I am using the Lifestyle Magazine demo. For the top 3 squares, the Grid Style 1 Default, I would like to show 3 different categories. I’d like the first square to show the most recent in my Events category, the second square to show most recent in my What’s New Category, and the third square to show the latest in my Featured category. Is this possible with Grid Style 1 Default? If not, is it possible for me to make something like that with other blocks?

Default Demo with content is installed, however the site is not rendering correctly as if the css is not applied.

When setting images you can select the size of the image

The reason I suggested using a smaller background image for mobile particularly, is because from what I can find online Safari may not load big images when on mobile, and also has a problem with backgrounds.

Hi,
The header that comes with this demo is a custom one, you’ll need to use custom css ( img ) to remove the border line or you can import that header template from tagDiv Cloud Library.
If you refer to the lines from the content you need to edit them

1. Seems that your trending news ticker display is a smart widget that can have desired parameters preset. However, we just transferred some posts from another theme in the past couple of days, and the entire display disappears when we set it to content added in the last 7 days. Any ideas on why that would be?
2. Do you offer a similar ticker system for Breaking News? Seems that breaking news are just set by recently posted, and is just a regular category. However, that doesn’t seem practical since breaking news are temporary and assigning a category is on the permanent side since they have to be changed manually. Is there a breaking news system that’s able to be customized the same way the trending news are?
3. How do we implement the reviews feature and what is it exactly?
4. Same question for the ‘gadget score’ on your theme demo.. what is that feature and how can a news website like ours utilize that?
5. Is there a way to let authors sign up and create an author’s account and profile themselves, or does admin need to approve and add them through the usual wordpress process? And in any case, will the theme automatically generate an author’s page for them, or is that also done by an admin?
6. Does fastnews have any type of team page where the staff is highlighted with their photos, bios, etc., as you see on many websites?
7. The other issue is the links below the main navigation on your fastnews demo isn’t quite lining up as the fastnews theme demo, after installing your recent theme update.
Since installing the update, we’re seeing this error message:
Received a response code !=200 while trying to contact the templates API server.

Hi there,
I am happy with the footer on my site except for the font for the “footer text” and “your email address”. I would like to set them as Montserrat. Can you please let me know what css I should use to do this?
Please note: I have set all fonts found in the Newspaper Theme panel to Montserrat but it hasn’t updated hence the need for CSS.

Thanks, Calin. I eventually found a plugin which does the job very nicely without too much overhead (https://gehrcke.de/wp-geshi-highlight-demo/).
The only issue that I have is the “&” is being replaced by “&” which seems to be a Gutenberg issue (https://wordpress.org/support/topic/ampersand-character/). If anyone knows an answer to that, I love to know!

That would be the default page padding top, it’s usually bigger but the demo you have installed reduces it. To remove it completely try something like this, should work

I have been hunting around for a while now, even searching the forums and with how active they are I must be doing something wrong?
I’m using the News Week demo and I want to tweak the .td-header-top-menu class border-bottom settings, but I see no where this is exposed in the editor. I also need to modify the font-family and line spacing for body and lists. I found body settings, but it doesn’t seem to take my changes.
The line-spacing option is only exposed as absolute settings in px instead of relative 1.5 (for example). I changed it, but the interface is not updating. Further, it does not appear to be possible at all to modify the list settings? Not sure.
Is the best way to go just to directly edit the CSS? If so – what is the safest way to do this?

I recently bought and installed Newspaper and I like it so far, but I do have some questions about editing the theme.
First, how do you change the text that appears in the “trending now” button near the top of my site?
Second, I’m using the default demo for Newspaper, but how do you change the category names and get rid of the default articles that don’t use content from my blog?
And third, how do you get the Weather widget set up properly? It keeps saying “API key is empty” and I don’t know how to fix it.
Any help would be much appreciated.
