1. No, I did not miss anything. I already mentioned ALL of the styles are present in the stylesheet. I did not show each and every code, yes. The round corners for the images are a css rule you can find in the same demo-style.css under the voice report demo files.
2. If you apply css you do not need to do anything more. Simply change the css and the results should be seen immediately and no regeneration process is needed.
Thank you!
Thanks for the response Bogdan.
Few things that you missed and I would love to know your opinion about:
1. I love the ‘cut edge design of images under the Voice report template. Have a look here: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_voice/td-post-authorities-seeking-expanded-education-for-incarcerated-youth/ , you will notice that the each image under the post content has round-cut-corner. Is it template specific feature? can I replicate only this feature under my current template?
2. what are the things that I should take care while changing the template of the site? Do we need to regenerate all the images? Will this regeneration process kill all the ‘compression’ that we have done previously with premium image compressions like WPSmush or shortpixel?
Thank you.
Hi,
I have inspected your website and it seems you have managed to remove that background image from the mobile menu
– https://www.screencast.com/t/eW3HoQXoiaM
The slider should look the same if you imported the exact slider
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-revolution-sliders-on-demos/
All the demo sliders are included in the theme package. The revolution slider is a very complex plugin with lots of settings and options. Here is also a link to the official plugin documentation

Thanks
Hello,
Each demo has it’s own custom style to it. Each demo has itls own stylesheet where all of the css is found. We usually only change the css for the demos in order not to change functionality. If you want to re-create parts of one demo on another demo, you will have to inspect the css for both and try to replicate it.
You have the css for all the demos inside the main theme package under newspaper/includes/demos/
Thank you!
Hello,
The best way to get eh page to look exactly like a demo is to simply install the demo from here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/
We do not recommend editing the dummy data and using it as your own though as dummy data gets removed if you change demos or unistall the demo.
We recommend actually creating the page from scratch using our new page builder. Please check this video to see how easy it is to create a new page: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
Thank you!
Simple question: How do I change the location of the logo from the left side of the header to be moved over to the right side. I want the Ad to also be moved from the left side to the right side.
Basically want to switch both items in the header for the Business theme. Thanks!
Simion, Another question is about the slider. the results with my configuration for the slider is so ugly. I really like the style of the demo, can you sent to me the exact configurations?
I noticed that whenever I hover over any featured image on the homepage of Art Creek template – https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_art_creek/ , it displays a special 3D effect, which looks awesome.
But, I don’t see this effect, when I view the same post/homepage using any mobile devices. Does it work only on desktop or is there some issue only with me?
Also, can I use this effect on any other template with the help of customization? If yes, can you instruct with the customization?
Thank you.
I have been using Newspaper theme for almost a year.
We have using customised look of the default template of Newspaper till now, but the recent release of a few new themes caught my attention. SO, I am all set to change the look of our site.
But here is the issue.
I love the homepage look of Art Creek template: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_art_creek/ . It’s awesome. but I want to have the header like the Voice report template: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_voice/.
Apart from this, I also love the ‘cut edge design of images under the Voice report template. Have a look here: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_voice/td-post-authorities-seeking-expanded-education-for-incarcerated-youth/ , you will notice that the each image under the post has round-cut-corner. It is template specific feature. Right?
Please help me how can I do this? I am ready to do all the customization required if someone can guide me for this.
Also, what are the things that I should take care while changing the template of the site? Do we need to regenerate all the images? Will this regeneration process kill all the ‘compression’ that we have done previously with premium image compressions like WPSmush or shortpixel?
Thank you.
I am a tech idiot, let me get that out of the way right off the bat.
I bought this theme because I wanted me website set up exactly as the demo, but it is not even close. I tried looking through the setup pages but I have no idea how to get it to look that way. Can you help please?
It would be useful (for example) to build a page with several lines (sections) with a first line with theme blocks and in the bottom section (row) two columns with text or other content (or shortcode), and still below (other row) other blocks or other.
This can now be done with Visual Composer, with no problem and all responsive.
This is just an example, and it must also be possible with tdComposer, to increase its great integrated system value, and the efficiency it has demonstrated.

Hi,
The icons were specifically created for that demo and there are no other icons provided. If you would like to use different icons in the menu please follow this guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-add-icons-in-menu/
There is a wide selection of Font-awesome icons to choose from.
The background color of the main header menu can be changed in the theme panel
– https://www.screencast.com/t/VXelfU7tMc
If you mean the block titles background, that is an image
– https://www.screencast.com/t/FayTCSKda7cC
Here you can see all the available block header styles
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-header-1/
Thanks
Hi,
Here you can see a brief descriptions and preview of the available post templates
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/post-templates-2/
You can also see them live on the demo
– https://www.screencast.com/t/bkfxxt2w
Post template style 7 seems to be similar to the layout you mention. The sidebar can be disabled for posts as well. As for the post content width there is no default option to modify it. That could be done only by using some CSS. Like this for example (no sidebar used)
When a sidebar is used the post content width is 696px, and without a sidebar it is 1068px.
