I think this can be done by using the ACF plugin and adding an extra text field for the categories, after that this can be add on category template with the custom field element in and tagDiv Composer.

Unfortunately this is won’t working like that, the tagdiv Composer can be use to create pages not page templates, but what can be done if you have the page made as you like it is to duplicate the page and just change the content from it.

For the element that it is in the use it can be done only if you set the “Missing form label.” in code (wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/parts/search.php). An alternative is to create a popup page that contain the search that is used on desktop.

The demo you have was builder using tagDiv Composer and cloud templates, therefore everything can be edited using the theme builder on frontend. The theme panel settings are normally added by tagDiv standard pack, please check if this plugin is installed if you have it, please disable, this brings old templates that are not editable on frontend with the builder.

An ad box element can display the ads set in the theme panel – ads settings – https://i.imgur.com/aS4irEZ.png – https://i.imgur.com/drbG6FM.png but can also be set directly in ad box element, for banners in image ad tab – https://i.imgur.com/OXK8QE2.png and for code ad in custom ad tab – https://i.imgur.com/ecWqOmO.png

The child theme can be sued for the templates and code that is coming from tagDiv standard Pack, if is related to td composer, opt-in builder, or cloud, those have no support in the child theme, only if it is custom integrate or an extra plugin is created to overwrite the settings form the plugin.
Related to your customization code, I can take a look over it, but you’ll need a developer, only a developer can let you know if the code is ok or were needs to be improved.
