Hi guys,
The LCP on my site is bad and I got an answer from a friend programmer:
these are not normal image tags so the browser does not realize the images are to be fetched. instead the tagdiv JS (https://serpositivo.com/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/js/tagdiv_theme.min.js) had to be loaded and executed and that will look for image containers in the HTML and load the images.
2 problems with that approach; JS is loaded late (deferred, to ensure it is not render-blocking) and as the browser is unaware the image is not loaded with high priority.
the best solution would be to (ask tagdiv support if) use normal image tags for those main thumbnails to ensure the browser loads those with high priority. typically (from a performance point of view) you would indeed want your entire above-the-fold part of the page to render without the need for extra CSS/ JS to be downloaded & applied/ executed.
Alternatively we could exclude Newspaper/js/tagdiv_theme.min.js from being deferred (so it would run faster, but would become render-blocking) and we could (manually) add the relevant URL to the “LCP image” in the “autoptimize this page” metabox on the “edit” view of your homepage, but these approaches are far from ideal really ..
Is there anyway to improve the LCP according to these issues?
Hi,
I tried to edit the pages using other editors such as Elementor, Gutenberg etc. It can be edited using these plugins. I am not able to edit the pages only with TD composer. Please take a look at the issue. I have already exceeded the deadline to launch the website for my client.
Hello Christian,
If the settings made with tagDiv Composer are not saved, please check this topic -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tagdiv-composer-does-not-save-only-content-of-homepage/
A solution for sending a screenshot/video is this:
Download, capture, and send: https://www.techsmith.com/jing-tool.html
After making the screenshot, you will have a link; paste it here.
Thank you!
Hello,
You can create a page like that with tagDiv Composer, but not a post template.
Thank you!

Using WP6.1.3 in Multisite mode and Newspaper 12.3 theme on the main site, both 3 plugins (see in topic title) may suddenly deactivate themselves without any warning or notice. It results in a tiring monitoring and front page inconsistencies. Any Idea what can cause this problem ?
Aside note : I didn’t change any plugin nor install new one … Deactivating all plugins give the same result. One month ago, I had to rollback from WP 6.2.2 to 6.1.3 because of problems with some plugins.
Hello @theislandnow !
Edit the page with the TagDiv Composer and check both columns widths: https://prnt.sc/VWNYzfFVK30M Make sure they are empty.
Or add a new row, apply those layout settings, and drag and drop the elements in the columns.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please edit the file td_instagram.php in this path td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_instagram.php and remove https://i.imgur.com/Mg9DE3w.png “comments_count,like_count” line 655
Thank you!
Hi,
Edit the mobile page then and add the logo with tagDiv Composer -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/add-logo-newspaper/ -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
Thank you!
Hi,
Please make sure that you are using SSL and you have a good bandwidth; the one from our server is 1GB/s, and the one that I use at home is 500MB/s, if you have low bandwidth, then you can access parts of the cloud, this can be done from the frontend, for example, if you are on a post -> https://i.imgur.com/4G74M7F.jpg or from tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/2F6MhfI.png
If the problem is not solved after, please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provided the wp-admin and cPanel access.
Thank you!
Hello @sbello!
1. Check this video: https://app.screencast.com/x78tuwyZywiOf
2. You can customize it in the tagdiv Composer. Please provide more information about your issue (screenshots/video).
3. Clear the color first and then add it again.
4. Unfortunately, we do not have a live support section. https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-support/
Thank you!
Hello @Jinxer !
1. Yes, like this: https://prnt.sc/Gv-Sc0-e66Xc by changing the details in the custom pages tab.
2. I’m not sure from which page is this one, but we have some settings like this in the tagdiv Composer: https://prnt.sc/A5FFbAs4qIKx
3. This is the name of the CPT because that page is a CPT post and not a regular article. This issue has been discussed already here, please check: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/change-url-of-doctor-profiles/
4. You can change the limit in the TagDiv Composer.
5. You need to make a free plan for a free content with free subscribers.
Thank you!
Hello!
Unfortunately, the mobile theme won’t work like that. If you uninstall the mobile theme, then you will see that the smartlists will display on the mobile viewport as well.
Actually, we have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page.Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.
A full explanation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
If you need to use the mobile version 1 or 2, then you need to disable the Mobile Theme plugin.
You can choose the mobile version and the menu you want to use. By default, we use option 1 for mobile, and you can customize it from the tagdiv Composer.
Thank you!
I found the solution to my problem.
/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/parts/
I edited the login.php file.
Hello, I have an area of my site where the last Post is displayed, its Ok with the filter “Latest Post”.
But i also have a specific area where I would like the penultimate post published on the site to be displayed, how can I make this Filter?
In the Tag Div Composer editor options there are several filters but I didn’t find any for the penultimate Post.
Hi, I did not upload any word document or such files into the website. I was just editing the website when it suddenly stopped responding. I checked the console to see this error in the composer plugin. I am not able to keep working on the site now.
Hello Support,
Here is the link for my testing website.
https://testing.dailyexcelsior.com
Tagdiv Composer is not working. Edit page is opening fine but, I am not able to edit any content also not able to add any new section.
Please see the screenshot here:
https://prnt.sc/dIlPEyq5XDjS
Please check this issue and reply me ASAP.
Thank you!
I have encountered an issue with the WordPress Newspaper theme on my website, theisland360.com. I created a custom category template using the TagDiv Composer, and during the editing process inside the composer, the template appears as intended. However, when I publish the template, the column layout becomes inconsistent.
Inside the TagDiv Composer, the template shows two columns that are not evenly divided, as I intended. Here is a screenshot for reference:
However, once the template is published, the column layout changes and both columns appear to be evenly split. This is not the desired outcome. Here is a screenshot for reference:
I have double-checked my settings and ensured that the columns are set to a 50-50 ratio. It is perplexing why the published page does not reflect the same layout as the preview within TagDiv Composer.
I would greatly appreciate any guidance or suggestions on how to resolve this issue and ensure that the published template matches the desired layout. Thank you in advance for your assistance!
Dear Anamaria
I entered this code:
/jquery-?[0-9.](.*)(.min|.slim|.slim.min)?.js
/jquery-migrate(.min)?.js
/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/js/tagdiv_theme.min.js
tdBlocksArray
to Delay Java script execution >

into wp-rocket plugin but I have same problem.
Thank a lot for your effort to resolve this issue.
Hello,
A workaround can be to save an element or row: https://www.screencast.com/t/kVxpDT9SV in the tagdiv composer, so you can add it on every other page. The saved elements can be seen at the end of the other blocks when you add an element in the tagDiv Composer.
Thank you!
Hello,
I checked now, but now the style is loaded. Please try to exclude the following files
/jquery-?[0-9.](.*)(.min|.slim|.slim.min)?.js
/jquery-migrate(.min)?.js
/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/js/tagdiv_theme.min.js
tdBlocksArray
and check after.
Thank you!