Thanks
When I watch the youtube demo there are many elements that you can pull into your project, when I open it I have a very limited toolbox of 11 only, how do I get more?
Hi,
The mobile theme has nothing to do with the demo you have installed. The mobile theme has it’s own style and design. There is no option to change the general background color to black (or any other color in fact) in the mobile theme, at the moment.
The only color changing options are the ones in the theme panel, mobile theme section
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Lkulo5AfllWU
If you would like to change the default way that the mobile theme displays, please provide a link to your website and details about what exactly you want to change and how. I will try to give you a solution, if possible.
Thanks
Hi,
The tagDiv composer is necessary to be active, for the demo to be displayed properly. Problems with some elements of the demo can be present. You could make a test and install the demo in a testing environment, while having the tagDiv composer deactivated, and Visual composer active. And check if everything is fine.
So installing the demo poses no problem, but it may not be displayed as intended without an active tagDiv composer.
The theme panel settings can be exported for saving, and later imported. More about this here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-export-theme-settings/
Thanks
OK, but you still did not mention what exactly is the problem. What is happening? Why can’t you install a demo in 2 minutes like everybody else? You simply press the install demo button and the demo begins installing with or without content. Why does this process take weeks? Pleas provide more details and if yu require specific aid, contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide a link to your site and wp-admin so we can login and investigate.
As for full grids, please make sure your site is not boxed. Adding any at all background image or color (including white) will cause the theme to go into boxed mode. Please remove any image and press the clear button for the background color in the theme panel under colors section. Now you can use the stretch row and content feature of the row settings inside the tagdiv composer settings.
Thanks.
Please tell me it isn´t so.
I have just upgraded to 8 from 7.something.
Main aim – to get the black theme.
Just had a hellish weekend dealing with the fallout, and now I discover the mobile theme, i.e. that used by over 50% of our readers, remains in white.
I totally get that the mobile theme is all about speed, but black isn´t any slower than white is it? Usually faster if anything. Seriously, surely you understand that anybody wanting the black theme wants it for reasons of style and aesthetics? Surely if black wasn´t available you´d slap a big warning over the black theme, along the lines of ´we´ll warn you now that it isn´t compatible with the mobile theme so don´t waste a weekend masking everything look uber cool in black only to find out it isn´t, infact it will look a lot worse than it did before you started, because it has been designed for black but will be displayed on white. ´Surely you´d say that?
Tell me it isn´t so, but as i´ve a horrible feeling you won´t be able to, point me in the right direction of getting the mobile theme compat with the desktop. i assume there is some css in the default desktop demo that flips everything to make it the black version of the default demo.
(please don´t say carry on using the desktop version for mobiles if you don´t like its features)
Hello,
I really love your work. I have Newspaper template and everything is perfect. I noticed now you have new Demos. ARt Creet is breathtaking. I would like to install Art Creek demo to my template. I would like to ask it is necessary to haveTagDiv Composer because I have problem with conflicting with Visual Composer. I would like use them both but it isnot functional. I build my site on visual composer and I cant afford to turn off. I need visual Compsoer activated. Please can you give me tip. It is possbbile to instal demo Art Creek without TagDiv Composer?
And I would like to save my current template seting before instaling demo. Can you give me tip how to do it?
Thanks a lot
Jan Dudek
thanks for the reply bogdan.
no errors at all (other than i can´t activate it which i reported on another post).
it has been a long weekend of battle against the theme, but i´m pretty well there now. some specific quirks still outstanding.
i can´t get any full grid to work for example so i´ve had to go boxed. doing my best to go with the tag div composer, but i´m really not feeling it.
worst of it is that despite having less on homepage now than in old theme, my pagespeed has slumped from 85 to 58 desktop – and the 58 is having worked super cache settings beyond your theme recommended which were giving me 51.
my feedback is that some more realistic notes would be better. the video and docs give the impression that the upgrade/switch and a new demo is a job to complete in minutes. It is hugely more complicated than that. It is a set aside a weekend job – and a good 10 hours of that could have been avoided with better documentation, a coherent start to finish tutorial instead of scattered docs and videos which leave you coming across essential info that you had no way of knowing existed until something goes wrong and you start hunting.
I hope you´ll take that to whoever decides these things at td
Hello, I would like to display the latest post for each of 7 categories using Big Grid 8 as shown in your tech demo. However, it appears to only show the latest 7 posts total, regardless of category. I have tried specifying categories but it doesn’t seem to work. Is this possible?
Thanks!
Hello Karacaart,
Which are featured pages? Unfortunately, I do not exactly understand what you mean. Provide more details about this so I will be able to provide a more accurate response. Please notice that when you import a demo, you can import it with (dummy) content or without content. Please check our documentation for a correct demo import, like this -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello 1CBAR1,
Regarding on buttons, please notice that I have just pointed you above where should be the steps which you have to follow in order to achieve these changes. This change involves more custom work and notices that we cannot do it for yourself, sorry! You should do it yourself because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!
Yes, if you will change the demo, all the specified design for that demo will be loaded/imported.
Thanks for your understanding!
