes añadirlo directamente poniendo el código donde quieras, ya sea en un widget o si es solo la home, utilizando visual composer, puedes poner el custom ad y añades el código del banner donde quieras. Mirate los vídeos del tema, el de añadir AdSense! Un saludo

First please make sure you also test this without any plugins active and leave just Visual Composer plugin active and also empty cache then check again.
If you still have this issue please make sure you download and update your theme to the latest version (4.6.1) then let us know if you still have issues with it and also provide your site’s URL so we can check this.

I have a few more issues structuring the theme. Some features don’t seem to be working as they should.
1. Offset and unique articles do not work.
– 1a: Offset used on Block 2 (below the Grid), and set to 5 (to avoid showing Featured posts again), yet same articles in POPULAR block below the Grid still appear.

– 1b: Tried using “Unique Articles” feature, then it screws up the whole pattern, and latest articles aren’t the latest anymore, neither in Grid nor in the list of posts below. Just a collection of random posts instead.
Note: All categories are set appropriately to Latest, All categories, etc. I triple-checked everything. Also, “Popular” is not actually set to display Popular articles (if such feature even exists); it’s the “DON’T MISS” block, renamed.
2. In the backend when editing, when I select some Visual Composer and Theme specific features (such as “Show unique articles” option), it disappears once the page is updated, even if it’s selected. Basically, you need to select for those features to appear every single time you edit a page.
3. How do I enable to show Categories for all posts on the homepage? Currently, no setting is set to “Disabled,” so everything should be enabled, right? And the categories must appear on posts? Yet they don’t.

Hi,
Please deactivate all plugins leaving just the Visual Composer plugins active then empty cache and also purge files if you use any CDN host services then check again. I also tested this with the last theme version and found no issues. If you still have that issue please provide your site URL so I can inspect this.
