Hi all, there are several problems with this Newspaper 11
First of them is this:
I have “menu 1” and “menu 2”.
I have set in mobile settings “menu 1” for all the site, but in some post and in some category the “menu 2” appears instead of “menu 1″… I went in Theme panel under Category settings, there I have all the same settings for all categories. Moreover, I have the same template for all posts…
You can see the test where I’m working on, navigate with smartphone please:

Problem #2
I have set a mobile homepage, but it doesn’t work. I can edit it with tagdiv composer and I can see it in tagdiv composer, but it doesn’t appear in mobile frontend. I can only see the desktop homepage.

in the content – use /td composer select the top of the content and use the css to get the content joining the header (looks like -30)
I took a look at it with the composer and there is no space element that I could see. I did switch to using my own custom header rather than one of the defaults and the white space disappeared. Problem solved in that regard, but I’m still going to look for the cause of the white space in the first place.
hello
i can’t edit the mobile page with tagdiv composer. the loading takes forever and it shows nothing pls help
Hello,
I was trying to use one of the new prebuilt websites, which requires WooCommerce and the tagDiv Shop plugins.
I have installed WooCommerce first, and as soon as I activated td-woo, the website crashed with: There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.

Open the page with TD composer and inspect the element. I think that’s a space element. You can delete it to solve the issue …
I use “Global Medicine” prebuilt template and I can’t edit this section in tagDiv composer how can I edit it
there are no columns or anything to edit?

So, are you telling me that you can edit the HEADER/MOBILE HEADER with TD Composer, but you cannot do the same with the FOOTER? This isn’t making sense.
Thank you, Vlad. As for the plugins you ask, I am using tagdiv Composer, tagdiv Cloud Library, tagdiv Social Counter – which I deactivated and activated again now – and tagdiv Standard Pack.
I stopped using tagdiv Mobile theme plugin and instead use a mobile only template. I don’t use anymore Official AMP for WP and Tagdiv newsletter.
I must also say that to complicate matters the site breaks in mobile in ways I don’t understand of find the logic of.
On top of that I initially updated to WP 5.8 and Newspaper 11.1 but then downgraded to 5.7 and 11.
Hope this answers your question.
Hello:
I do not have an Android to test it on unfortunately. I can wait till I am with someone who does and let you know. If I disable tagDiv Composer, it does NOT popup with my keyboard on my iPhone. Only problem is that I need that plugin for my website to function correctly.
Forgot to add that I could remove the rows etc.
But this particular block was not editable on composer.
Thanks
Hi, After upgrading to Newspaper 11.1, a huge “TagDIV” logo appears in the edit bar, under “Edit wit TagDiv Composer” green button, when I am in admin mode viewing some content. It’s quite annoying, and I’ve tried clearing cache, deactivating non-template plugins and on other computers and browsers.
In Chrome, it bothers a bit, but in Firefox, it’s huge and doesn’t allow to preview the content.
Example: https://imgur.com/a/M4futak
Does it happen to anyone else?
Any solutions?
Thanks.
Hi, I’m trying to edit the post templates, for some reason when I try to edit any of the templates on the front end, the “Edit with “TagDiv Composer” is missing. It is only availibe for the custom option…
Here is what I’m trying to fix… for some reason the sidebar menus are missing on all of the templates except for the custom post template.
How do I restore the sidebars, or restore the templates?
Thank you!
This is what composer show for mobile menu: https://prnt.sc/1ete6em
And this is what what it shows on front end: https://prnt.sc/1etegtq
Hi,
I tried to edit my homepage today using Tag Div Composer. Everything has been working fine until I updated to the latest Newspaper version.
Now I get this error when the page loads to edit:
“Errors at columns elements: 4(models) : 3(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)”
I cannot undo anything because I did not make any changes.
Hello, Ads create CLS erros. So I am placing fixed-sized ads to get rid of the CLS errors. But this is not working. On google, I read to reserve enough space for ads. But I cannot create space with Tagdiv Composer. Please show me how can I reserve space for ads and also Twitter and youtube links that I place in between the contents. I want to reserve more space because right now I am facing CLS issue. Thanks.
What is the reason why the ads I put for in-text are not showing?
Ads placed for both mobile and PC do not appear. Manually placed ads appear with Tagdiv composer. What is the reason?
Hi! Do you guys plan on making a Web Stories block for TagDiv Composer?
We would really appreciate it since it’s not possible to call the web stories on our home page with the existing blocks. Or is it?
Thanks!
I am running an audit with the Query Monitor plugin to determine why has my website become slow again, after some time when it ran somewhat good (not excellent though…). To my surprise I discovered that for every page load there are 27 database queries that fall under the “SLOW Queries” category. Please mind that *ALL* 27 out of 27 slow queries belong to the td-composer.
Please advise what we need to edit (if it is something we can fix on our end), in order to make the page perform better than this. Surely there must be something that can be done. 8+ seconds is a very long time for a front page to load on a 1 Gbps internet connection.
You mean I need to disable visual composer first?
What I said is that when I click on import the header from another layout, I can’t. The blue screen where I click to confirm is behind, hidden.
Hello,
Is not an issue, this is how this template was designed.
The footer template does not have the button to be edited with tagDiv Composer in the backend, the footer can be edited only from the frontend if it is assigned, edit a page/post template with tagDiv Composer and go down to the footer. => https://www.screencast.com/t/rpfNhfyrF that page can be private.
You can customize it with tagDiv Composer => https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nE51MfLV7hE
Thank you!
Hello!
If you are using a Global header, TagDiv Composer can’t work on it. You can however import a cloud library header to edit it. You can edit without setting it as a header and see how it will look.
I hope this was helpful!
Thank you!
Hello,
Please edit header with tagDiv Composer, select the zone on the header menu, and in the General tab is the option Shadow, please set the value to 0 => https://www.screencast.com/t/XgYQNKEOSnCi
Hope this helps you!
Thank you!
This issue persists. I’m not sure why, but there is no option to edit with TD Composer. I have not updated to 11.1 yet. Please, see attached images.

Thank you Vlad, the reason I am still using the global template is that we are running a live site serving ads and 4 of these are in the Global Header position / 3. The menu is part of this Global header. For some reason, when I open my HOME page with TagDiv composer, there is no option found to edit the menu area. Am I missing something – we are using a child-theme.
